Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Arvind Kejriwal, on Friday thanked the judiciary after her husband was cleared by the court in the alleged liquor policy case.
Speaking shortly after the verdict, Sunita Kejriwal expressed gratitude to the judges and said the family had endured immense hardship during the legal battle.
“I want to thank the judges,” she said, adding that Arvind Kejriwal has “lived his life with all honesty.”
Targeting the BJP, she alleged that the case was never about corruption but politically motivated. “We faced atrocity. He was put in jail. Tell me, was it about corruption? It was all a lust for power,” she remarked.
