00:00Welcome to the world's first look of Kinforge gameplay. Today I want to focus on combat and
00:05how finding elemental creatures unlocks power for your character. The Kinforge is an artifact that
00:10allows special individuals to bond with the spirits they discover and take on their abilities.
00:15At the start of a campaign you choose an ancient elemental as your first companion.
00:19These lords of the elemental realm grant you your starting abilities. Let's choose Emborello as an
00:23example. Emborello is an ancient fire elemental. By bonding with her she grants you the ability to
00:29throw fire darts, project a flamethrower, and summon her into the battlefield riding a giant acorn into
00:35a massive explosion. That's just the start. As you play you'll discover additional ancient elementals
00:43allowing you to take their powers as your own and create ability kits that suit your playstyle.
00:47I'm currently playing solo so could really use some crowd control and healing. Fortunately I found
00:52Fantasia who gave me freeze which freezes a target solid until it thaws or I do enough damage to
00:56break the ice. I also found Puddles who gave me Stygian Flow which creates a pool of healing
01:00waters at the end of my dash.
01:07Okay maybe I will survive a bit longer now. It's a nice setup but it's just the beginning.
01:11As you play you'll encounter other elemental creatures including sprites.
01:15At the Kinforge you can bond sprites to ancients to augment their abilities.
01:18For example you might find Fanzer which is a sprite that adds additional projectiles to an
01:22ancient's ability. Let's see what that does to Emborello's fire dart.
01:29Now we're cooking. But maybe Fanzer would be better bonded to Fantasia's freeze.
01:37Yeah I like that. As you adventure you'll find many different sprites that have different effects
01:42and you can mix and match them with different ancients. Almost any sprite can join with almost
01:45any ancient making for nearly limitless combinations. For example let's swap Fanzer back to fire dart and bond
01:51Mervo to freeze. Mervo is a sprite that turns a single target ancient ability into an AoE.
02:02Ancients can join with many sprites at once. Up to eight for the most powerful ones allowing you
02:05to create some truly crazy combinations. And of course when playing with friends you can set up your
