00:00We're in Madrid, because we're here.
00:01We're drinking sangria.
00:02Absolutely.
00:02We're eating patatas bravas.
00:04Okay, yeah, let's go.
00:05Yeah, I think what Bridgerton does so well is that it instills hope in a time that is very, I
00:10think, can feel quite dark and divided right now.
00:13And yes, we do explore class and we do explore the class disparity between the two.
00:19However, despite that, it's about how you overcome it through love and through connection with people.
00:25And I think that is what gives people hope and what people love about Bridgerton.
00:30And that it is about overcoming that societal boundary and it is about taking risk and letting yourself be available
00:37to feel connected with another.
00:40So, yeah, that's what I would say on that matter.
00:43That's a beautiful answer.
00:44Yeah.
00:45So, I don't know.
00:45I mean, I think it's just, yeah, it's, it's, it's.
00:49And also, I think it's a lot about, I think the show and this story particularly is a lot about
00:55our fantasy as well as our experience.
00:58I think, like, it's interesting, you know, like there's who we are in the real world, but there's also this
01:03part of us that is what we imagine ourselves to be.
01:06And I feel particularly passionate about that as an actor because I think, like, acting is literally, it's not just,
01:12you know, we're not all imprisoned in our experience.
01:14And actually, we can only connect as people if we stretch outside our experience a little bit and don't just
01:21sort of say, oh, well, I, I, all I know is just all what I know.
01:24And I do think, yeah, in the political and social discourse at the moment, there's this idea that we're all
01:28retreating into our own identities.
01:32And I think what a lot of this show, this story does is teach us about what happens when you
01:38stretch outside that identity a little bit and just stretch, you know, sort of put things into question a bit
01:44and a bit, you know, like our fantasy and our inner lives is as important as, you know, the actual
01:52reality, you know, real world, I guess.
01:54Yes, I'd love that. Yeah, I'd love that. God.
01:58We're in Madrid. We're in Madrid because we're here. We're drinking sangria.
02:01Absolutely. We're eating patatas bravas. Okay, yeah, let's go.
02:04That is the episode. I'm good with that. It's just everyone eating and exploring the city.
02:11Doesn't that sound like fun? The marriage mart and it's all happening on the streets.
02:15Leave the men in London. Yeah. The girls can come to Spain.
02:20For a girl's trip. Yeah. Sounds great. Netflix.
02:24Shonda. We'll just stay. It's fine. We'll do it now. It's absolutely fine. It's no trouble.
02:31I mean, we'd all have to change clothes because we're not going to be able to be wearing those gowns
02:36in those sorts of temperatures because I think I'd like to send us to Andalusia, I think.
02:43Cordoba. For some reason, I remember visiting Cordoba when I was younger and I remember it's the mosque, isn't it?
02:50Is it a mosque?
02:51That's right. The mosque of Cordoba. Yeah. I mean, it's so beautiful.
02:55I don't know. So, you know, like it definitely has that sort of the nice design, the nice set.
03:01What would happen? I don't know. I mean, maybe we need to... Are telenovelas Spanish? Telenovelas, is that a Spanish
03:09term?
03:09Yeah, maybe. Well, maybe. Oh, I don't know then. Maybe it needs to be Latin America.
03:12I just feel like you could have a season that really leans into... Because I do think, in essence, Bridgerton
03:17does have that sort of telenovela element.
03:19So maybe we need to have a season that really leans into that. I don't know. Yeah.
03:23Last interview, I literally said, well, you know, what would be the next, you know, what would be something they
03:28could use?
03:29I think Rosalia is perfect for it. Yeah. Well, also, all her music videos are very, I mean, it's very
03:34sort of dramatic and performed.
03:36Yeah. I mean, I think, I think definitely great minds think alike, I guess. Let's make it happen. You need
03:42to talk to her.
03:43Possibly. That name pinged and I was like, yes, Rosalia.
03:47There's too many of the last album.
03:51I feel like the titles, I want to, I, yeah, I don't remember the title specifically, but...
03:56Let's do the entire album.
03:58Absolutely.
03:59We'll do just one song per scene.
04:02Yeah.
04:02Yeah.
04:03Yeah. And in fact, I think she should be a character.
04:06She should. Yeah, we should bring her in.
04:08Just get her in.
04:08Yeah.
04:10Yeah.
