00:46The viral cell phone footage of the February 26th incident shows the little girl screaming in terror
00:51as the zookeeper fought to free her from the lion's grip.
00:55After battling with the lion for nearly 30 seconds, fighting the predator off with a metal stick,
01:01the zookeeper finally managed to free the child.
01:04Following the incident, the little girl was transported to a local hospital
01:07where she was treated for minor leg abrasions and given a rabies shot.
01:12Local media reported that the zookeeper has since been suspended
01:15and reassigned as the child was too young to be in that area of the zoo.

01:39at Safari World in Bangkok in Thailand's capital.
01:43Fellow zookeepers, not wanting to get close to the danger,
01:47blared on their car horns in a futile attempt to scare the big cats away.
01:51But the grisly attack continued.
01:53By the time zoo staff were able to get them off with guns,
01:56the lions had gnawed on his body until his bones were exposed.
