HDFC Bank Parivartan and S M Sehgal Foundation have partnered for a Focused Development project in district Champawat, Uttarakhand, to promote agricultural livelihoods and secure a better future for rural communities across 50 villages in the district. The Champawat Monal Farmer Producer Company, a remarkable collective of women, has been established under the project to transform agriculture. Farmer Interest Groups from 50 villages give power to this collective. Through innovative water management solutions, sustainable farming practices, and robust training programs, the project is successfully paving the way for a sustainable
future for the communities.
