00:13Now, how much is enjoyment of the rest of my life important?
00:17Where do you weigh that?
00:18And a lot of guys that you play with over the years, the majority of guys are just football players.
00:22They want to play.
00:23They love the game.
00:24They love everything about it.
00:25And they're going to play.
00:26But there are a number of guys that do see it as, okay, I've done this.
00:30I showed myself I could do it.
00:32I've made this money.
00:33Now I'm going to go enjoy it, make sure that I can play with my kids, my grandkids, and have
00:37a good, healthy rest of my life.
00:40And I've seen guys that, looking back at now, my former teammates, that I go, man, I wish he would
00:45have stopped early.
00:46Because I look at him now, and you can tell that it's taking a toll on him.
00:48They're like, man, it's tough.
00:49They're struggling to sleep at night.
00:51They're struggling to do anything active.
00:53They put on weight or things like that.
00:56So you've got to be happy with his decision.
00:58He did it for himself.
01:00And I know it's tough for the Bears.
01:02But if you're just looking at it through a football perspective, I think this is actually a decent year for
01:07the Bears.
01:07There's a number of guys out there.
01:09There's at least three to four guys in free agency that I think wouldn't be much of a drop-off.
01:14One, I think would be, two, I honestly think would probably be an improvement.
01:17And then the draft.
01:19I did a little dive in the draft after work last night.
01:21You know, me and David on the big pro football show didn't have much time to digest this.
01:25And I think there are a number of kids in the draft.
01:27Would I want to go for a draft pick?
01:29A guy that doesn't really know how the NFL works?
01:31No.
01:32But maybe you sign a player, you draft a mid-round guy, and I think you could be in a
01:36good position moving forward.
