U.S. stock futures fell on Friday after a mixed close on Thursday. Futures of major benchmark indices were negative.

Investors are eyeing the publication of January's producer price index data, scheduled to be released before the opening bell. Forecasts from economists suggest that headline wholesale inflation will climb to 0.3% this month, a figure matched by the projected 0.3% rise in core PPI, which strips out the more volatile energy and food sectors.

Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.00%, and the two-year bond was at 3.42%. The CME Group's FedWatch tool‘s projections show markets pricing a 96.1% likelihood of the Federal Reserve leaving the current interest rates unchanged in March.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:SPY) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (NASDAQ:QQQ), which track the S&P 500 index and Nasdaq 100 index, respectively, were lower in premarket on Friday. The SPY was down 0.21% at $687.86, while the QQQ declined 0.12% to $608.52.

00:08all right futures are under pressure ahead of friday's open here s p futures down 0.57
00:14percent dow futures down 0.73 percent and the nasdaq uh down 0.59 so all three indices under
00:22pressure uh spy is currently at 685 the last time that we traded down we really found some support
00:28at 680 so if we continue this slide to the downside 680 would be that first spot that i'd be
00:35looking at
00:36for support and a potential bounce let's take a look at some cues from last session
00:43industrials and financial stocks bucked the overall market trend closing the session higher
00:48even as most s p 500 sectors finished lower consumer discretionary information technology
00:54and communication services stocks recorded the biggest losses investors are eyeing the publication
01:01of january's producer price index data scheduled to be released before the opening bell
01:07forecasts from economists suggest the headline wholesale inflation will climb to three-tenths
01:13this month a figure matched by the projected three-tenth rise in the core ppi which strips
01:18out more volatile energy and food sectors meanwhile the 10-year treasury bond yielded four percent and
01:25the two-year bond was at three point four two percent those crept down a little bit we'll see if
01:28that 10
01:29year can get under four the cme groups fed watch tool projections are now pricing in a 96.1 likelihood
01:35that number's jostling around slightly in the high 90s percent for all intents and purposes we're not
01:41getting a cut in the march meeting the market knows that we know that we know that the market knows
01:45that
01:45and the market knows that we know that the market knows that just in case you were trying to keep
01:49score at home now we have several stocks in focus here for you today and the first one should come
01:54as
01:54no surprise to anyone it is going to be netflix ticker on this one is nflx and it was up
02:018.66 percent
02:02in the pre-market on friday after it walked out of the bidding war against warner brothers discovery
02:07following a higher bid from paramount skydance so the ticker involved in this saga if you will nflx for
02:14netflix wbd for warner brothers discovery and psky for paramount skydance the next stock on our list
02:23is going to be block this is ticker xyz formerly square uh surged 22.28 percent after reporting
02:30inline earnings for the fourth quarter and announcing plans to reduce its workforce by more than 40 percent
02:37now the block eps report they uh report q4 adjusted eps was 65 cents that was in line sales were
02:466.252
02:47billion that missed the 6.275 billion so it's actually a mixed report uh for block slightly
02:54slightly missing on sales but again reducing 40 of their workforce you can go ahead and assume that
03:01that is ai ai productivity uh is responsible for that workforce reduction and block trading higher
03:08by a lot on the back of that the next stock on our list is going to be zscaler this
03:14is ticker zs
03:15and it tumbled 8.62 percent as it slashed full year 26 sales guidance despite better than expected
03:21second quarter financial results uh zscalers print here the q2 adjusted eps was 101 that beat the 90
03:28cent estimate sales were 815.75 million that beat the estimate of 798.816 million uh zscaler raises the
03:37full year 2026 adjusted eps guidance from 378 to uh to 382 to a range of 399 to 402 the
03:45estimate was 381
03:46so that full year guide was actually good it lowers full year 26 sales guidance from 3.69 to 3
03:53.71 to a new
03:54range of 3.3 to 3.32 the estimate here was 3.296 so that one came in a little
04:03soft they see q3 adjusted
04:06eps of 1 to 101 that's versus the 95 cent estimate and they see sales of 834 to 836 million
04:14that's versus
04:15the 831 million estimate so kind of a mixed report there on zscaler but it is tumbling regardless
04:22the next stock on our list is going to be dell technologies the ticker on this one is d e
04:27l l and
04:28it jumped 12.64 after reporting better than expected fourth quarter financial results and issuing full
04:34year 27 guidance above estimates those numbers are as follows q4 adjusted eps of 389 beat the 353
04:40estimate sales of 33.379 billion beat the 31.72 billion estimate so a nice healthy beat there by 2
04:49billion
04:50dell sees q1 gap eps of 255 that was versus the 196 estimate so that number was pretty good too
04:56and dell sees full year 27 gap eps of 1152 versus the 961 estimate so all signs go there dell's
05:04jumping
05:06the last stock on our list is going to be rocket lab ticker rklb this is one that we follow
05:11regularly
05:12here it declined 4.45 percent after it reported fourth quarter results and its lawsuits remained
05:17broadly similar year on year the number for this print rocket labs q4 eps was a nine cent loss that
05:24did beat the 10 cent loss that was estimated by analysts sales came in at 179.652 million that beat
05:31the estimate of 178.47 million rocket lab sees q1 sales of 185 to 200 million that was versus the
05:39estimate
05:39of 184.98 million so uh beat slightly on all of that but man uh still still tumbling a little
05:47bit here
