Le Qatar intercepte des vagues de missiles iraniens au deuxième jour des représailles

Au deuxième jour des frappes américaines contre l'Iran, Téhéran continue de lancer des attaques de missiles et de drones dans le Golfe, y compris vers le Qatar, où les autorités recommandent aux habitants de rester vigilants. La base aérienne américaine d'Al-Udeid a été touchée.

00:00A series of missile attacks were heard here in Doha early Sunday morning.
00:04Shortly after the blast, a nationwide emergency alert was sent to every phone,
00:08urging the public to stay indoors.
00:10Qatar's Ministry of Interior confirms at least 16 people have been injured since the attacks began,
00:16leaving people here on edge.
00:18The attacks follow a tense Saturday, with repeated strikes seen and heard across the country.
00:23Authorities say 65 ballistic missiles and 12 drones launched from Iran were intercepted in Qatar.
00:30However, two missiles reportedly struck Al-Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. military base in the region,
00:35and one drone hit an early warning radar system.
00:38Meanwhile, the country's airspace remains closed, grounding all flights and stranding many passengers.
00:43Qatar Airways says it will resume operations once the Civil Aviation Authority says it's safe to do so,
00:49and an update is expected Monday at 9 a.m. local time.
