00:13Not many people can say that their job can inspire others to the extent that the Matildas and we are
00:21able to so when I get a message from a fan I actually received one recently about my
00:26Allianz campaign it's a really special moment because I never envisioned myself
00:30in this position to be able to inspire in such a way stepping foot on the field
00:35it's just this incredible feeling of relief and a weight lifted off my
00:39shoulders because all the work that I put in to my recovery has finally
00:43culminated in that moment that I've been looking forward to the whole time I've
00:48always wanted to be a soccer player and go further in life and the Matildas helped
00:53me like achieve my goal because I really want to be that when I'm older and also
00:58people just believing in me and knowing I can do it and it helps me believe in
01:02myself a lot. My quote for the Matildas was Michelle Heyman coming back from her
01:11injury and retirement and Mary Silas speaking out about her mental health
01:16issues and also congratulating Sam Kerr on her kid and getting married.
01:23Oh wow that's really inspirational. Is that why Mary Fowler is your favourite? Because she was so brave to speak

01:33Look I found out about a week ago that I'd be meeting some of you and I was very excited
01:37so
01:37I started making bracelets and look I've got your initials and numbers oh that's
01:42really good. Sorry if Harper's gonna after I had my daughter we moved cities from Cairns to Brisbane so
01:49I didn't really know anyone and I missed playing soccer playing with a team so I
01:55knew that if I joined a team I would at least you know meet some new people and
01:59the support from my teammates after going through postnatal depression and
02:06anxiety was something I can't I I don't know it's hard to express but I I'm so
02:14grateful for that support because they made me understand that when I was
02:19ready I was welcomed back on the field and back in the team and they stayed
02:23constant throughout that time so it really helped me.
02:26To the Matildas I just want to say thank you I thank you for showing up for
02:32always getting out on the field for doing your best trying your hardest because
02:38that inspired me to come back through some really hard times and and the joy
02:44that I feel when I'm playing in a team and when I'm watching the Matildas is
02:49unparalleled there's nothing like it.
