Iranian missiles have reportedly struck Bahrain’s BAPCO refinery in the Ma’ameer area, triggering a large fire at one of the kingdom’s most important oil facilities. Two missiles are said to have hit refinery units, sending thick smoke rising over the industrial zone. Bahraini authorities confirmed the refinery fire but stated that emergency crews quickly contained the blaze and operations continued.

The strike comes amid intensifying regional tensions following U.S.–Israel attacks on Iran. Analysts warn that targeting energy infrastructure in the Gulf could disrupt oil supplies and significantly escalate the broader Middle East conflict, increasing global economic and security concerns.
