00:03Beyond the elegance of the stage exists a reality built on sacrifice, passion and unwavering discipline.
00:11My vocacy is for us women to fight for our rights.
00:15We deliver truth and authentic news. Thank you.
00:18The morale of the community will stay strong and high. Thank you.
00:30Welcome back to the Straight from the Expert.
00:36And of course, we will learn how to deliver a perfect answer when it comes to the Q&A portion.
01:53So, ngayon, bina-brighten ko yung under eye, kasi magda-dark tayo ng contour and bronze.
01:59Dapat yung center ng face is bright enough siya, kasi yun yung tinatawag nilang face-up effect.
02:22One of the things that is essential is learning how to do your own hair and makeup.
02:27Also, it's that everything is a feeling.
02:30And so, when you feel comfortable and confident in how your hair and makeup looks
02:35and doesn't necessarily change the way you look, but it adds to your natural beard,
02:41you just perform so much better because you're working from the inside out.
03:00So, it's the final look, guys, from daytime to nighttime makeup.
03:11I just feel so much more confident to showcase myself even more and just ready to take on duty
03:18and responsibilities at a kind of home.
03:36Now, we've come to the last part of the training.
03:47Now, we teach the girls the use of the prep method.
03:50Ito yung tinatawag na point, the response, the example, going back to the point.
04:30You own your answer.
04:33Dito papasok yung iniincorporate natin yung personal story mo.
04:38So, your story dapat reflected sa sagot mo.
04:41Be that image of strength for the children and the people around them.
04:45Then, once the rebuilding is complete and is underway, the morale...
05:02kailangan iyong iyong eye contact.
05:05The movement of the hands, the movement of the neck, even the head must be fluid at the same time,
05:14hindi stiff.
05:14Another advice that we give, we like to call it the self-audit.
05:18We have them say out loud their practice questions, record it, watch the video over without sound, and take notes.
05:26Do they like the body language?
05:27And then, the second part of it is when we have them turn the video off, but play the sound,
05:34and we ask them whether or not they like how they speak.
05:38And the third part of it is we have them watch the video with sound, and I have them transcribe
05:44each and every word they say,
05:46including the buzzwords, including the filler words, so that the next time they practice, they can remove those words.
05:59We teach authenticity to each and every one of our candidates, because we believe that an honest answer is an
06:05impactful answer.
06:06And you can only have an honest answer if you practice your authenticity.
06:10So we teach them to express themselves in an appropriate manner, carrying that authenticity, the goals they want to accomplish,
06:18and what they'd like to accomplish in the pageant.
06:31Now that we have seen all the hard work that goes into training a beauty queen, now we can better
06:38appreciate our beauty pageant representatives.
06:42And if you are an aspiring beauty queen, you can now prepare yourself for the work that lies ahead.
06:48And as a beauty queen myself, I have always believed that beauty queens aren't born, they are made.
06:54Thank you, thank you so much for watching, and please watch out for the next episode of Straight From The
07:01Expert.
