00:05Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most jaw-dropping looks
00:10to ever walk down the runway on Drag Race Philippines.
00:13We won't be including outfits from Slajan Royale, as that spinoff deserves a list of its own.
00:19In English, what will you do with a kilo of vegetable if a bottle of liquor is more affordable?
00:29For this runway, the queens were challenged to transform the classic Filipino blanket or
00:34kumot into an outfit worthy of haute couture. Arguably the best look on the runway that
00:39night came from Zimba Ding, who delivered a stunning two-in-one reveal.
00:50The Kalaocan queen first stepped out in a traditional Filipinana dress,
00:54which then opened up into a breathtaking ball gown. She leaned into the fabric's floral motifs,
01:00embellishing the gown with cascading flowers that culminated in a blossoming bouquet at the bodice.
01:04Paired with a striking green wig that perfectly contrasted the gown's warm orange tones,
01:09the look was a flawless exclamation point on an already stellar night for Zimba Ding.
01:13From the silhouette to the intricacy of the details,
01:16yung mga appliques mo dyan, kitang-kita ko kung paano mo ginupit yung mga bulaklak isa-isa,
01:22at pinatungan mo pa yung actual print nung fabric. Nag-work yun for you.
01:28Number 9. Eva Laqueen's Turno Shibeta Don't Gown
01:31There was no better way to open the Drag Race Philippines franchise than with a runway theme
01:35celebrating the classic Filipinana dress or turno. For her take, Eva Laqueen rose to the occasion with a modern spin
01:42on the traditional silhouette,
01:43opting for a gorgeous chartreuse gown with massive billowing sleeves.
01:47I decided to take a modern take on the turno. I decided to wear a collar that I know these
01:51basic bitches can spell. It's chartreuse.
01:54The drama didn't stop at the shoulders, though. It carried through to the bottom half,
01:58where the same voluminous construction formed a sculptural bump on the left side, finished with lettuce-like folds.
02:04Lettuce entertain you.
02:06Alexander, drag queen.
02:08She completed the look with a glistening blue wig and minimal pearl accessories,
02:12channeling a chic, high-fashion Marge Simpson. The result was nothing short of stunning.
02:17It actually reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw's Dior dress from Sex and the City.
02:23The wedding gown. So beautiful. Stunning.
02:26Number 8. Angel's Art Attack Extravaganza
02:29Throughout the third season, Angel consistently delivered impressive runway looks,
02:33but she clearly saved her most breathtaking work for the finale.
02:36I am goddess. I am angel. I am love. I am cool.
02:42Before she unveiled her delectable best drag gown, Angel served up an artful representation of a waterfall
02:47for the Art Attack Extravaganza category. Inspired by a series of paintings by Filipino-American artist
02:53Paul de Malanta, the dress faithfully translated its source, incorporating elements that evoked clouds,
02:58trees, rocks, and flowing water.
03:00So I'm walking down the runway like,
03:02Apo yung bagbaing painted na falls and everything sa gawon ko.
03:09This was all topped with a headpiece symbolizing sunrays above the scene.
03:13This runway was proof that Angel understood how to translate a creative concept into high fashion,
03:18elevating what might have been a simple idea into a piece worth studying and appreciating.
03:23Wow, what a body of water.
03:25I like it.
03:27Number 7. Miss Jade So's Best Drag Eleganza
03:30The esoteric, bratsy goddess may not have clinched the crown on season 2,
03:34but she certainly won the Best Drag Eleganza category at the finale.
03:37Jade stepped out in the most shimmering ballgown you've ever seen.
03:41A dream is a wish that heart makes.
03:45I dream of my illuminating moment.
03:49With a blinding silver bodice and a voluminous pink skirt that swayed dramatically with every step,
03:54Jade sure knew how to command attention.
03:56The look embraced the exaggerated nature of drag,
03:59featuring oversized gleaming jewelry and glistening stones woven into her wig.
04:03She's going, going, going, gone.
04:09From the moment she made her debut on the Drag Race runway in that campy feather look,
04:13each outfit Jade served was building toward this moment.
04:16It served as a wonderful crowning statement of her iconic run.
04:20Close the line.
04:21Close the line.
04:22Number 6. Maxi's first time's a charm look.
04:25It's no easy task to elevate your first ever drag look into something worthy of the Drag Race finale runway,
04:31but Maxi did so flawlessly.
04:33The eventual season 3 winner delivered a polished reinterpretation of a dress she originally wore when she was just 11.
04:39I elevated this look from 11-year-old Maxi and Queen of the Universe to Drag Race of Philippines.
04:48This elevated version was a fully sequined,
04:51multicolored gown that caught the light from every angle as she moved down the runway.
04:55Featuring delicate straps and strategic cutouts at the top,
04:58the look flowed seamlessly into a mermaid silhouette at the bottom with a tulle fishtail hem.
05:02It's the kind of transformation her 11-year-old self would have been proud of,
05:06perhaps even more so than winning the crown itself.
05:15Number 5. Minty Fresh's Turn No, She Betta Don't Gown
05:18Minty Fresh was the fashion queen of season 1,
05:21and she established that right out of the gate.
05:27For the Turn No, She Betta Don't runway,
05:29she stepped out on a Filipiniana dress inspired by the Minakawa,
05:33a dragon-like creature from Philippine mythology believed to swallow the sun and plunge the world into darkness.
05:43With this look, Minty Fresh became the light,
05:46glistening with every step and commanding the runway like the only star in the solar system.
05:51She completed it with slicked-back hair and minimal jewelry,
05:53letting the dramatic gown do all the talking.
05:56Paired with her captivating talent show performance,
05:58this ensemble helped secure her the first ever maxi challenge win in Drag Race Philippines.
06:11Number 4. Vinyas Deluxe's Pink Pock Boom Ensemble
06:14When it comes to campy fashion on the Drag Race Philippines runway,
06:22no one does it better than Vinyas Deluxe.
06:24Everyone still talks about her spellbinding shake, rattle, and rampa ensemble to this day,
06:29but her most unforgettable look came in the Pink Pock Boom runway,
06:32when she decided to pull back the curtain on the beauty process itself,
06:36stepping out in hair rollers and a pink facial mask.
06:38The look leaned heavily into humor, but didn't sacrifice on glamour.
06:49While the judges didn't seem to like it as much,
06:51the other queens appreciated it and it became beloved within the fandom.
07:03The outfit got a refreshed take when Vinyas returned to compete on the first season of Slaysian Royale.
07:08Number 3. Precious Paula Nicole's Shake, Rattle, and Rampa look
07:12For this runway, the queens were tasked with bringing classic creatures from Filipino folklore to life on the runway.
07:23Precious Paula Nicole delivered one of the night's most unsettling and personal looks.
07:27She opted for the Chanak, a vampiric creature in Philippine mythology that lures its victims by taking on the form
07:33of a baby.
07:38Dressed as a woman pregnant with the Chanak,
07:40Precious ended her runway walk by birthing three babies on the main stage,
07:44much to the shock of the judges.
07:46Later on, Precious revealed that the look was inspired by her relationship with her late mother,
07:50whom she never got to see before her passing due to work commitments.
08:06Kiana's runway package on season three was one of the best the show has ever seen,
08:11perhaps only surpassed by her runway package on Slaysian Royale,
08:14but that's a topic for another day.
08:16As stunning as her Art Attack Eleganza look was,
08:19nothing came close to her Precious carnival ensemble.
08:29Kiana didn't come just as a performing act, but as the entire carnival.
08:34Her red, white, and gold look evoked a grand tent,
08:36with drama masks circling her face like a carousel.
08:47While fun as hell, the ensemble didn't lose the fashion aspect,
08:51maintaining a silhouette that was both polished and flattering.
08:54The look is perfect as is, but Kiana revamped it even further on Slaysian Royale.
08:59I chose this because I think this is my best runway.
09:03The most iconic look that I had.
09:06I'm very confident that you're going to eat it up again.
09:10Before we unveil our top pick, here are some honorable mentions.
09:14Brigadine's Cherneau, She Betta Don't Look.
09:16This stunning traditional garment drew inspiration from Brigadine's own mother.
09:19I am wearing this as a tribute and to celebrate the Filipino women.
09:25I'm paying homage to my mom, and I feel like I'm the most gorgeous, just like my mom.
09:30Arizona Brandy's Ulalam Realness.
09:32This comedy queen showed she has just as much fashion shops.
09:42Captivating Kat Kat's Rainbow Runway Realness.
09:44Stunning in its own right, but still passing a powerful message.
09:48Oh, new statement.
09:50Uh-oh.
09:59Matilda's feather outfit.
10:01Gothic elements helped elevate this feather look to the next level.
10:04I'm living my Victoria's Secret angel fantasy with these big-ass wings
10:09and these highest heels on this beautiful runway.
10:12John Fetal Yaga's gosh with the wind outfit.
10:15Perfectly nailed the brief, yet fabulous enough to flow on its own.
10:18I'm really feeling the femininity in me, the pink, the feathers.
10:23And can you see how she's getting blown?
10:26Blah, blah, blah, blow.
10:28Blah, blah, blah.

10:45Number 1.
10:46Marina Summer's Lampshade Ensemble.
10:48The penultimate episode of Season 1 saw the top 5 queens present two runway looks
10:53in a bid to secure a spot in the finale.
10:55From the very first category, Marina Summer's all but locked in her place in the top 4.
11:00I know I'm the only source of light on stage, but I can see how the judges gag for this
11:06look.
11:06The category called for a garment that incorporated LED lights,
11:09and Marina decided to come out as the source of illumination itself.
11:13The frilly gown alone would have been gorgeous enough,
11:16but she topped it with an oversized headpiece resembling a lampshade
11:19that lit up as she glided down the runway.
11:21How's my head?
11:23No complaints.
11:23I'm preparing for the gown.
11:25This was a perfect blend of camp and glamour,
11:27and it made the strongest argument yet for why Marina was deserving of the crown.
11:32Marina, for me, you are a superstar,
11:34and you're ready to take on to the world stage.
11:38Yes.
