00:00Qatar issued a stern warning to Iran on Tuesday saying it has crossed every red line and its attacks will
00:06not go without a response as it also poses a quote grave danger to international economies.
00:12Speaking to reporters, Qatar's foreign ministry says Iran did not just target military facilities but the entire Qatari territory including
00:20its Doha airport and natural gas facilities.
00:22Qatar also shot down two Iranian fighter jets who entered its airspace on Monday.
00:27Red lines have already been crossed. The attack on our sovereignty, the blatant attack on our people, on the security
00:35and safety of our nation has already crossed every possible red line and therefore we have taken all possible measures
00:42and we reserve the right to retaliate.
00:45Dr. Majid Al-Ansari says there are currently no open lines of communication with Iran and he made it clear
00:50that retaliation is firmly on the table.
00:52He also stressed that Qatar is completely prepared with enough air defense missiles to deal with any attack.
00:59Attacks like these will not go unanswered and cannot go unanswered.
01:03And when Iran struck Qatar the first time in the span of the 12-day war, we said very clearly
01:12at that time that this will merit retaliation from outside and we reserve the right to retaliate.
01:16The only reason we did not retaliate at that time was because we prioritized regional security and the possibility of
01:23a ceasefire.
01:23But the fact that this is happening again right now and that our sovereignty has been challenged in this way
01:31means that this cannot go unanswered another time.
01:35Dr. Al-Ansari also says Iran's attack on Qatar's LNG facilities forced their temporary closure and posed a grave danger
01:43to international economies.
01:44Meanwhile, as Qatar's airspace remains closed, more than 8,000 transit passengers are currently stranded and are being hosted inside
01:51the country.
