00:05Over the weekend Wales came together to celebrate St David's Day, a moment to honour our patron
00:11St Dary Sant and reflect on everything that makes Wales such a remarkable place. From
00:17our stunning landscape to our rich culture and history, Wales truly punches above its
00:22weight and we have every reason to be proud. Yet while Scotland and Northern Ireland enjoy
00:28national holidays for their Saints' Days, Wales still doesn't. That's why my Welsh
00:34Conservative colleagues and I are calling for St David's Day to finally become a
00:39bank holiday. It would strengthen our identity, boost our economy and give
00:44people the time to truly celebrate what it means to be Welsh. I'll continue to be a
00:51strong voice for Monmouthshire and for Wales today and every day. Diogh.
