00:00Hey, hello, welcome to the Brits.
00:03What's it like to be here?
00:04It's amazing, you know, I've only been once before.
00:08I've been to the after parties before, but
00:10now to be at the actual sort of events, mad, like,
00:13I've only been once, but for it to be in Manchester is pretty special, I think.
00:16So, yeah, I'm excited.
00:17What's it like being at the Brits?
00:20Profound.
00:22It feels fitting for it to be here in Manchester, right?
00:25Why do you reckon it is that music from Manchester seems to stick with people so much?
00:30I think people from Manchester tend to have a really incredible ability to be humble,
00:40and there's a lot of humility in the city, and I think a lot of people are very talented,
00:43but they don't forget their roots, they don't forget where they come from.
00:46There's also, this goes for everybody in every industry.
00:49Manchester definitely has a really great work ethic,
00:51so I think people from here, if they're given a shot,
00:55they're going to work their hardest, basically, so I think that's why Manchester...
00:58Yeah, yeah.
00:59The producers are such great people.
01:00Sorry, sorry, I thought you were done there.
01:02So, of course, Noel, his winning Songwriter of the Year,
01:06were you there when he got the news?
01:08I was not.
01:09No?
01:10Do you know what the response was like?
01:12I found out on Instagram as well.
01:13Yeah?
01:13I found out on Instagram.
01:15I think he was shocked, which is, he also, like I was saying, he's quite a...
01:22Yeah, I think he was, he's quite, in my opinion, he's quite a humble person.
01:26I think a lot of people would disagree with that.
01:28But I think that, yeah, he, I think getting recognised by music,
01:33especially now that it's a younger generation of people buying into his,
01:36buying his albums, buying their albums, it's like, I think that's a really amazing thing.
01:40Yeah.
01:42So, I'm, of course, going to pick your brain about upcoming shows.
01:46You were there, you saw the insane response to Live 25.
01:50What has it been like?
01:52What's the family dynamic?
01:53Do you reckon there's more shows on the cards?
01:57Who knows?
01:58I mean, like, I would love for Oasis to live forever, and I think it does in our hearts,
02:03but you know, who knows?
02:05It must have been amazing for you to see that, first hand.
02:08Not many people get that.
02:09Yeah, it was, it was incredible.
02:11I mean, technically we did see it before when we were kids, but...
02:13Yeah, I think that's the thing, is like I had, we had memories of Oasis before,
02:18but I mainly cared about how many Milky Way stars were in the dressing room,
02:23and how many beef-flavoured hula hoops I could eat, so...
02:26Yeah, and how many, like, boxes of cereal had toys in them and stuff.
02:30So it was nice to be able to go to the shows and, like, experience it with a relatively clean
02:36head.
02:37Yes.
02:39Okay, and then lastly, congrats on the new Villanelle music.
02:43It's going down a storm.
02:45Yeah.
02:46How long until we see you back here getting songwriter yourself?
02:49We'll see.
02:50Yeah?
02:50We'll see.
02:51Well, I think most exciting Gallagher and the family these days.
02:57Yeah, do you have that competitive streak?
03:00Like, okay, I can hold up.
03:01I don't think we're competitive, I think we're a very supportive family.
03:04Yeah.
03:05Everyone thinks everyone's great.
03:07Yeah.
03:07No, it's all good, we all love it.
03:09It's all good vibes.
03:10All good vibes.
03:11Okay, thank you so much.
03:12Thank you very much.
03:12I appreciate it.
03:13Take care.
