00:02I think you've probably heard the feedback from the fans already.
00:04People were so excited to see you come back and really you delivered.
00:08But how are you feeling overall now that this is, you know, out there to the world now?
00:12It's been eight months, which was actually harder.
00:15Because I knew I was voted out first eight months ago.
00:20So it's been like this guillotine just hanging over me.
00:23Like I know it's going to happen definitively, but I don't know how it's going to happen.
00:27So I didn't know what the episode when you're out there, you say and do and, you know, dumb stuff
00:34that they could.
00:35And then I look back and I'm like, oh, my gosh, I said that I sounded bitchy.
00:39What if they put that in? What if I sound bitchy? What if I look really dumb?
00:42Like so watching it, it put me at ease.
00:45I mean, I think it captured exactly how I felt from the second we hit the sand.
00:52I felt like there was no connection between anybody, like between me and anybody there.
00:59I truly felt like I have said this, that I was worried about being late to the party.
01:05And the other people were looking around going, she's invited to the party.
01:10Like they had all these connections.
01:13Like everyone else stays in the survivor verse.
01:15Like Christian goes to every survivor event.
01:16Devin's 100 percent.
01:17Devin's holds podcasts for survivors and survivor events like Joe had just gone through the press and met a bunch
01:24of these people at those events.
01:26Plus, I do know for a fact all of them were chatting.
01:29So there was.
01:31I was at a detriment.
01:34That's where the 20 years really was against me.
01:39And it hurts a little bit because you've got Sari that was put with Ozzy.
01:44I mean, they've played together twice.
01:47Emily and Christian.
01:48Christian says in his pregame interview, like, I consider Emily a very good friend.
01:52Not a good friend.
01:54Very good friend.
01:55And I was thinking, wow, it must be nice to go into a social game with a very good friend
02:00or with somebody that you've played twice with.
02:02And then on the other side, Colby and Stephanie's alliance, OG, they were put together.
02:08And I was like, if I had been put with Colby, the only other person I knew, I would at
02:12least have like a touchstone like these two did.
02:16I didn't.
02:17And I had no relationship.
02:18And there was obviously pre-relationships that I couldn't get into.
02:24And especially if you're the first to go to tribal council, they're just trying to find an outlier.
02:29So, yeah, I was playing hard and fast because I was not involved in any of those pregames.
02:35And there were some relationship I was trying to needle into.
02:39And hindsight, do you wish that you pre-gamed and reached out to people before you got out there to
02:44Fiji?
02:45Or was it just no matter what, too little, too late?
02:47Oh, no.
02:48I wish I would have pre-gamed.
02:50Like, because then I would have at least known people.
02:52They would have had a little bit of knowledge of me.
02:55But like I said, three days in, if you have conversations with other people, you're just trying to find the
03:00one person that you can get everyone to agree on.
03:02And I know I did the same thing in the seasons I was on.
03:05You just got to rally people to get behind one vote, right?
03:08And in those first three days, it's very easy to pick the person that you haven't been talking to on
03:14social media and you haven't been, you know, conversing with, hey, are you going?
03:18And side conversations and full-on alliances and being with your very good friend.
03:23Like, you're going to pick the person who's an outlier.
03:26And I do feel like Savannah Joe and I were kind of those outliers.
03:31I was going to ask you, like, was Savannah in the mix to be voted out instead of you?
03:35Because we didn't see that on the show, but you would assume that she's an easy out first.
03:39I didn't bring up Ceri's name first.
03:42I'll kind of give you a little overview of what I learned last night.
03:46Christian, night one or day one, we were kind of done building the shelter and he comes over and we're
03:50just chatting and looking around at everyone kind of a little bit away from the group.
03:53And we were talking like, hey, this is a good tribe, you know?
03:56I didn't think that, but hey, this is a good tribe.
03:58And we were like, I was like, who do you think the threats are?
04:01Of course he is.
04:02Who do you think the threats are?
04:03And he goes, I'm going to go sit by who the threat is.
04:05And Christian goes like this, runs over, sits next to Ceri, comes back over five, six minutes later and is
04:11like, did you see who I sat next to?
04:12I was like, Ceri?
04:14He's like, yes.
04:15And I will literally like have a lawyer present and make him under oath.
04:18He said and did all of this.
04:20And this is day one.
04:21And then he says to me verbatim.
04:24Get that lawyer there at the reunion.
04:25Please do.
04:26Please call him out on it.
04:27Yeah, I'll put a lie detector test on him if he tries to, because obviously he's a good liar.
04:32But he says to me when he comes back, he goes, she's a huge threat.
04:36And if she gets to a tribe swap or merge, she'll be in the wind.
04:40That's exactly how I said she'll be in the wind in his Christian way.
04:44And I was like, oh, OK.
04:45So Christian was on board and I was trying to find any inroad.
04:49And as you guys know, not only is Ceri a huge social threat, but she's a liability.
04:55And until you merge, they are going to be physical challenges and she is going to lose them for that
05:01tribe.
05:02Not just like not help.
05:04She will lose them.
05:05They made it look like it was about two minutes after everyone had gone up the wall that we were
05:10waiting.
05:11Kid you not check with anyone there.
05:13It was 20 minutes that we sat there waiting for her to throw a ball.
05:17Now, you can't have that.
05:20You just can't before merge.
05:22And here's why.
05:22I mean, I was obviously on the chopping block because I was not in any sort of group, but at
05:28any given time, you could be the collateral damage.
05:30So she's going to cause you to go, but you won't necessarily be the one going out.
05:35But it could be you that next time because things do move fast.
05:38So I was like, we need to try to get that person.
05:40And you heard it from Joe and Savannah.
05:42Like they both said in their confessionals, Ceri lost that for us.
05:46It was like Savannah was trying to get across like how long it was.
05:52So her and Joe didn't want to vote me off.
05:55So it's not like they were like in all those alliances, but they also I was trying to pull them
06:01in when we were talking at the water well.
06:03I was trying and Savannah and I had kind of talked about not feeling like where we were.
06:08Talk to Joe and Savannah at the water well, like right before immunity challenge.
06:12And I was like, hey, are we going to try to be on the same page or like what are
06:16you thinking for voting?
06:17Like, do you think like Ceri?
06:19Because I think this is going to go badly.
06:20It went really badly and they just they didn't get any cohesion.
06:25So for these new era players that are playing so fast and so good and they're more strategic and they're
06:31couldn't get it, couldn't get anything together.
06:36Do you think there's an element to it of people don't want to vote Ceri out specifically first because of
06:40the fan reaction or people like I don't want to get her out first.
06:43The fans are like this is season 50.
06:44Like, is there going to be do they fear backlash to knocking Ceri out too early, do you think?
06:50Yeah, maybe they fear backlash.
06:52But I think also Ceri definitely had her hand in a lot of pots before going out there as the
06:59Ponderosa Queen who gets to meet everybody as they come off.
07:03And boy, do survivors like to talk.
07:05I hear about everybody's like I was like, oh, my God, I had no I had no contact with anyone.
07:12And they're all like, oh, well, this person, this person.
07:13So I hear it all.
07:14And she had her hand in all the pots.
07:18And so there's just no getting away from that.
07:21Number one, yes, she's a fan favorite.
07:23And number two, like if if she has a six month head start on me on a social game, I'm
07:28effed.
07:29That's true.
07:30Anyone that you were really bummed to not be on the same starting tribe as?
07:33Colby, look at this.
07:34Ozzy and Ceri.
07:36Ozzy's put there literally to save Ceri.
07:39Yeah, literally.
07:40That's it.
07:40So all five OGs, the real old OGs, I only knew one person like they put Colby and Stephanie together
07:48in an alliance.
07:49Never like fought for each other, actually.
07:51Of course, they're good.
07:52Stephanie spent half the episode talking about how comfortable she felt and how great.
07:56What a gift I would have loved to have been with Colby.
07:59We would have absolutely become just like Stephanie and him.
08:03We would have been an alliance and we would have been able to pull people in, but not not with
08:08the people I was with.
08:09Absolutely not.
08:10I was given zero and they were kind of I kind of felt like I was put on as a
08:15sacrifice to Ceri on that tribe.
08:16Anyone you were surprised from season one or two or the very, very early seasons that didn't make the cut
08:21and wasn't on the season?
08:22When, you know, I was watching the spoilers and stuff online before I was thinking how heavily it was favored
08:28in the new school era.
08:29And I was thinking, are they really going to try to split it up old school, new school?
08:33But I think that there maybe should have been a couple more in those first 10 seasons because I think
08:42they were so big.
08:43Like nobody remembers the 20s.
08:44So that's fine.
08:45But like in those first 10 seasons, I think there were a lot more people that you could have picked
08:50from.

08:55But that's the thing with this season is everyone's so good that it's it feels like a loss.
