00:01Years ago, Mother returned home carrying a crystallized egg.
00:07Inside that egg were two living Rathalos.
00:11I remember how happy I was when I heard two newborn cries,
00:15so small yet so full of life.
00:22This time I'd eschewed my royal duties
00:24and tried to push any thoughts of my mother from my mind.
00:28All of that has brought me here.
00:32My mother, Simon, even Ratha.
00:37I know nothing about them.
00:39I can't stand it anymore.
00:43We've borne witness to the Rathalos' return from extinction.
00:47And with it, the sort of omen we can ill afford to ignore.
00:52I've learned of all the lives lost in the Rift War.
00:57Then perhaps he's told you that the war 200 years ago was the source of all these feral monsters.
01:03They're coming!
01:04The Vermilions betrayed us!
01:06It's the hell they faced 200 years ago all over again.
01:09And to Skyscale Rathalos no less.
01:11What did we do to deserve this?
01:13Oh, Eleanor.
01:16I'd heard Azuria had made a hostage of you, but I never imagined they'd take your spirit as well.
01:21War will only harm our people and further endanger our kingdom!
01:25You know that as well as I do, Clarissa!
01:27This isn't Ranger business.
01:30One wrong move, and it can all blow up into a diplomatic incident.
01:34I've been prepared for this my whole life, Captain! I swear I'll win! So just watch me!
01:39Okay, let's get going.
01:42Counting on you for backup, Captain.
01:44We'll take that beast down this time, right lad?
01:47This is you we're talking about. I just know you're gonna offer to help with my other work.
01:52There must be a path forward without bloodshed. Don't you think so?
01:57We've all got your back, so stand tall. We know you can do this.
02:02Two centuries ago, our ancestors committed a grave sin.
02:07We have to accept these transgressions.
02:09And as riders, it's our responsibility to right these wrongs.
02:17Come on!
02:28I'm sorry, Oof!
02:36I'm sorry, Oof!
02:38C.
02:39C.
02:39Yes!
02:40C.
02:41C.
02:41C.
02:42C.
02:43C.
02:44C.
02:45C.
