00:02Former Harvard University President Larry Summers is resigning from his teaching and
00:06leadership roles at Harvard following the release of emails detailing his association with Jeffrey
00:11Epstein, according to the Wall Street Journal. Summers had already stepped back from roles at
00:16Harvard and other organizations, including the New York Times, Bloomberg, and OpenAI,
00:21and has been on leave from Harvard since November. Summers will retire from his academic and faculty
00:26posts at Harvard at the end of the academic year and remain on leave until then. Summers called his
00:31resignation difficult and said he plans to focus on research, analysis, and commentary as President
