00:10:41No
00:10:45Can I hear?
00:10:46Is he perhaps a good man
00:10:48Realise
00:10:48The reason
00:10:50She
00:10:50I believe so
00:10:51A pineapple covered in diamonds is being examined by Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuvel and Lady Agatha Danbury, Ajoa Ando in
00:10:59the opening scene
00:11:00They chat about the current season
00:11:02Her Majesty isn't feeling impressed thus far
00:11:05Not one of the debutantes has made an effort to stand out
00:11:08The monarch, however, would not allow Lady Whistledown's comments from her most recent booklet to denigrate her
00:11:15She is going to play the game and prove to this anonymous gossip columnist that she has reason to be
00:11:20terrified
00:11:21The story then switches to Lady Whistledown, Julie Andrews, who narrates about the many women who were supposedly out of
00:11:27the marriage, Ma, but ended up being married
00:11:30Wearing one of her stunning new dresses, Penelope Featherington, Nicola Coughlin stands in front of the mirror with her maid
00:11:37Mrs Varley, played by Lorraine Ashbourne, says she's relieved Penn's mother didn't force her to throw out the garments
00:11:43A spectacular tour of their estate is given to Wool and Alice Mondrick, Martin Zimhangbe and Emma Naomi, together with
00:11:50their children, one of whom is the new Baron of Kent
00:11:53They find out that their quarters are on the opposite side of the hallway
00:11:57Married couples shouldn't sleep in the same room in the ton
00:12:00Then, Eloise Bridgerton, Claudia Jessie, Colin, Luke Newton, and Benedict, Luke Thompson go along the seafront
00:12:08Benny makes fun of Eloise for changing into a young woman who fits in with society
00:12:13When Colin and Penn get back together, they begin with operation, find Penn a husband, that was my invention
00:12:19He tells Penn to seduce two lords they encounter while out on a walk because he says he wants to
00:12:24see her flirtatious abilities in action
00:12:27Penn burns and crashes
00:12:29Later, Francesca, Hannah Dodd and Hyacinth, Florence Hunt join Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton, Ruth Gemmel for tea
00:12:37The Queen isn't quite done with the season, Lady Danbury says
00:12:42Francesca's future appears bright, since there are plenty of suitors who share her passion for music
00:12:47Meanwhile, Lady Portia, Polly Walker at the Featherington home gives the, talk, to her married daughters, Prudence Dankwith, Bessie Carter
00:12:55and Philippa Finch, Harriet Keynes
00:12:58She inquires as to whether they have performed the horizontal tango, rolled in the hay, and the beast with two
00:13:03backs
00:13:04Speaking of sultry stuff, Colin finishes off two women's heated and intimate intercourse between the sheets
00:13:10Penn and Colin later reunite at an open-air market to carry on their instruction
00:13:15He maintains that she is a natural flirt and doesn't need instruction
00:13:19Colin remembers how Penn charmed him without hesitation when they initially met as kids
00:13:25Subsequently, we witness Will and Alice, evidently missing each other, sleeping in their own rooms
00:13:31Alice goes to the Modesta the next day to have the clothes she inherited from the late Lady Kent altered
00:13:37Catherine Drysdale's character Genevieve Delacroix advises Alice to spend part of her newfound wealth on more stylish clothing
00:13:44Francesca and Eloise are also at the Modesta in the meantime
00:13:47To buy herself more time, Eloise advises Francesca to put off seeking a partner
00:13:53But Francesca says that she wants to marry as soon as possible since she will be able to live in
00:13:57peace
00:13:58Benedict, Colin, Gregory, Will Tilston, and Hyacinth engage in a card game in the garden of the Bridgerton residence
00:14:05Colin gets up from the game to lead Penelope into the drawing room for some role-playing
00:14:10Penn is reassured by Colin that everyone is continue playing their card game even though Eloise has left
00:14:16Penn then tries her flirting again, this time on Colin, who is posing as a nobleman at a gala
00:14:21She shows off her amazing writing abilities by referring to his eyes as, the most remarkable shade of blue
00:14:28When he is nice, they shine even more
00:14:30Colin leads Penn into the study so she may hide when he hears Eloise and Francesca are going home
00:14:36There, she discovers his notebook detailing his global adventures
00:14:40She reads a passage in which Colin says that some of the world's most beautiful ladies are those from Paris
00:14:46Horrified that she has read his inner thoughts, he walks in
00:14:49As Colin takes up his journal, Penn apologizes
00:14:53He accidentally topples a glass case that holds a candle
00:14:56While attempting to gather the glass fragments, Colin wounds his hand
00:15:00Penn takes immediate action, snatching up a cloth to bandage the wound
00:15:05It becomes another time of intense sexual tension
00:15:08Penn then runs away, but not before witnessing Eloise as she exits the room
00:15:13Everyone gets ready for the upcoming ball that evening
00:15:16Colin and Eloise go in a carriage together, and Alice is thrilled to discover that the late lady Kent possessed
00:15:22exquisite jewels
00:15:23Colin expresses regret for bringing Penn inside the house
00:15:27He reveals that he has been teaching her things and that she wants to find a spouse
00:15:31In another scene, Benedict and Colin ask a group of debutants if the guys will dance that night
00:15:37Sighing, Benny realizes he has to carry out at least one of his duties as a TUN member
00:15:43Colin and Penn reconcile in the interim
00:15:45In the meantime, Francesca meets a possible suitor who enjoys music
00:15:49At first, they get along well since they both adore different composers and their compositions
00:15:55However, Francesca experiences a, unclick, and the discussion becomes uninteresting
00:16:01Lady Danbury and Violet observe the exchange from a distance
00:16:04Danbury questions whether it would be preferable to let Francesca to function in her own, sphere, as it were
00:16:10Will and Alice at the Kent Estate, meanwhile, make the decision to defy some social mores
00:16:16They want to share a room for sleeping and just dance together during balls
00:16:21Alice does, however, wish to preserve the jewellery that belonged to her late great aunt
00:16:26Afterwards, Lady Whistledown's voice may be heard reading the most recent leaflet that's been going around the TUN
00:16:32Penn wrote nasty things about herself, saying that after that disastrous attempt with Colin, she ought to go back into
00:16:39seclusion
00:16:40Poor girl of mine, you're not just a, wallflower, either
00:16:43You are indeed a gem
00:16:45Penn receives criticism from Portia for going above and beyond what is impossible
00:16:50Oh no, after all that happened with their relative last season, their reputation is already in jeopardy
00:16:56Penn's maid tells her she has a caller that evening
00:16:59Colin is here
00:17:00He expresses regret for all that transpired, including his actions
00:17:04Penn gives up, thinking there's no hope for her
00:17:07But before she completely gives up, she asks Colin to give her a kiss
00:17:11Penn has never received a kiss before
00:17:14He lies to her at first, then he grants her request
00:17:17When Polan eventually gives us a kiss, it's amazing
00:17:21Penn thanks him and walks away, leaving Colin looking visibly startled
00:17:30I apologise for the
00:17:32Eat, I, I, I
00:17:34By you
00:17:35I
00:17:42Again, Mama
00:17:43She was split alphabetically
00:17:45But I was met with complete and meek
00:17:48She waits for the maids to throw out
00:17:50I think Penelope is quite fort
00:17:52Are you alright?
00:17:55Dearest
00:17:55J
00:17:56Nearly to the clouds
00:17:57And
00:17:58Rested in only one
00:17:59Thing
00:18:00I hear he is
00:18:02I just think my mind is elsewhere
00:18:04Throw it
00:18:05One has to fall
00:18:26The scene opens with Luke Newton's character Colin Bridgerton dreaming about kissing Nicola Copland's character Penelope Featherington
00:18:35Compared to their kiss in real life, which was tender and radiated warmth, this one is more hotter and more
00:18:41sensual
00:18:41Before the kiss deepens, he awakens
00:18:44We catch the Bridgertons in the drawing room that morning
00:18:47Ruth Gemmel's character, Lady Violet Bridgerton, begs Hannah Dodd's character, Francesca, to repeat exactly what Queen Charlotte said to her
00:18:55at the last ball
00:18:57Benedict, Luke Thompson and Hyacinth, Florence Hunter informed by Gregory, will Tilston that he fractured his arm while attempting to
00:19:04view a hot air balloon from the roof
00:19:06Most of the time, Eloise, Claudia Jesse reads a book quietly
00:19:10The family later welcomes Colin
00:19:13Is his brother having a late night?
00:19:15Benedict queries
00:19:16In another scene, men are preparing a huge hot air balloon for a public show at an open air carnival
00:19:23Francesca is Her Majesty's diamond of the season, and Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuvel and Lady Agatha Danbury, a Joa Ando
00:19:30go over a list of deserving suitors for her
00:19:32Lord Alfred Debling is mentioned by Lady Danbury
00:19:35The Queen, though, thinks he's too engrossed in nature to think about getting married
00:19:41Danbury makes reference to her unwelcome home visitor, but she withholds the name
00:19:45Pen meets Lady Portia, Polly Walker, Prudence Dankwith, Bessie Carter, and Philippa Finch, Harriet Keynes in the drawing room of
00:19:53the Featherington residence in the meanwhile
00:19:56It has been a week since her daughter has been withdrawing into her room, remarks Portia
00:20:01Then, Eloise pays Pen a surprise visit
00:20:03She expresses regret for the rumours that started to circulate about Colin adopting Pen
00:20:09According to Eloise, she had no intention of sharing the information
00:20:13Pen responds that if Eloise revealed it on purpose, she wouldn't hold it against her
00:20:19Eloise wishes Pen well in her search for a spouse
00:20:21Later, after deciding it's time to reintegrate into society, Pen goes for a stroll
00:20:27She is the centre of attention for everyone
00:20:29When she and Colin get back together, they awkwardly decide to stop teaching
00:20:34Then, when Lord Debling, Sam Phillips is staring at the plush animal heads affixed to the wall, the mons at
00:20:40the party chat about him
00:20:42Joanna Bobbin's character Lady Cooper pushes her daughter Cressida, played by Jessica Madsen to get Debling to wed her
00:20:49Her parents will find her a spouse if she is unable to locate one on her own
00:20:53Speaking with Debling, Cressida discusses being a predator rather than a prey
00:20:57The Featheringtons and Bridgertons show up in the interim
00:21:01Benedict recognises the debutante from the previous episode with whom he danced
00:21:05He makes every effort to elude her
00:21:08In another passage, Lady Danbury tells Francesca that the lesser lords typically arrive first, followed eventually by the more powerful
00:21:15ones
00:21:17Eloise and Cressida take a stroll in the park the next day
00:21:20In an attempt to win Debling over, Cressida confesses her wish to learn more about nature
00:21:25Given that Eloise is smart, she seeks for her assistance
00:21:29Later, during an outdoor market, the Featherington, Dankwith, and Finch clan appears to Lord Hawkins' hot air balloon demonstration
00:21:37Colin locates Penn
00:21:39To keep the tons from realising they're talking to each other, the couple pretends to be staring at Candies
00:21:45Penn acknowledges that she's enjoying her time with Debling
00:21:47They are becoming more intimate
00:21:49Even though Colin appears unhappy about it, he attempts to hide it
00:21:53He stares at her lips as she bites into a cupcake
00:21:57Eloise and Cressida then encounter Debling
00:21:59Cressida exclaims how much she loves the legendary orc
00:22:03To impress Debling, Penn and Cressida engage in a not-so-subtle competition to discover who can learn the most
00:22:09about nature
00:22:09Penn is certain that one should not ignore the sparrow
00:22:13The Mondrics make the decision somewhere not to go to the event that evening
00:22:17Will does, after all, miss his club
00:22:20Even if he stops by sometimes, it's not the same as spending a night there
00:22:24Alice would like to remain indoors
00:22:26Benedict, meantime, goes into a tent to listen to Lord Hawkins, Deepak Verma talk about his creation of the hot
00:22:33air balloon
00:22:34There, he encounters Hannah New's character Lady Tilly Arnold
00:22:38A strong-willed woman who silences the males who oppose Hawkins' presentation
00:22:43Francesca is then introduced to Lord Samadani, David Mumeny, a Marquess from Vienna, by Queen Charlotte
00:22:49To meet her, he made the special trip to London
00:22:52Sitting side by side, they stare at the hot air balloon
00:22:56Penn and Cressida are concurrently carrying on their covert rivalry for Debling's affection
00:23:01Right now, Prudence and her spouse Harry Dankwith, James Foon choose to have it done next to her tent, out
00:23:07of sight
00:23:08Prudence pushes Harry as a guy suddenly catches them
00:23:11He stumbles over one of the ropes that is securing the balloon
00:23:15The balloon's fastening pegs are pulled out when it comes loose
00:23:18Wool, Colin, Benedict, and the other guys scramble to seize ropes so they can draw the balloon back to where
00:23:23it was resting
00:23:24It's a daring deed that only a romantic lead is capable of
00:23:28The balloon is hurtling toward her when the pen freezes in place
00:23:33Violet loses her glove when the Bridgerton family shows up at the event later that evening
00:23:37Daniel Francis' character, Lord Marcus Anderson, takes it up
00:23:42Before they part, the two momentarily make eye contact
00:23:45Cressida receives an order from Lady Cooper to get Debling to dance
00:23:49Not a tight squeeze
00:23:51Eloise idly strolls around, utterly disinterested in the debutante's discussions about marriage and the wedding day
00:23:57Lord Samadani and Francesca spend more time together
00:24:01But when he says he wants eight children, she is overwhelmed
00:24:05Violet notices that Francesca has left Samadani and goes looking for her when she excuses herself
00:24:10She is reunited with Lord Anderson
00:24:13Violet is introduced to him by Lady Danbury as her brother
00:24:17Francesca encounters Victor Ali's character, John Sterling, the Earl of Kilmartin, outside
00:24:23He has no problem standing outside by himself in quiet
00:24:26There's a cosy silence between the two of them
00:24:29Then Wool works at his busy club, behind the bar
00:24:32Wool talks with Jonathan Livingstone's character, Lord Garrett, about the impending hunt to which he was invited
00:24:39Garrett tells Wool that there are boundaries to everything in high society
00:24:42In another scene, Penn strikes up a conversation with Lord Debling as he brings Cressida some lemonade
00:24:49She expresses regret for posing as someone she wasn't the day before
00:24:53Penn doesn't like being in the outdoors and would rather curl up with a nice book
00:24:58Debling says he would much rather wed someone who is exactly who she is
00:25:02Colin walks up to Penn, obviously hoping to make a declaration of love
00:25:06But he can't say anything once he sees Penn
00:25:09My sad infant
00:25:10Debling suddenly appears and asks Penn to dance
00:25:13Julie Andrews plays Lady Whistledown, who tells the story of Debling's unexpected courtship of Penn
00:25:19Lady Whistledown states, it is quite evident that the battle is, in fact, between man
00:25:25And himself in the struggle between man and nature
00:25:28Colin, who is in love with Penelope, appears disturbed as he watches her dance with another man
00:25:37He is dead
00:25:38I must not rush as I am with child
00:25:39I must not rush as I am with child
00:25:40I think shhh look, what is this?
00:25:42What is it?
00:25:44Huggiton's help, many people do much
00:25:46My other daughter's just...
00:25:47Penelope is sad at that w-
00:25:50I suppose I mostly just enjoy the view
00:25:53He he, we are expe-
00:25:56Leave none for the Marquess
00:25:58That is kind of you
00:26:01Very well
00:26:03Dearest
00:26:03I shall return when
00:26:05Thin
00:26:07I do not know these past 10 years
00:26:10You must forgive me
00:26:11I am occupied a good one
00:26:14One person is
00:26:16to become the new Marquis
00:26:18Satherings. We shall arrange one
00:26:20You read me too well
00:26:21That is the cake, I believe
00:26:25There is a call
00:26:27I am certain
00:26:29I am a
00:26:30It is a pleasure to
00:26:32Can I join you a moment?
00:26:35The scene opens with Philippa Finch,
00:26:38Harriet Keynes, Lady Portia
00:26:40Featherington, Polly Walker, and
00:26:42Prudence Dankworth, Bessie Carter
00:26:43listening in on Penelope Featherington,
00:26:45Coughlin and Lord Alfred Debling, Sam
00:26:48Phillips. She's been visited
00:26:50by Lord Debling, who brought her a
00:26:52plant so she might experience nature
00:26:53without having to leave her house.
00:26:56Newton's character Colin Bridgerton
00:26:58pouts in his study in the meantime.
00:27:00He's thinking about Penelope.
00:27:02Ruth Gemmell's character, Lady
00:27:03Violet Bridgerton, says they're getting ready
00:27:06to welcome Lord Samadani.
00:27:08She desires Colin's presence to
00:27:10assist Francesca. Colin says
00:27:12he's going to stay out of it.
00:27:13If not, he'll consume every bite of
00:27:16food. Violet brings up
00:27:17Colin's queries from the previous night's
00:27:19gala on friendship evolving into love.
00:27:22According to Colin, all he was thinking
00:27:24about was Francesca.
00:27:25He desires that she find the ideal
00:27:28mate. Dude, quit lying
00:27:29to yourself. Hannah New,
00:27:31who dislikes being called upon,
00:27:33is called upon by Benedict Bridgerton,
00:27:35Luke Thompson, in the meanwhile.
00:27:38That's alright, though,
00:27:39since they can skip the polite conversation
00:27:41and go right to the point.
00:27:43In another scene, Daniel Francis
00:27:45plays Lord Marcus Anderson,
00:27:47and Ajoa Ando plays Lady Agatha
00:27:49Danbury, who eats with her brother.
00:27:51He regales the employees
00:27:53with his tails. Lady Danbury,
00:27:55though, is not amused.
00:27:57She's curious as to why he returned
00:27:59to London. Lord Anderson says
00:28:01he's returned because there's no ladies
00:28:03or society. As we hear throughout
00:28:05this chapter, Lady Whistledown,
00:28:07Julie Andrews leaves heartfelt notes
00:28:09for Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuville
00:28:11in the palace. Reynolds,
00:28:13Hugh Sachs points out that having a second
00:28:15ball will provide him another chance to guarantee
00:28:17Francesca's match.
00:28:18The Queen concurs. Afterwards,
00:28:21Violet, Will Tilston,
00:28:23Hyacinth, Florence Hunt,
00:28:25Francesca, Hannah Dodd,
00:28:27Eloise, Claudia Jessie,
00:28:29and Gregory, Will Tilston wait
00:28:31for Lord Samadani to arrive at the Bridgerton
00:28:33home. But then Victor
00:28:35Ali's character, Lord Kilmartin,
00:28:37real name John Sterling,
00:28:39enters the drawing room. Sitting
00:28:41in cosy stillness, he and Francesca
00:28:43periodically exchange pleasant glances.
00:28:46The expected guest,
00:28:47David Mumeni's Lord Samadani,
00:28:49then shows up. Kilmartin
00:28:52leaves, leaving Francesca
00:28:53to stare wistfully at him. In the
00:28:55meantime, Alice, Emma Naomi
00:28:57is informed by Will Mondrick,
00:28:59Martin Zimhangbe that he has had several
00:29:01requests to close his club. Or
00:29:03give it up, at the very least.
00:29:05He seemed to be torn. The constraints
00:29:07of the ton are becoming clear to the
00:29:09Mondrics. Families from the upper
00:29:11classes go to Lord Fuller's enormous
00:29:13library in another location.
00:29:15Penn is seen by Portia reading a book.
00:29:17Even if it pertains to Lord
00:29:19Debling's field of study, she begs her
00:29:21daughter not to pursue it.
00:29:23When Eloise gets back in touch with
00:29:25Cressida Cooper, Jessica Madsen,
00:29:27she learns that her parents want to marry
00:29:29her after an older guy because she
00:29:30hasn't been able to find a spouse.
00:29:33Colin, the monarch of covert looks,
00:29:35keeps his expression gloomy.
00:29:37However, he accepts his friend's
00:29:39invitation to a night out in the hopes
00:29:41that it will divert his attention from
00:29:42Penn. Penn discusses her preferred
00:29:45literary genre with Debling.
00:29:47Debling presents a fictitious situation
00:29:49in which a guy approaches a woman's
00:29:50mother to ask for her hand in marriage.
00:29:52Oh no, old Debbie will approach Portia
00:29:55and beg if he may wed our Penn.
00:29:57I adore Debling because she's a
00:29:59sweetheart. Fortunately,
00:30:01he didn't become an unbearable antagonist
00:30:03from the series. But Pollan's love
00:30:05is too strong. Like magnets,
00:30:07they are attracted to one another.
00:30:09Colin heads back to his women of the evening
00:30:11for a little more sensual fun.
00:30:13He can't seem to get Penn out of his
00:30:15head, though. Instead of
00:30:17doing X, he chooses to observe,
00:30:19even though he doesn't appear to be really
00:30:21interested in seeing two women engage in X.
00:30:24While out and about,
00:30:25Violet and Francesca happen to stumble
00:30:27across Lord Kilmartin.
00:30:29They hear someone playing the violin on
00:30:31the street. Although Francesca
00:30:33is familiar with the song, she finds it
00:30:35excessively rapid. It should
00:30:37be played in three-quarters time,
00:30:39in her opinion. Kilmartin
00:30:41takes heed of her words and suddenly
00:30:43disappears. Debling pays Portia
00:30:45a visit the next day. She bestows
00:30:47her benediction upon him.
00:30:49Penelope says Debling hasn't asked her
00:30:51yet after he leaves. Her response
00:30:53is still, no. Portia
00:30:55advises her daughter to take advantage
00:30:57of this chance. All the family
00:30:59will benefit from it. At that moment,
00:31:01Portia believes Penn may be
00:31:03holding out for love.
00:31:05Safety, according to her, is
00:31:07romantic. Violet later gets
00:31:09ready to head to the Queen's
00:31:10Ball with the Bridgerton family.
00:31:12Colin lets his mother know that he would
00:31:14rather remain home since he doesn't feel
00:31:16good. But when Violet says that Debling
00:31:18wants to ask Penn to marry him,
00:31:20Colin's mind starts to race.
00:31:22The gala then features a stunning dance
00:31:25performance, replete with sweeping
00:31:26orchestral sounds.
00:31:28Her Majesty makes her biggest and most
00:31:30intricate wig debut to date.
00:31:32Wearing such gorgeous things must have
00:31:34killed Golda Rosheuvel's neck.
00:31:36Lady Bridgerton and Lord Anderson
00:31:38reconcile in the interim. They
00:31:40connect even though Violet's marriage
00:31:42was a love match since they are both
00:31:43widows. In his second act, Anderson
00:31:46wants to find love. Alice is
00:31:48seated in Queen Charlotte's box seat
00:31:50with Lady Danbury. Danbury says
00:31:52will ought to go to these things with Alice.
00:31:54He needs to part with his club.
00:31:56Whoever works in the ton will not
00:31:58have the Queen's favour. Danbury
00:32:00offers Alice show him aspects of affluent
00:32:02culture that attract him.
00:32:04Benedict and Lady Arnold meet somewhere.
00:32:07They discuss the ballet with Lord
00:32:08and Lady Fuller. For a while,
00:32:10Cressida and Eloise converse.
00:32:12After expressing regret for her
00:32:14father's actions, Cressida says she has
00:32:16no intention of leaving Eloise behind.
00:32:18In another scene, Colin is sitting
00:32:21in his study watching the candle
00:32:22go out. He remembers
00:32:24that weeks before, Penn had bandaged
00:32:26his injured hand. Decades
00:32:28of friendship sustain their relationship.
00:32:31He heads straight for the ball.
00:32:33Lady Danbury is pursued by
00:32:34Lord Anderson outside the ball.
00:32:36His sister announces that she is going
00:32:38to leave since Her Majesty's Diamond is
00:32:40dancing with Lord Samadani and the ballet
00:32:42is done. Francesca receives
00:32:44sheet music from Lord Kilmartin
00:32:46following their dance with Samadani.
00:32:48It's from the discussion about the
00:32:50street violinist from the other day.
00:32:52Music in question is in the recommended
00:32:543 quarters time. Although Kilmartin
00:32:57says he's not particularly good
00:32:58with words, he thinks gestures can
00:33:00convey a lot of information.
00:33:02Francesca seemed ecstatic.
00:33:04In order for her to play the piano 40,
00:33:06she begs Violet to go early.
00:33:08As Francesca leaves Lord
00:33:10Samadani and starts talking with Kilmartin,
00:33:13the Queen and Reynolds notice her.
00:33:14They don't appear very happy.
00:33:16This would represent the second time
00:33:18that Her Majesty's suggested pairing
00:33:20has failed. Philippa
00:33:22and Prudence become aware that they may be
00:33:24expecting a child simultaneously.
00:33:26Due to the pain in their breasts.
00:33:28It's a warning indication.
00:33:30Then, as his friends leave,
00:33:32Colin crashes into the ball.
00:33:34On the dance floor are Penelope and
00:33:36Lord Debling. Penn asks Debling
00:33:38if she thinks their relationship would
00:33:40eventually grow into love.
00:33:42Debling acknowledges that he has no idea
00:33:44what the future may bring.
00:33:45Colin then requests permission from Debling
00:33:47to intervene during the dance.
00:33:49Cressida leaves Eloise quickly,
00:33:51seeing an opening with Debling.
00:33:52He grudgingly agrees to her invitation
00:33:55to continue the dance.
00:33:56Colin is informed by Penelope that he
00:33:58would sabotage her courtship with Debling.
00:34:01Colin maintains Debling isn't the best
00:34:03fit for Penn. Penn finds it
00:34:05unbelievable that he would give her advice
00:34:07on finding a marriage and then reject the
00:34:08first suitor who approaches her.
00:34:10You cannot have both cake and frosting.
00:34:13Following the dancing,
00:34:15Penn finds Debling. Penn is asked
00:34:17why she enjoyed sitting by her home's
00:34:19window by him. Is it that
00:34:21she had a clear view of the house in Bridgerton?
00:34:23Penn has been seeking
00:34:25for someone, according to Debling.
00:34:27Colin's decision to break up their dance
00:34:29is evidence of his affections for her.
00:34:31Penn angrily disputes this,
00:34:33saying Colin would never treat her that
00:34:35way. As, old friends,
00:34:37they are. Debling doubts
00:34:39Penn's love for Colin. When she
00:34:41fails to respond directly, Debling
00:34:43makes it clear that he is looking for a wife
00:34:45who isn't involved with anybody else.
00:34:47Though he may argue that they are a good
00:34:49fit, I believe he has genuine affection
00:34:51for Penn. Debling
00:34:53leaves. As she watches him go,
00:34:55Portia questions what Penn did to
00:34:57for him to end their romance.
00:34:59Penn charges that her mother is only
00:35:01interested in her when there's a ring on her finger.
00:35:03Entering abruptly,
00:35:05Prudence informs Portia that she is
00:35:06expecting. But Portia is preoccupied
00:35:09with watching Penn run away.
00:35:11Colin sees Penn's carriage pulling
00:35:12away from the dance. He takes
00:35:14off running after her. It's quite
00:35:17romantic. Violet watches an
00:35:19excited Francesca playing the Lord
00:35:20Kilmartin piano 40 sheet music
00:35:22in the meanwhile. Her daughter
00:35:24is in love, but she isn't with the
00:35:26Queen's match, as she now realises.
00:35:29Eventually, Colin catches
00:35:30up to Penelope's carriage.
00:35:32He leaps inside. Penn
00:35:34gives her driver the instruction to deliver
00:35:36him first. Penn is shocked that
00:35:38he would jeopardise her relationship with
00:35:40Lord Debling. Colin says
00:35:42she's not the right fit for Debling.
00:35:44He would be gone for the first three years
00:35:46of their marriage due to specific hobbies.
00:35:48Colin skirts the topic until
00:35:50he finally admits that he feels something
00:35:52for Penn. He keeps thinking
00:35:54about her all the time. Colin
00:35:56is eager to go to sleep since he knows
00:35:58he will see Penn more in his dreams.
00:36:01Penelope doesn't think it at
00:36:02first. She believes she is not
00:36:04deserving of love. She acknowledges
00:36:06that she wants more, though.
00:36:08The two have a passionate kiss as a result
00:36:10of this. Oh, it's
00:36:11Poland season. There are many kisses
00:36:14and hands swaying all around us.
00:36:16Colin managed to find her.
00:36:17We adore a man who is considerate
00:36:19of a woman's pleasure. It is warm.
00:36:22Everything is heated.
00:36:23Colin extends his hand to Penn as they
00:36:25get to the Bridgerton residence.
00:36:27He desires to bring her into his
00:36:29house. Ultimately, they are getting
00:36:31hitched. It's about time Colin
00:36:33told his family that Penelope
00:36:35and Sophie Featherington is his fiancée.
00:36:41Mart, follow a predictor.
00:36:49Speed. Indeed.
00:36:54Oh!
00:36:56This is just...
00:36:56This is just...
00:36:57What's our expression for?
00:37:02I can't...
00:37:03Just as surprised as you are.
00:37:05For how long have you have been?
00:37:06Heloise... Does he know?
00:37:07I doubt. And until he knows...
00:37:10Just let him hear it from me. I just need...
00:37:16Time for the happy couple.
00:37:19Whistle down!
00:37:21I think you would find her rather common.
00:37:24Not...
00:37:25Allowed, Mr. Dankworth.
00:37:27If we...
00:37:28...pies to all that Mr. Bridgerton's...
00:37:32Hand in.
00:37:32I certainly...
00:37:35...will see fit to make.
00:37:37After their sultry carriage ride,
00:37:40Colin Bridgerton, Luke Newton shows
00:37:42Penelope Featherington, Nicola Coughlin
00:37:44into his mansion, as narrated by
00:37:46Lady Whistledown, Julie Andrews.
00:37:48You still recall the two fingers.
00:37:51Naturally, they got engaged recently.
00:37:53As Colin tells Lady Violet Bridgerton,
00:37:56Ruth Gemmel, Francesca, Hannah Dodd,
00:37:59and Hyacinth, Florence Hunt of their engagement,
00:38:01Penelope is stunned.
00:38:03While Violet and Francesca clutch Colin,
00:38:06Hyacinth hugs Pen.
00:38:07Looking less than excited, Eloise,
00:38:09Claudia Jessie walks into the room.
00:38:12With Pen pursuing her closely,
00:38:14Eloise excuses herself.
00:38:15Pen's engagement to her brother astounds her.
00:38:19How long has Pen felt something for Colin,
00:38:21she wonders.
00:38:22Eloise goes on to say that if Colin doesn't know
00:38:24Pen inside and out,
00:38:26he can't love her with all of his heart.
00:38:28Pen would then have to admit that she is Lady Whistledown.
00:38:31Pen says she will inform him soon, she swears.
00:38:34That night, Pen sits in her room,
00:38:37penning the most recent version of her scandal sheet.
00:38:39Luke Thompson's character Benedict Bridgerton
00:38:42and Hannah New's character Lady Tilly Arnold
00:38:44had an early role in The Hay the next morning.
00:38:47Tilly takes out her copy of the booklet written by Lady Whistledown.
00:38:51Upon a quick look,
00:38:52Tilly suggests Benedict might be interested in this specific version.
00:38:56Meanwhile, Mr Dankwith, James Foon reads the lines of Whistledown to Mr Finch,
00:39:01Lorne MacDonald, Lady Portia, Polly Walker,
00:39:05Philippa, Harriet Keynes, and Prudence, Bessie Carter, the Featheringtons.
00:39:10The only one who appears enthusiastic about his sister-in-law is Finch.
00:39:14Pen listens in on the group to determine how they respond.
00:39:17In another scene, Daniel Francis as Lord Marcus Anderson
00:39:21and Ajoa Andoa's Lady Agatha Danbury sit at the breakfast table and take in the news.
00:39:26Agatha is happy that the contest went as planned.
00:39:29At the palace, Brimsley, Hugh Sachs reads Queen Charlotte,
00:39:33Golda Rosheuval the pamphlet written by Lady Whistledown.
00:39:36It mentions Lord Kilmartin and Francesca's courting in addition to Pollen's engagement.
00:39:42Once more, a Bridgerton chose not to marry the impoverished Marquess,
00:39:45who was the Queen's chosen marriage.
00:39:48L.W., however, doesn't defame the Queen for this mishap.
00:39:52The gossip writer seems to have bit her tongue.
00:39:54The Queen grinned.
00:39:56After a protracted honeymoon, Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley,
00:40:00the Viscount and Viscountess Bridgerton, return home later.
00:40:03We find out that they are pregnant, and they intend to tell the family the good news.
00:40:08The Bridgertons are obviously in possession of a wealth of good news.
00:40:12When they get back together, Colin tells his brother and sister-in-law about his engagement,
00:40:17which causes them to become very thrilled.
00:40:20Cuthany looks radiant.
00:40:21I adore it.
00:40:23Elsewhere, Eloise confides in Jessica Madsen's character, Cressida Cooper, about Pollen.
00:40:29Eloise wonders if Penn exploited her as a pawn to get to her brother, as Penn met Colin before her.
00:40:35Cressida concedes that her thoughts are elsewhere.
00:40:37She is to marry Lord Greer, who is not a spring bird, as her parents had arranged.
00:40:43Cressida, nevertheless, makes an effort to see the positive side,
00:40:46maybe she can host amazing parties and go shopping all the time.
00:40:50The Bridgerton brothers then engage in a chinwag.
00:40:53Benedict and Anthony enquire about Penn.
00:40:56How did it begin?
00:40:57Has Colin yet to confess his love to her?
00:40:59When Benedict realises that everything transpired so rapidly,
00:41:03he asks Anthony whether he intends to duel his own brother.
00:41:06This callback is fantastic.
00:41:08I adore my Benny as well.
00:41:10Colin is encouraged by Anthony to express his feelings to Penn.
00:41:14Penn discovers her mother discreetly gazing out the window in the meanwhile.
00:41:18It still amazes Portia that a scandal sheet contained information about her daughter's engagement.
00:41:23She implies that Colin couldn't possibly love Penn since she finds it hard to believe that they are in love.
00:41:29She also brings up the events surrounding the Marina scenario for Penn.
00:41:34Fortunately, Colin hears this.
00:41:36He intervenes, setting Portia straight and ending her fixation with social status.
00:41:41He also professes his love for Penn.
00:41:44After they get married, Colin shows Penn their new house.
00:41:47Readers of books, this is where the much awaited mirror scene occurs.
00:41:51Colin wishes to display Penn his best features.
00:41:55Clothes are removed, and things become heated and heavy.
00:41:58Colin follows up with Penn to make sure she is happy with this.
00:42:02We like a man who values permission above all else.
00:42:05Colin questions her readiness.
00:42:06She begs him to give her instructions.
00:42:09They sit down on a chaise sofa and he gives her instructions.
00:42:13As an aside, the exhale Penn made upon seeing Colin's Mr Bridgerton had me laughing uncontrollably.
00:42:19If you have been following Luke and Nicola's interviews, you are aware that during one of Colin's sultry moments, they
00:42:24smashed a piece of furniture.
00:42:26As they enjoy the after-coital glow, Penn asks if they can go in for round two.
00:42:32Colin quips that it takes him at least ten minutes to feel better.
00:42:35They chuckle.
00:42:37Giddy Poland is my favourite.
00:42:39Kate and Anthony are sharing a bed in the interim.
00:42:41They're curled up together.
00:42:43Kate questions if they need to enjoy their good news for a little while longer.
00:42:47Violet has a lot on her plate already.
00:42:50Kate doesn't want Newton to witness Anthony acting flamboyant, which I understand given that his wife is among the most
00:42:55attractive individuals on the planet.
00:42:58He is a little, delicate doggo.
00:43:00In another scene, Violet follows Francesca and Victor Ali's character, Lord Kilmartin, also known as John Sterling.
00:43:07They stroll around the park on a promenade.
00:43:10In order to keep Anthony from waking up during her early morning piano playing, Francesca tells him a story from
00:43:16her early years about how Anthony hid in her piano bench for a week.
00:43:20When John finds that Anthony is back in town, he considers having a conversation with him.
00:43:25John promises Fran he won't ever conceal her piano bench.
00:43:29Kate later organises Poland's engagement celebration.
00:43:32When she notices Eloise sitting in a corner, looking hopeless, she tells the staff to go and talk to her.
00:43:38Kate suggests that Eloise express her feelings to Colin on his marriage to Penn.
00:43:43Kate and Eloise together have always appealed to me.
00:43:46I hope their relationship grows.
00:43:48As an aside, I'm more certain that Eloise will be the focal point of season four after hearing her mention
00:43:54how everyone is pairing off.
00:43:56She talks to a specific plant father because she feels lonely.
00:44:00Varley, Lorraine Ashbourne then tells Portia that Walter Dundas, the solicitor, has been snooping about once more, inquiring about Jack
00:44:08Featherington.
00:44:09Varley informed Dundas of Portia's absence.
00:44:12She suggests that Portia get to know the Bridgerton family, particularly if Dundas causes the family to run into legal
00:44:18issues.
00:44:19Portia continues to focus on Colin, accusing him of having a social status fixation.
00:44:25She is reassured by Varley that her main goal is to keep her family safe.
00:44:30Portia emphasises that finding a compatible partner may be difficult for any woman, and she was unaware that Penn was
00:44:35experiencing this.
00:44:37Varley thinks Penelope should hear this from Portia.
00:44:40In the aftermath, Penn and Colin later lay intertwined on the chaise lounge.
00:44:45Penn attempts to persuade Colin into giving her access to his writing.
00:44:49He's still thinking about it.
00:44:51A knock on the door abruptly causes our couple to hastily get dressed and leave before anybody notices them.
00:44:57Agatha pays Queen Charlotte a visit in the interim.
00:45:00They are rejoicing, the Queen admits.
00:45:02The most recent leaflet from Lady Whistledown shows how helpless she is.
00:45:07She didn't write any bitter criticism of Her Majesty.
00:45:10It's time to attack and take LW out where it hurts.
00:45:14Colin reads aloud a note from the Queen while in the carriage.
00:45:17A prize of £5,000 will be given to anyone who can tell the crown who Lady Whistledown is.
00:45:23Colin is happy about this.
00:45:25He thinks she'll soon take off her mask.
00:45:28Naturally, he has no idea that his beloved Penn is LW.
00:45:32Penn seemed to be in a panic.
00:45:34Afterwards, Eloise finds her brother engrossed in his work when she visits Colin's office.
00:45:39She requests that they speak.
00:45:41Eloise is offended that Colin went behind her back to propose to Penn even though he knew they were at
00:45:46odds.
00:45:46Colin expresses regret.
00:45:48He declares his undying love for her and says he knows Eloise did too.
00:45:52He wants his sister to approve of them.
00:45:54Colin delivers the Queen's message and the award to Eloise before she leaves the office.
00:45:59Next, Cressida and her soon-to-be husband, Lord Greer, Richard Durden, have a conversation with Lady Cooper, Joanna Bobbin.
00:46:06Greer is a lot of fun, he despises balls, music, and Cressida's FE trinket outfit.
00:46:12Greer says he'll go to one ball a month with Cressida.
00:46:14Oh, and he figures she'll give birth to at least four or five children.
00:46:18Then Penn is asked by Prudence and Philippa how she was able to snag Colin.
00:46:22Don't tease Penn, Portia tells her pregnant daughters.
00:46:25As it should, the Penn hate train really ends here.
00:46:29Portia discloses that she and Penn plan to attend the Bridgerton home engagement celebration.
00:46:33In another scene, Emma Naomi's character Alice Mondrick observes as her kid lists every cutlery item that is used during
00:46:40supper.
00:46:41Wool, Martin Zimhangbe obsesses over his club's ledges.
00:46:44Alice requests that her spouse take a week off.
00:46:48Move away from everything.
00:46:49Everyone gets together for the engagement celebration that evening.
00:46:52The son of the Mondricks, the Lord of Kent, plays with Gregory, Wool Tilston and Hyacinth.
00:46:58Portia and Colin patch things up.
00:46:59After meeting Tilly, Kate develops feelings for her.
00:47:03Danbury, Violet and Marcus are in awe at Colin's compatibility.
00:47:07Penn receives a threat from Eloise in the meantime.
00:47:10Before midnight, Eloise will reveal her identity to Colin.
00:47:16After that, Francesca, John, Marcus, Agatha and Violet have a conversation.
00:47:22John is convinced by Fran to share the tale of his filthy footwear with them.
00:47:27John starts to become apprehensive, though, and his narrative ends before it really gets going.
00:47:33Colin then gives his future bride a heartfelt toast.
00:47:36Eloise continues, raising a glass to everyone who is actually getting to know one another.
00:47:41After that, Portia raises a glass to the union of the Featherington and Bridgerton families.
00:47:46Benedict asks Tilly whether they need more booze or if the alcohol is hitting her too hard.
00:47:51In the drawing room, Kate invites everyone to play charades.
00:47:55Penn initiates the game.
00:47:57The competitive side of Antony emerges.
00:47:59I cherish my insane Viscount.
00:48:02Penn and Eloise race to solve all the riddles properly for a spell.
00:48:06Ultimately, Wool, Benedict, and Portia join in the conversation.
00:48:11Eloise is informed by Cressida that she plans to claim the Queen's bounty for revealing Lady Whistledown's identity.
00:48:16She gets into a brief argument with Eloise.
00:48:20John comes back with Fran to complete his tale about the boots.
00:48:24It touches Violet deeply, especially John's obvious love for her daughter.
00:48:28They're meant to be together.
00:48:30Kate informs Antony that evening that she hopes to share their baby news.
00:48:34She has reconsidered.
00:48:36Penn flees to the shelter of an empty chamber while everyone is discussing Lady Whistledown and the Queen's message.
00:48:42She is breathing heavily.
00:48:44The clock is ticking and Eloise's ultimatum is hanging over her head.
00:48:48Lady Whistledown has it made.
00:48:50Cressida hears Portia say, she can enjoy her celebrity and never have to get married.
00:48:55Cressida makes the decision to go by LW.
00:48:58Penn comes out, panting and trembling.
00:49:01Colin follows up with her.
00:49:03Violet and Agatha are told about Kate and Antony's pregnancy announcement.
00:49:06Then, everyone's attention is drawn to Cressida as Cantony tries to break the news to the group.
00:49:12Saying she's Lady Whistledown, she says.
00:49:14Murmurs and gasps fill the room.
00:49:17Portia appears astonished.
00:49:18As the clock approaches midnight, Penelope is so overcome that she passes out.
00:49:23Colin is trying to rouse her awake while everyone is surrounding her.
00:49:27Penn!
00:49:29She's a ghost!
00:49:31Shhhh!
00:49:31I had hopes she would abort my knees.
00:49:34I too might turn to write ambitious.
00:49:36She is hellborn.
00:49:37I think she is a jee-
00:49:38Cressida Cowper.
00:49:42I've been worried.
00:49:43There's nowhere else I would rather be.
00:49:50Kindnesses she has written about you.
00:49:52The Whistledown might be more...
00:49:55...follows you.
00:49:58Who's all this ink leading to it?
00:50:08Writer, he has rescinded into my roof and tarnishing my
00:50:11Papa, you cannot do that, Aunt Joanne lives in
00:50:15You do not believe me?
00:50:17Amongst them
00:50:22We are selling
00:50:24Members of the ton are perplexed as we start out since Lady Whistledown hasn't released her morning scandal sheet. As
00:50:31Penelope Featherington, Nicola Copeland tries to create a pamphlet criticizing Cressida Cooper's absurd statement, we hear Julie Andrews' voice as
00:50:39Lady Whistledown. Pen, however, rips the paper and throws it aside since she doesn't like what she writes. Pen gets
00:50:46a guest, as Lady Portia Featherington, Polly Walker bursts through the door.
00:50:51Following Pen's fainting at the engagement party, Luke Newton's character Colin Bridgerton checks up on her to make sure she's
00:50:57okay. Pen tells him she's alright. Colin presents her with a traditional engagement ring while she tries to hide her
00:51:04hand soiled with ink. It's quite beautiful.
00:51:07In the meantime, Cressida, Jessica Madsen at the Cooper residence is informed by Lord Cooper, Dominic Coleman that Lord Greer
00:51:14has withdrawn his proposal of marriage. She tries not to show too much enthusiasm. Cooper tells her that he is
00:51:21sending her to live with her Aunt Jo in Wales.
00:51:24Joanna Bobbin's character, Lady Cooper, begs her daughter to retract her assertion that she is Lady Whistledown after Lord Cooper
00:51:31storms out. Although she thinks Cressida has abilities, she doesn't think, writer, is one of them.
00:51:37Then, Lady Agatha Danbury, a Joa Ando is informed by Wool and Alice Mondrick, Martin Zimhangbe and Emma Naomi that
00:51:44Will intends to sell his club.
00:51:47Agatha exclaims that the Queen will be overjoyed as she rejoices. She advises the Mondricks to make every effort to
00:51:53distinguish themselves from the crowd. Maybe a grandiose boar will solve the problem.
00:51:58Then, in order to get his hat back, Lord Marcus Anderson, Daniel Francis visits Lady Violet Bridgerton's, Ruth Gemmell residence.
00:52:06He praises her for entertainingly co-hosting Pollan's engagement celebration alongside Kate.
00:52:12Marcus is asked by Violet about the conflict with his sister. He claims they'll work things out because it's just
00:52:18childhood grievances.
00:52:20Violet follows him out of the drawing room, where she finds Benedict, played by Luke Thompson, Gregory, played by Will
00:52:26Tilston, and Hyacinth, played by Florence Hunt arguing over macaroons.
00:52:31Eloise, Claudia Jessie, who is reading a book, is seated next to Violet. As Colin walks into the room, Eloise
00:52:39puts down her book, curious to know his thoughts on the Whistledown incident.
00:52:42In the meantime, Victor Ali's character John Sterling, Lord Kilmartin and Hannah Dodd's character Francesca attempt to inform the family
00:52:50of something.
00:52:51It's funny how John jokes about them not replying and him having the disease. After gaining her family's approval, Francesca
00:52:59announces her engagement to John.
00:53:01Everyone gives the delighted couple a hug. As Eloise enters Colin's study, he asks her whether she was aware that
00:53:07Cressida was Lady Whistledown.
00:53:09Lying, Eloise says she didn't. She intends to end her relationship with Cressida right now, though.
00:53:16Eloise queries Colin about his plans about Whistledown. Colin says that everything has, softened, him lately and that Penn's welfare
00:53:23is the one thing that worries him.
00:53:25Oh no. Eloise goes to see Penn later to let her know what Colin said.
00:53:30Cressida is pursuing the LW initiative. Penn says that she had to create a peace that challenges Cressida's authority.
00:53:37Penn is Whistledown, after all. She refuses to let Cressida take away her life's labour.
00:53:43Eloise turns around, dissuading Penn from telling Colin who she is.
00:53:48Then, in order to meet with the Queen, Cressida and her mother go to the palace.
00:53:53Hugh Sax Brimsley leads them into the throne room.
00:53:55Cressida is asked by Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuvel why she hasn't revealed her identity as Lady Whistledown earlier.
00:54:02According to Cressida, she wants to get her prize and lend the Queen all assistance she can.
00:54:07The Queen responds that the genuine LW wouldn't extend such a simple offer of support.
00:54:13Her Majesty threatens to expel Cressida from her court unless the latter Prince are, convincing, issue.
00:54:18Violet, John, and Francesca are having tea together in the meantime.
00:54:23John is aware that the Queen didn't first consider him for Fran.
00:54:26The pair would want Violet to announce their intention to marry Queen Charlotte.
00:54:31She had, after all, already met the Queen.
00:54:34Violet seems uncomfortable.
00:54:36In another scene, Penn's wedding and celebration are being planned by Portia and Varley, Lorraine Ashbourne, who remarked that the
00:54:43carriage ought to have gilded flowers on it.
00:54:44On the opposite side of the room are James Foon as Mr Dankworth, Prudence, Bessie Carter, Harriet Keynes as Philippa,
00:54:52and Lorne MacDonald as Mr Finch.
00:54:55Prudence and Philippa are jealous.
00:54:57Their mother did not take thus much time to arrange their marriages.
00:55:01They didn't marry men who had endless money, Portia says.
00:55:04Following that, Portia and Penn had a brief conversation.
00:55:08She describes the late Lord Featherington to her daughter as a weak, harsh guy.
00:55:12He treated her badly.
00:55:14Given how uncommon it is to find a love match, she is happy that Penn has.
00:55:18In the meantime, Benedict and Hannah New's character, Lady Tilly Arnold, relish one other's company and a little breakfast.
00:55:26Tilly tells them that she and her buddy Paul are going to host a dinner party.
00:55:30She values Paul greatly.
00:55:32On the last night of the latter's club, Benedict, Colin, John, and Will are seated there.
00:55:37It's about time to close.
00:55:39Will serves them some beverages.
00:55:41Everyone makes jokes about the, bad luck.
00:55:44Benny discusses his lack of direction.
00:55:47John quips that he's fortunate to have seen another bottle.
00:55:50Colin discloses that he is penning a travelogue.
00:55:52This moment is really great, especially when you see John's future brothers-in-law getting along.
00:55:58After that, Penn, Portia, Violet, Colin, Agatha, and Marcus go to church, where Colin's engagement to Agatha is formally proclaimed.
00:56:08Fortunately, no one objections to their upcoming marriage.
00:56:11We find out in three weeks they are getting married.
00:56:14Polin share a dance in the area where they would exchange vows after everyone leaves the chapel.
00:56:19It's just too cute.
00:56:21Penn admits she has loved Colin ever since they first met.
00:56:24Agatha brings Marcus to a widowed friend of hers outside the chapel.
00:56:28She desires that he avoid Violet.
00:56:31Eloise and Cressida reconcile in the interim.
00:56:34Why did Cressida come forward, Eloise wonders.
00:56:37She claims that her life is lonely.
00:56:39She wants Eloise to go with her.
00:56:41Maybe they could collaborate on writing Lady Whistledown issues in the future.
00:56:46Eloise reminds Cressida of what Penn, Sick written about her in the previous year.
00:56:50She admits that she is no longer able to work with or remain friends with Cressida.
00:56:56Cressida snaps in agony.
00:56:57In another scene, Violet informs Agatha about Fran and John's desire for her to represent them in speaking with the
00:57:03Queen.
00:57:04Although Violet respects the match, she is concerned that the Queen may discover her reservations if she presses too hard.
00:57:11Queen Charlotte could therefore feel empowered to reject the match, Agatha continues.
00:57:16Colin and Penn then become involved in the discussion.
00:57:19Violet gives them a big hug while Fran looks on, dejected.
00:57:23She and John appear less enthused about Poland than her mother is.
00:57:27Subsequently, Penn hides her writing instruments under her room's floorboards at the Featherington residence.
00:57:33The Mondriks then get ready to throw their very first ball.
00:57:36Penn goes to the Modishta to choose out fabric swatches for her bridal gown.
00:57:41Penn meets up with Madame Delacroix, Catherine Drysdale, who wishes her well on her impending marriage.
00:57:47Delacroix believes Penn will go on writing under the Penn name Lady Whistledown and inform Colin of her progress.
00:57:53Penn, meanwhile, says she intends to give Cressida the credit.
00:57:57She is going to stop writing as L.W.
00:58:01Delacroix acknowledges that she is unsure if she can give up her job as a Modishta because she enjoys it
00:58:05so much.
00:58:06M.D. is gently urging Penn to continue writing.
00:58:09Later, Cressida is spotted by Lady Cooper at a desk.
00:58:13As Lady Whistledown, Cressida explains that she is penning a complete issue in an attempt to convince the Queen to
00:58:19award her the £5,000.
00:58:21Lady Cooper reveals that her husband plans to give Cressida her dowry back.
00:58:26Following Cressida's unveiling, Lord Cooper was expelled from his club.
00:58:30Thus, she gives Cressida encouragement to Penn that scandal sheet.
00:58:33Although the prize money is little, it could be sufficient for Cressida to survive until she finds a spouse in
00:58:39the country.
00:58:40Cressida is asked to read what Lady Cooper has so far.
00:58:44Still, it's not that good.
00:58:46Lady Cooper's mind is seen to be working.
00:58:49Tilly's buddy Paul, Lucas Aurelio hosts supper for Tilly and Benedict that evening.
00:58:54Paul inquires about Benedict's hobbies.
00:58:56Does he apply paint?
00:58:58Compose?
00:58:59Other than doing his obligations as a member of the ton and occasionally attending balls, Benny doesn't do much.
00:59:05The topic of Tilly and Paul's first meeting comes up.
00:59:08Paul becomes more receptive to Benny once he starts telling jokes.
00:59:12Benny, my child, is really endearing.
00:59:15The Mondrics toss a spectacular ball in the meantime.
00:59:18When Agatha presents her brother to other widows, he appears ecstatic.
00:59:23Abruptly, the Queen shows up.
00:59:25She doesn't appear impressed until the enormous dance floor centerpiece unfolds to show exquisite floral arrangements.
00:59:31Her Majesty gives the go-ahead.
00:59:33She gives Alice a nod.
00:59:35Fran then insists that her mother speak to Queen Charlotte now that she is here.
00:59:40Violet is adamant that she will speak with Agatha about scheduling a time at court to talk to the Queen.
00:59:45There is currently too much going on.
00:59:48Fran, nevertheless, takes this to mean that Violet disapproves of John.
00:59:52She walks off furiously.
00:59:54Violet pauses for a moment before getting up to leave the dance floor.
00:59:58Agatha catches Marcus as he excuses himself from his group of widows to follow her.
01:00:03Here is where we ultimately discover the source of the conflict between the two.
01:00:07Years ago, Agatha came dangerously close to breaking free from her forced marriage to Lord Danbury.
01:00:13But before Agatha could go away, Marcus alerted his father about her escape plot.
01:00:18She was forced to consummate the marriage.
01:00:21This scene features an amazing ajoa Ando.
01:00:24This scenario is just what I've been hoping for, because Lady Danbury is such a fantastic character.
01:00:30Benedict and Paul then take in some clean night air.
01:00:33Paul goes inside to let Tilly know that Benedict appears willing to participate.
01:00:38Benny witnesses Paul and Tilly sharing a kiss.
01:00:41Benedict is asked to, join, the couple.
01:00:44Benny, who is clearly upset, gives an excuse, saying he has to get someplace before he departs.
01:00:50Well, I wonder whether he'll decide to join the threesome later on.
01:00:53Afterwards, Lady Cooper and Cressida show up for the Mondrix party.
01:00:58There are whispers and gasps from the entire crowd.
01:01:01Cressida is encouraged to keep her head high by Lady Cooper.
01:01:04As they get to the dance floor, Colin informs Penn he's been working on a novel.
01:01:09She offers to help him modify it.
01:01:12Colin tells her he intends to earn her respect and then abruptly stops dancing.
01:01:16Penn and he see Cressida conversing with the Queen.
01:01:19A message from Lady Whistledown is then brought by servants onto the dance floor, and Cressida lets her work speak
01:01:25for itself.
01:01:26It sounds like something written by Penn.
01:01:29Pulling up her glove, Lady Cooper displays ink smears on her arm.
01:01:33She intervened in order to support her daughter.
01:01:36Impressors, looks Queen Charlotte.
01:01:38She says that when Cressida releases a whole issue, they can talk about her prize.
01:01:43Penn then leaves the dance floor with Eloise in tow.
01:01:46So, Colin watches as they both walk away.
01:01:49Eloise freaks out, thinking there will be more controversy at the Bridgertons as a result.
01:01:54Penn swears that she won't allow Cressida go any farther.
01:01:57Before Cressida releases hers, she will release another issue.
01:02:01Penn asserts, Whistledown is power.
01:02:04That night, while she scribbles down a fresh Whistledown page, Penn writes to her publisher.
01:02:09She meets Colin after sending it in to be published.
01:02:12Colin discovers that Lady Whistledown, not Cressida Cooper, is his true fiancée.
01:02:22You find that your carriage driver had abducted?
01:02:25Is it not you who has betold me all of the things if I was undeserving of your...
01:02:31...sobbing?
01:02:34...sobbing?
01:02:34...sobbing?
01:02:35...sobbing?
01:02:36My true identity with stifle-ble houses and Mayfair.
01:02:41Take for example Bridgerton Howe.
01:02:43No.
01:02:44It is Agemen's.
01:02:46Perhaps one ever wondered why so many...
01:02:49...down is here.
01:02:49I feel we already have it.
01:02:52...honating me.
01:02:54What one does out of desperation?
01:02:58Cressida cooper paid a lord Samson this week.
01:03:00Asking for a day off.
01:03:03Except...I suppose, I just...
01:03:05...something I want not to leave.
01:03:18We pick off just where we left off, with Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton discovering
01:03:23that Lady Whistledown is actually Penelope Featherington, Nicola Coughlin. His sense of
01:03:28betrayal is evident, and to be honest, I think this is Newton's greatest work to date. Colin's
01:03:34haughty exterior dissolves to reveal a gentle, sensitive, and vulnerable guy. I adore it.
01:03:41He leaves irrationally. Later on, the ton eats their fictitious Lady Whistledown scandal sheet
01:03:46while Jessica Madsen's character Cressida and Joanna Bobbin's character Lady Cooper watch from
01:03:51their carriage. It is fair to believe that Lady Cooper drafted the letter that was given at the
01:03:55Mondrix Ball. She aims at the Bridgerton family. Ruth Gemmel plays Lady Violet, who reads what she
01:04:02says with disbelief. Will Tilston's Gregory and Florence Hunt's Hyacinth request to read the
01:04:07booklet, but Violet won't expose her kids to such hate. Hannah Dodd's character Francesca stays out
01:04:13of the turmoil and concentrates on her novel. Colin is in full brooding leading man mode as he sleeps
01:04:19in bed. But then something amazing happens. Simultaneously, the real Lady Whistledown publishes
01:04:26her issue. We now see Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuvel and a confused ton holding two leaflets.
01:04:32While reading Penn's leaflet, Lady Agatha Danbury, Ajoa Ando enjoys the DRAMA that is being caused.
01:04:39She is not at fault in my opinion. Penn does her hardest to mitigate the impact of the
01:04:44Cowper scandal sheet and convincingly demonstrates that she is the actual Whistledown, all thanks to
01:04:49Julie Andrews' amazing narration. Cressida is confined to her chamber by Lord Cooper,
01:04:54Dominic Coleman, who informs her that she cannot go until her aunt from Wales comes.
01:05:00Afterwards, Penn goes for a stroll in the park with Mr Finch, Lorne MacDonald, Mr Dankwith,
01:05:05James Foon, Philippa, Harriet Keynes, Prudence, Bessie Carter, and Lady Portia Featherington,
01:05:12Polly Walker. Now that the Cressida fiasco is behind them, Portia is happy. The ton can now
01:05:18concentrate on Penn's upcoming wedding. In the meantime, Benedict, Luke Thompson and Eloise,
01:05:24Claudia and Jesse go approach the Featherington, Finch, Dankwith family arm in arm.
01:05:29Penn's most recent issue has Eloise feeling quite satisfied. Benny moves aside to make room for the
01:05:35ex-best friends. Colin is aware that Penn is Lady Whistledown, as she discloses.
01:05:41Eloise declines to intervene or provide guidance. Eloise has already unintentionally become the focal
01:05:47point of the drama because to Penn's alter persona. Eloise nonetheless wishes Penn success and
01:05:52gives her credit for placing Prudence in her proper place. After that, Violet and Agatha share
01:05:58a cup of tea. Violet expresses her worries about John and Francesca. She's hoping to talk to the
01:06:04Queen for a little while. Agatha advises against doing this for the time being, acknowledging that
01:06:09the Queen is agitated because to the LW business. Agatha is having some sort of trouble, Violet observes.
01:06:15She says that if Agatha needs someone to listen, she's available to help.
01:06:20I've always valued our friendship so much. Colin confronts Eloise regarding Penn in the interim.
01:06:26Is she aware that Penn is Whistledown from the beginning? According to Eloise,
01:06:31she found out about it a year ago. She didn't believe it was newsworthy to share, though.
01:06:36She really prodded Penn to tell Colin more than once. Afterwards, Colin and Penn get back together
01:06:42to talk about the specifics of their wedding. Violet is shown by Portia the location of the
01:06:47wedding breakfast. The mothers see the conflict among their involved offspring. Colin informs Penn
01:06:52that although their marriage would depend on a number of circumstances, he still plans to wed her.
01:06:57They will need to discuss it after the event. Benedict visits Lady Tilly Arnold,
01:07:02Hannah knew in another scene after escaping her dinner party. Like her friendship with Benedict,
01:07:07Tilly admits that her connection with Paul Suarez is informal.
01:07:10A moment between Benedict and himself seemed to Paul like a sign that a threesome was imminent.
01:07:16Benedict is informed by Tilly that love knows no bounds. It is more than just sex, gender, etc.
01:07:22Tilly continues, her staff is extremely discreet. Benedict considers what she said.
01:07:28Violet is then called by Daniel Francis's character, Lord Marcus Anderson. Sitting in her drawing room
01:07:34is the two. He expresses his wish to go farther with her. Violet is also craving that sweet
01:07:39dessert, and she can't get enough of it. Colin is like his mother. Although she expresses her
01:07:45affections to him, she insists that they settle all their differences first. Cressida, meantime,
01:07:51begs her mother to allow her to leave her room. She also criticizes Lady Cooper for treating the
01:07:57Bridgertons unfairly. Cressida has just one loyal friend in Eloise. Where's Eloise now,
01:08:02L.C. wonders? She tells her daughter that she is the only thing she has in this world.
01:08:08Later, Colin's bachelor party at a club is attended by Benedict,
01:08:12Wulmondric, Martin Zimhangbe, Victor Ali's character Lord Kilmartin, and Colin.
01:08:17John makes it clear that Violet doesn't think much of him. Violet, as Benedict and Colin clarify,
01:08:23adores grandiose, audacious gestures. She desires a deep affection for each of her children.
01:08:29They push him to venture outside his comfort zone. John and Will leave, leaving the two
01:08:34Bridgerton brothers to talk. Although Benedict feels something is wrong, he lets Colin process
01:08:40his emotions. Penn is seated at Catherine Drysdale's shop with Madame Delacroix in the meantime.
01:08:46Penn divulges that Colin is aware. She says that although she attempted to give up her column,
01:08:51it was like taking away a part of who she was. Whistledown provides her voice and strength.
01:08:57Benny is sitting in the study at the same moment, gazing at Tilly's calling card.
01:09:01The vehicle's wheels are moving. Penn is leaving the Modishta when they pass each other on the street.
01:09:07They brawl violently outside the store. Penn expresses regret for all the harm her Penn has caused.
01:09:14Colin confronts her for making derogatory comments about him, Marina, and Eloise.
01:09:19Colin questions the sincerity of her remarks on his work, given that she is a well-known scribe in Mayfair.
01:09:25Penn ends this dispute by declaring her love for Colin. They share a kiss. Up against a wall,
01:09:31everything gets hot and heavy until a carriage goes by. Colin makes every effort to keep Penn
01:09:37hidden from curious eyes. Then he bids her farewell and helps her into her carriage.
01:09:42Colin then gets back together with Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, the Viscount and Viscountess Bridgerton.
01:09:48Antony and Kate provide Colin excellent marital counsel.
01:09:51I adore Kate's scenes with Cantony in season 3.
01:09:55Simone Ashley embodies Kate in a captivating way.
01:09:58Agatha talks it over with Marcus the next morning.
01:10:01Marcus expresses regret for preventing her from leaving her forced marriage all those years ago.
01:10:06He acknowledges that when he was just 10 years old, he didn't know anything.
01:10:10He wasn't treated very well by their father either.
01:10:14Marcus feels bad for not opposing him.
01:10:16Fortunately, Agatha acknowledges his apologies.
01:10:19They chuckle before Agatha extends an invitation for him to Colin's wedding.
01:10:24Penn is shown getting ready for her big day in the interim.
01:10:27In other places, a lengthy succession of the Queen's subjects assert that they are aware of the true identity of
01:10:33Lady Whistledown.
01:10:34The possibility that L.W. is not a woman is raised by one man.
01:10:38This causes Queen Charlotte's mind to begin working.
01:10:42Later, a large group of people, including Will and Alice Mondrick, Emma and Naomi, enter the chapel for the wedding.
01:10:49Penn is escorted down the aisle by Portia to a performance of, Yellow, in classical form.
01:10:54Our bride is gorgeous.
01:10:56They exchange vows and the requisite smooch.
01:10:59Even Eloise looks emotional at the display of love.
01:11:02Benedict finds Eloise munching on food alone at the wedding breakfast.
01:11:06The series addresses the loneliness she feels watching everyone she knows getting married.
01:11:11They're setting her up for her season, whenever that may be.
01:11:14Meanwhile, Cressida packs her belongings.
01:11:17A maid arrives with tea, and she asks the maid for help.
01:11:20Kate and Anthony discuss Edwina and her newfound love for the outdoors, thanks to her husband.
01:11:26Kate misses India, prompting Anthony to suggest she give birth to their child there.
01:11:31He wants their kid to know they're a Bridgerton and a Sharma.
01:11:33Kate responds that Violet would be disappointed to miss her grandchild's birth.
01:11:39But ultimately, marriage is about making concessions.
01:11:42I adore Anthony for suggesting this, and I adore this.
01:11:46Here, Cantonese chemistry is just on.
01:11:49Penn, meantime, expresses gratitude to her mother for planning a fantastic wedding breakfast.
01:11:54Although she hasn't had time for her typical interfering,
01:11:57Portia comments that she has sensed tension between Penn and Colin.
01:12:00In the daytime, Penn and Colin get back together for a dance.
01:12:05Penn gets sick of hanging onto the walls, even if it's not a ball.
01:12:09She wants to dance outside with her spouse.
01:12:12Oh no, our newlyweds start dancing to a rendition of
01:12:15You Belong With Me, in the classical style.
01:12:18Others begin to notice and join Poland in the fun.
01:12:21Queen Charlotte, Brimsley, Hugh Sachs, and the Queen's entourage appear out of nowhere.
01:12:27All save the Bridgertons are asked to leave.
01:12:30Penn is convinced to stay by Colin because she is now a Bridgerton.
01:12:33The Queen expresses her opinion that one of them is hiding something here.
01:12:37No one is permitted to leave until one of them confesses, she claims.
01:12:42Penn seemed to be in a panic.
01:12:44Francesca informs Her Majesty that she is engaged to John since she thinks their relationship is a secret.
01:12:50The Queen asserts, nevertheless, that it is not her affair.
01:12:54She thinks Lady Whistledown is one of them.
01:12:57Anthony moves forward and declares that he would have quickly put an end to any covert gossip column if it
01:13:01had been written in his home.
01:13:03The Queen retreats a little but says the remaining LW will fold in good time.
01:13:08Penn then tells Colin that she is Whistledown and that she won't change.
01:13:12Colin says he finds that hard to believe.
01:13:15That evening, he intends to sleep on the sofa.
01:13:18After he leaves, Eloise gives Penn a soothing hug.
01:13:22Later, Paul, Lucas Aurelio and Tilly enter her house as Benedict returns.
01:13:27He is eager to enjoy himself.
01:13:29Before he makes out with Paul, Benedict begins kissing Tilly.
01:13:32I'm relieved that the show has at last verified his bisexuality.
01:13:36In another instance, Cressida goes up to a few printers and demands money for releasing her scandal sheet.
01:13:42One of the boys she talks with says his old employer has connections to the genuine Lady Whistledown.
01:13:48He claims that her hair is red.
01:13:50What more does the boy know about LW? Cressida asks.
01:13:54Yes, she will undoubtedly use this as ammunition against Penn.
01:14:05How did you sleep?
01:14:06To Bridgeton House for breakfast.
01:14:08Oh.
01:14:13Cressida.
01:14:14Whistledown.
01:14:16Thing.
01:14:17Makes perfect sense.
01:14:18Locking key until my aunt arrives to steal me all the Queen's reward.
01:14:21So that I might set up.
01:14:24Miss.
01:14:26I think of how all those she views as enemy.
01:14:28The true Lady Whistledown.
01:14:30Good morning, ladies.
01:14:35Every boy or sisters about me.
01:14:38The seas of our ruin all along.
01:14:40How well he cannot know about this lenious Bishop would grant.
01:14:43I do not wish to lie and to follow.
01:14:49Her Majesty has been quite free.
01:14:51It was no accusation.
01:14:54Will you command her to stop writing?
01:14:57She was someone with power.
01:14:58I don't know who Whistledown is.
01:15:01Bridgerton's third season finale airs, and everyone in the ton is buzzing with excitement over the origin of drama.
01:15:07In, Into the Light, the Lady Whistledown scandal is resolved, and Penn is shown to be a strong, independent woman.
01:15:14It has been amazing to watch her progress.
01:15:16Although she has always been brave and daring, the storyline of this season has given her more faith in her
01:15:22natural skills.
01:15:23Luke Newton's character Colin Bridgerton is shown in the first scene sipping tea in his new home's drawing room.
01:15:29He appears to be deep in contemplation.
01:15:32As an aside, I adore how his appearance is gradually returning to that of the Colin we know and love,
01:15:37this is especially evident in the way he styles his hair.
01:15:41It's not as untamed and free-flowing as his rakish reputation.
01:15:45Colin dozed on the sofa, and Penelope Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlin comes out of their bedroom.
01:15:50Her maid escorts her to another room, where Jessica Madsen's character, Cressida, is waiting.
01:15:56Cressida admits that she is aware that Penn is Lady Whistledown.
01:16:00If Penn gives her enough money, £10,000 should do the trick.
01:16:03She won't say anything more.
01:16:06She'll let everyone know if Penn refuses to give her the money.
01:16:09Polly Walker portraying Lady Portia Featherington arrives.
01:16:13Cressida takes advantage of the chance to tell Portia Penn's secret.
01:16:17Portia can't believe it.
01:16:18She brings up to Penn all the instances in which L.W. denigrated them in those booklets.
01:16:24Every moment they had to fight to make ends meet.
01:16:27Penn is given some time to consider this by Cressida.
01:16:30Following Cressida's departure, Penn receives advice from Portia not to inform Colin about the blackmail.
01:16:36Penn is adamant that she will never longer lie, especially to her spouse.
01:16:41Queen Charlotte, Golda Rosheuvel and Lady Agatha Danbury, a Joa Andoa playing chess in the interim.
01:16:46When the Queen reveals herself as Lady Whistledown, Agatha asks what she intends to do.
01:16:52Put her in a prison cell.
01:16:54Make her cease writing.
01:16:56Her Majesty is aware of Agatha's affection for the Bridgerton family.
01:16:59She will always keep them safe.
01:17:02Agatha speculates that maybe L.W. isn't attempting to outdo the Queen in any way.
01:17:06She gets the impression that Whistledown is actually a vulnerable person who is, grasping at something.
01:17:12Prudence and Mr. Dankwith, Bessie Carter and James Foon and Philippa and Mr. Finch,
01:17:18Harriet Keynes and Lorne MacDonald stroll around the park in another scene.
01:17:22The sisters make the decision that, after becoming moms, they do not wish to disappear from society.
01:17:27They will throw the greatest ball the ton has ever attended in order to stay relevant.
01:17:32Finch and Dankwith exchange tense looks.
01:17:35It will cost a lot of money.
01:17:37Ruth Gemmell's character Lady Violet Bridgerton, Hannah Dodd's character Francesca,
01:17:42and Victor Ali's character Lord Kilmartin, also known as John Sterling, are having tea.
01:17:47They see that because of the Queen's misgivings, people within the store are gazing at them non-stop.
01:17:53Here, John and Francesca express their want for a modest ceremony to take place at the Bridgerton residence.
01:17:59To Violet's dismay, they then intend to relocate to John's estate in the Scottish Highlands.
01:18:04Fran is eager to stay there and enjoy the tranquility.
01:18:08Afterwards, Colin is asked how he's doing by Eloise, Claudia, Jessie.
01:18:13Penn walks into the room with Portia.
01:18:15Colin must be informed about Cressida's attempt at blackmail.
01:18:18Penn tells Portia that Eloise is aware of her identity as Whistledown.
01:18:23Penn claims to have the funds necessary to reimburse Cressida.
01:18:26She has earned a large income from her writing.
01:18:29Colin thinks he ought to speak with Cressida and persuade her to see sense.
01:18:33Furthermore, he doesn't want her to use his wife as a pawn.
01:18:37The next scene shows Paul, Lucas Aurelio, Hannah New's character Lady Tilly Arnold,
01:18:42and Luke Thompson's character Benedict having excess.
01:18:45It's sultry.
01:18:46Then, Colin is welcomed into the house of Lady Cooper, Joanna Bobbin and Cressida.
01:18:51Colin requests some time to spend with Cressida.
01:18:54Lady Cooper grants him a half hour.
01:18:56He asks Cressida to give up on the pursuit of blackmail.
01:19:00He makes an effort to show her compassion.
01:19:03Colin confides in her about his loneliness while travelling.
01:19:06Penn did not reply to his letters, nor did his family.
01:19:09As a result, he tried to adopt a new identity and returned to society.
01:19:14Cressida, though, is indifferent to him.
01:19:17He thinks her father will be happy to see her return to society eventually.
01:19:21He states, a family's love is enduring.
01:19:24In response, Cressida argues that he can say it with ease since his family adores him.
01:19:29She is not entitled to such luxury.
01:19:32Colin swerves and informs her that no one will take her word for it if she tells everyone about Penn.
01:19:37In response, Cressida strikes back, claiming to have a printer's apprentice who will verify her claims.
01:19:44Cressida allows him to pay her till the Dankworth Finch ball.
01:19:47Oh, and she now demands more cash.
01:19:50Varley, Lorraine Ashbourne intervenes in another scene to assist Philippa and Prudence with their ball preparation.
01:19:56Portia is experiencing too much with Cressida.
01:19:59Penn and Eloise appear to be getting along better in the interim.
01:20:02It seems like no time has gone while they converse.
01:20:06Calm down, my heart of Peneloise.
01:20:09Portia and Colin walk in.
01:20:11Colin discloses that Cressida is now requesting £20,000 and that Penn mend the creases in Cressida's reputation in her
01:20:17column.
01:20:18He says he needs Benedict's approval before making such a big purchase.
01:20:23In other news, Benny is still having a blast with Tilly and Paul.
01:20:27Agatha and Violet discuss Fran's relocation to Scotland at the same moment.
01:20:32Agatha then brings up something we read about in Queen Charlotte throughout their talk.
01:20:37Violet's father had an affair with young Agatha.
01:20:39Violet acknowledges that she already knew this and that Agatha is not the target of her animosity.
01:20:45Agatha feels a weight lift from her shoulders.
01:20:47In addition, she supports her brother's courtship of Violet.
01:20:51The women express their gratitude to each other.
01:20:54Above all, their friendship is paramount.
01:20:56This sight is very amazing.
01:20:58After their fun-filled night, Paul, Tilly, and Benny sleep in a heap.
01:21:03They discuss going to balls and how Paul would never be seen dead there.
01:21:07You cowards, let my throughple go to a ball.
01:21:10Subsequently, Colin is seen standing at the bedroom doorway with Penn.
01:21:14When he sees her in her pyjamas, he appears ready to strike.
01:21:18But Colin snatches a blanket to use as a makeshift bed on the couch.
01:21:23Walter Dundas, Edward Bennett then makes his way back to the Featherington residence.
01:21:28He has a suspicion that Portia has not told the truth about what happened with Jack Featherington and how she
01:21:33got her money.
01:21:34Dundas cautions that a more devout family may receive the Featherington title from the crown.
01:21:39Penn approaches her mother once he leaves.
01:21:42She finds it incomprehensible that Portia practically pilfered money from the ton.
01:21:47Penn thinks she and her mother should be better if they both calm down.
01:21:50They have the potential to be better persons.
01:21:54The day of Francesca and John's wedding comes later.
01:21:57Violet approves of her daughter's relocation to Scotland.
01:22:00It's a modest yet intimate ceremony.
01:22:02We see Will and Alice Mondrick, Martin Zim Hangbae and Emma Naomi in addition to the Bridgertons.
01:22:08Following their vows, the delighted couple shares a passionate kiss.
01:22:12John toasts his gorgeous bride and his new family in a most moving way.
01:22:17Violet is asked whether she will dance with Daniel Francis' character,
01:22:20Lord Marcus Anderson, during the Dankworth Finch Gala following the marriage.
01:22:25Observe these two adorable, wild children.
01:22:28God bless them.
01:22:29Violet and Francesca play a piano duet that impresses the tiny audience.
01:22:34Colin is dragged away by Penn.
01:22:36For everything he and his family have done for her, she is appreciative.
01:22:40She now knows how to assert herself and that she can have pleasure beyond her wildest dreams thanks to Colin.
01:22:46He thinks that something will always linger between him if the Cressida situation doesn't get resolved.
01:22:51Penn then addresses a letter to Violet and the Queen.
01:22:54She then hands Varley a large sum of money that she earned from Whistledown.
01:22:58As all of this is going on, Lady Cooper announces that Aunt Joanna is travelling from Wales to pick up
01:23:04Cressida.
01:23:05Right now, it's the only option.
01:23:07When Benedict shows over at Tilly's house, he asks Paul to come along.
01:23:11Paul is with someone else, Tilly discloses.
01:23:14Maybe they should just spend time together, the two of them.
01:23:18Tilly tells Benny how she feels.
01:23:20They had a casual bond at first.
01:23:23She has, nonetheless, recently started to feel things.
01:23:26She's looking for more.
01:23:28According to Benny, Tilly has expanded his horizons.
01:23:31He doesn't want to commit to a single relationship since he has cherished his freedom.
01:23:36Yes, they are making room for Sophie.
01:23:38That evening, Benedict and Eloise enjoy one of their iconic scenes from the nocturnal swing.
01:23:44Eloise shares that she wants to travel the world.
01:23:46She has had enough of trying to fit in and adhere to society.
01:23:50She had better believe she will be the one to transform the world.
01:23:54Benny continues, saying it feels appropriate since what he learns next may completely transform him.
01:24:00Maybe he may be completely changed by someone.
01:24:03The moment for the ball is now.
01:24:05Prudence and Philippa are pleasantly impressed by what Varley created.
01:24:09They find out that Penn used her Whistledown funds to pay for their ball as well.
01:24:13The Queen Brimsley, Hugh Sachs and her entourage arrive in style while everyone is dancing.
01:24:19The Queen announces to the Assembly that Lady Whistledown is present.
01:24:23She gestures for Penn to come forward.
01:24:25Many people are astonished, including her sisters, of course.
01:24:29Penelope offers her heartfelt apologies to all of the attendees at the event.
01:24:33She shares her feelings of helplessness and loneliness prior to taking up a quill.
01:24:38However, Whistledown gave her a voice and agency.
01:24:41She had strength.
01:24:43She swears to speak up in the future on behalf of the voiceless.
01:24:47Everyone is understanding and friendly.
01:24:49Colin looks at his wife with pride.
01:24:52Penn is being studied by Queen Charlotte, who thinks she is remorseful.
01:24:55She makes the decision to permit Penn to carry on writing as long as the quill is only ever used
01:25:00for good.
01:25:02Agatha and Penn eventually communicate after this.
01:25:05Agatha tells Penn how much she's appreciated and that she understood that Penn was Whistledown.
01:25:10She eagerly awaits the upcoming edition.
01:25:12Penn and Portia then had a tender conversation.
01:25:15Portia is happy with her courageous daughter.
01:25:17Both ladies have made significant progress.
01:25:21Polan had a touching moment as well.
01:25:23Colin claims to have come to the realization that she has always been Whistledown after reviewing her letters.
01:25:29Her voice is distinct and powerful.
01:25:31He thinks she's really intelligent.
01:25:33These two are just too adorable.
01:25:35They start dancing on the floor.
01:25:38Eloise suggests that she and Francesca and John go to Scotland in the interim.
01:25:42She promises to give Fran her space.
01:25:44Eloise wants to see more of the world and get a break from London.
01:25:49Fran obliges, and John expresses his excitement.
01:25:52Then, John introduces his cousin, Michaela Sterling, Masali Badazza, to Fran and Eloise.
01:25:58He hopes they'll all get along swimmingly.
01:26:01Fran looks smitten.
01:26:03She's speechless.
01:26:04This makes her reaction after her wedding kiss make sense.
01:26:07Later, we see Polan having sex as Julie Andrews' character Lady Whistledown narrates the last episode.
01:26:14Cressida and her aunt Joanna, Anna Rudden leave London for Wales.
01:26:18Elle bids Fran and John farewell, and Benedict and Eloise say goodbye.
01:26:23Elle talks about Violet's masquerade party, which she says she wouldn't miss anything.
01:26:28Oh, season four will feature Ben Afi.
01:26:31The Bridgerton family observes Eloise, John, and Fran leave for Scotland.
01:26:35The Featherington sisters are shown playing with their individual kids in a charming epilogue.
01:26:41Penn gets a male, therefore her son will inherit the Featherington estate,
01:26:45Philippa and Prudence have daughters.
01:26:47When Colin's novel, Travelling with Myself, is eventually published, Gregory, will tilst and devours it.
01:26:54The grandmothers drool over their offspring.
01:26:56Everything in the world is fine.
01:26:58Colin and Penn plant a tender kiss.
01:27:00The narration of Whistledown finishes with the phrase, goodbye.
01:27:05Rather than Lady Whistledown's signature, Penelope Bridgerton signs the leaflet.
01:27:09An era is coming to an end.
