00:00Hey guys, my name is Iantha Richardson. I play Faith on the show, and I am directing this episode of
00:06World Trip.
00:07Yay!
00:08I love being able to work with my castmates. When I tell you after the first day, I was literally
00:13like, wow, you guys are so talented.
00:15You get to be on a show, but you don't always get to see everyone's work.
00:20So to be able to work with Erica and Jake and even Ramon, like, although I'm with him often, but
00:25to be able to see it from a different perspective is so beautiful.
00:28And it's just a joy to watch and play with them.
00:32I think my acting informs my directing because every actor has a different process, but I can at least blend
00:39my process to theirs and blend them to be able to hopefully give a note that's articulate enough for them
00:46to carry on quickly.
00:47The thing is, I want people to feel embodied by my notes. I want them to feel seen. I don't
00:52want them to feel rushed or hurried or just like they're playing by numbers.
00:56And so I hope that that informs my directing the most.
00:59I'm super excited. This is my directorial debut on network television, and I'm just super grateful for the opportunity.
