00:25Chai was Special Functions Officer to Rafizi when the Pandan MP was the Economy Minister and left the ministry after
00:32Rafizi resigned as minister last May.
00:36Last week, a MACC source said the Economy Ministry's Secretary General was among several witnesses the agency would summon in
00:43its probe into a 1.1 billion ringgit agreement between the government and a foreign firm.
00:49The source also said several individuals were allegedly given senior posts in the foreign company involved after they stopped working
00:57with the government.
00:58Rafizi previously accused MACC of conducting a politically motivated investigation against him.
01:05He said the allegations against him revolved around two major government policies,
01:10the Silicon Vision Program and the National Energy Transition Roadmap,
01:14both of which he said went through multiple layers of government approval, including cabinet endorsement.
