After her stunning performance in the cooking duel, Gu Shengnan (Zhao Lusi) is feeling more confident than ever. However, while doing Lu Jin’s (Lin Yushen) laundry (part of her "debt repayment" that she now does for love), she discovers a velvet box containing a stunning diamond ring.
Is the cold CEO finally ready to pop the question? Shengnan spends the entire episode in a hilarious state of "proposal panic," trying to act elegant and prepared for the big moment. Meanwhile, Lu Jin is actually dealing with a high-stakes business merger and has no idea why his girlfriend is suddenly acting so strange. The climax features a romantic dinner where expectations and reality collide in the most awkward—and adorable—way possible.
