00:01The first commercial flight out of Dubai since war began arrived in Sydney late on March 4,
00:072026, with 200 Australians on board. It was an emotional return at the airport,
00:13with hugs and tears from family members who have been anxiously awaiting since the U.S.-Israel
00:20attacks on Iran began on February 28, 2026. Another three flights have also been scheduled
00:27to leave the United Arab Emirates throughout the day on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Additionally,
00:34six crisis response teams have been sent to the region to provide extra consular support,
00:39as Australians continue to flee the conflict.
00:47We've had some positive news today, and you might be aware that we are currently playing
00:54from Dubai to Sydney, with over 200 Australians on it. And that follows my conversation with
01:03the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and also the Prime Minister's conversation
01:08with the President. We thank the UAE for their support.
01:12It is absolutely good to be home, especially the actual first flight out of Dubai straight
01:18to hear was fantastic. So, yeah, 2AM was worth it.
01:21So, yeah, 2AM was worth it.
