00:00I smoked a flank steak for the first time and it was definitely worth it.
00:03We're going to start with a simple marinade of olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, lime juice, brown sugar,
00:09Dijon mustard, chili flakes, garlic powder, and black pepper.
00:12Just give it a mix and then we can add our flank steak, just make sure both sides are covered,
00:15then pop the lid on and get it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
00:18Normally I'll let mine go for about an hour.
00:21Then it's time to take out the steak, wipe off the marinade, and then we're going to head outside and
00:24get it on the smoker at 225.
00:26Now the cook time is definitely going to vary based on the steak.
00:28I let mine go until the internal hit 125, then I bust out the sear pro and gave it a
00:32nice crust.
00:33Then all we need to do is take it inside and let it rest.
00:36Now this was an American waggy flank steak, so it was juicy as could be.
00:39And as you can see, we nailed that cook.
00:42Definitely give this one a shot.
