छत्रपती संभाजीनगर : शहरातील अनेक पेट्रोल पंपांवर सध्या 'नो स्टॉक'चे फलक लागलेले दिसत आहेत. मंगळवारी (3 मार्च) सायंकाळी समाजमाध्यमांवर इराण युद्धाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर इंधनटंचाई निर्माण होणार असल्याची अफवा पसरली होती. या अफवेच्या परिणामस्वरूप नागरिकांनी पेट्रोल आणि डिझेल भरण्यासाठी पंपांवर मोठी गर्दी केली. आज बुधवारी (4 मार्च) सकाळपासूनच वाहनचालकांनी मोठ्या प्रमाणात इंधन भरण्यास सुरुवात केली. त्यामुळे अनेक पंपांवरील साठा वेगाने संपला. परिणामी काही ठिकाणी पंप चालकांना इंधनअभावी पंप बंद ठेवण्याची वेळ आली आहे. दरम्यान, या परिस्थितीबाबत पेट्रोल डीलर्स असोसिएशननं स्पष्टीकरण देत कोणतीही इंधनटंचाई नसल्याचं स्पष्ट केलं. इंधनसाठा मुबलक असून नागरिकांनी अफवांवर विश्वास ठेवू नये, असं आवाहन करण्यात आलं. होळीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर दुपारपर्यंत पेट्रोल पंप बंद होते. त्यानंतर नियमितपणे पेट्रोल-डिझेल विक्री सुरू करण्यात आल्याची माहिती असोसिएशचे अध्यक्ष अखिल अब्बास यांनी दिली.
