00:00In this video, we are building 10 schools all around the world.

00:03Over 200 million children sadly don't have access to a safe school.

00:08So I've decided not only to build schools for these kids,

00:11but also feed them for years,

00:13save them from illegal child labor farms,

00:15and prevent them from drinking infected water.

00:18We don't need to film this.

00:19We got water!

00:20This video will change the lives of tens of thousands of people around the world.

00:26Which brings us to our first school in Ghana.

00:28We built this one?

00:30No, that's the old school.

00:31Do you think I would build that?

00:33You know what that means, Chandler.

00:35Let's tear down this rust bucket of a school.

00:43This school is so dangerous that it was actually ordered by government officials to be torn down.

01:14Now, unlike the last school, this one doesn't need to be torn down.

01:24It's crazy to think that over 250 kids go to school here in these conditions.

01:44And not only do we fix their old classrooms, but we built them two brand new school rooms

01:51that the kids have never seen before.

01:55This is their first time seeing their brand new classrooms.

02:00I was not lying when I said over 250 kids go to school here, and now they have two brand

02:06new classrooms that they can learn in.

02:14So, we are very happy all day.

02:22So, some of these kids have never played with a toy in their entire life, and they are having

02:26so much freaking fun just hanging out and messing around.

02:30Not only will school attendance go up, but they're also going to have way more fun.

02:33I'm so happy we did this project.

02:35The principal told me that those two teachers spend a third of their salary on getting to

02:40work and up to an hour a day driving to this school.

02:43which obviously is very brutal and not sustainable, and why?

03:20And we didn't stop here with these apartments.

03:22When we first got here, I noticed something I just couldn't ignore.

03:27Uh, we don't need to film this.

03:28For over a decade now, this river is where the entire village gets their water from.

03:32And nearly 80% of their population, including kids, have parasitic worms in their intestines.

03:38Which literally breaks my heart.

03:39That's why we drilled them a brand new well, not only for the school, but for the hundreds

03:43of people in the surrounding community.

03:45You know what that is?

03:46That's fresh water!

03:47The schools do not have clean water to drink!

03:50We also built bathrooms so they no longer have to pee and poop in the woods, and we built

03:54sinks over here that gets water from their brand new well.

03:57And we even built a kitchen we are going all out for this school.

04:02This kitchen has everything they'll need to provide school lunches every day.

04:06I wanted to tell you guys, every single school day, for the next five years, we're going

04:11to give all the students a free lunch.

04:13Wow.

04:14I'm short of waste.

04:15I don't even know what to say.

04:19May of 2030, we will give them premiums.

04:24I'm super excited.

04:26I mean, this is great.

04:31For the next five years, they are going to feed all of us

04:37every day.

04:43We are ready!

04:43Shout out to the Rockefeller Foundation for helping us out with such a worthy call.

04:54We actually spent over half a million dollars on this compound right here.

04:59Not including any other schools, just here.

05:01And we're not done.

05:02That figure is going to cost over a million dollars by the end of this year just into

05:06developing this school and the community around it to, you know, better lives of the

05:10kids and the teachers.

05:11The structures we built will impact generations to come.

05:14And it's kind of funny because we built so much here that they actually named me the

05:18chief of development.

05:22You didn't have to go this above and beyond, but thank you.

05:27This is our next school.

05:29And kids, can you please leave?

05:30I need all of you to just get out of here because you see this building we were in is

05:34older than me and the roof could collapse on them while they're just learning, which they

05:38learn here every single day and is completely unacceptable.

05:42So as you can see, we're going to start tearing down this school because I don't want these

05:47kids to be killed while learning.

05:49I mean, that is literally one of the most tragic things that could ever happen.

05:52Which is why we replaced our old school with this brand new two-story school.

05:57With the school now doubled in size, over 300 children can now attend this school that

06:02has eight massive, fully furnished classrooms.

06:05Thank you, Mr. Bean, for caring for our children.

06:11Also, right beside the brand new two-story school, built a well powered by solar panels

06:16with a water storage facility.

06:17And this water isn't just for the school.

06:19It also is for the thousand people that live in this community around here.

06:23We're not here to check boxes and build schools.

06:25We're here to fundamentally change the lives of the communities.

06:27Providing a safe school for these kids means they're not forced into illegal child labor,

06:32which is Feastable's mission and why we pay all our farmers a living income reference

06:36price while auditing and remediating child labor on our farm.

06:40And also why we built schools in 11 different communities for the children of Ghana.

06:45But child labor isn't the only problem we're fixing.

06:48This next school is so run down, it's nearly impossible for the students to learn.

06:52This is what their old classrooms look like.

06:55When it rains, it floods.

06:56Really?

06:57Yeah, and then the water also gets in.

06:58So it's very muddy when it's raining.

07:00So over the next several months, we built them an entirely new school from the crowd up.

07:05The last of the seven classrooms is now done.

07:08Let's see what the kids think.

07:09Come on in!

07:10No joke, none of the teachers have let any of these kids in.

07:13This is the very first time they've ever been inside.

07:16It looks like they're excited for their new classrooms.

07:19They are loving the new school.

07:21This is why we're doing this video.

07:23And we didn't just build them a brand new school,

07:26including providing each of the classrooms a brand new desk.

07:28But also, eight months ago, we built this kitchen for the old school that was here.

07:33And every single school day for the next five years at this school,

07:35we are giving every student free food.

07:38We're gonna need more classrooms, Jim.

07:39There's gonna be more kids wanting food.

07:40But that's why we built seven.

07:42Okay.

07:42We just did that.

07:43Yeah, that makes sense.

07:44Let's go to the next school.

07:45This is a school feeding program that we actually set up a year ago.

07:49And here we are a year later, and the school lunch program is still in effect.

07:53Every single school day, the kids are getting a free school lunch.

07:55And because of our meal program, school attendance has gone up 10% and climbing.

08:00And when I saw the state of these classrooms during that video,

08:02I knew we had to do something.

08:04Which is why, of course, we hooked them up with a brand new school.

08:07And we didn't just build these students one classroom.

08:11Not two classrooms.

08:13Not three classrooms.

08:18We built them ten classrooms.

08:20And all ten of these combined is just one of the ten schools we're building in this video.

08:45If it weren't for the school that we just built,

08:48these kids would go to school every day in fear of their own classroom.

08:52And I'm just so happy that that's no longer an issue these kids have to worry about.

08:55You guys like the new classroom?

08:57Yeah!

08:58I love it!

08:59You guys gotta stay in school.

09:01I built this just for you guys.

09:02But there's so many other students around the world that don't even have a school themselves.

09:06And we're gonna build the first high school this town has ever had.

09:10This entire town has to share one school from middle school all the way through high school.

09:15Their principal is forced to work out of her car and we're here to build them a brand new high

09:20school.

09:21And we start by building each individual wall and linking them together.

09:25I was picturing building schools, I didn't think it would be this.

09:27I thought it'd be like a hammer and a nail or something.

09:30Okay, one wall down.

09:31Wall number two.

09:32Let's go!

09:33There we go.

09:34Wall number three.

09:34This school is coming together very quickly.

09:37Well, that outline.

09:38Still got a poor concrete in there.

09:40We're building nice schools, trust me.

09:42Let's lock it in place and bring in the roof!

09:44Now me and 50 volunteers are just gonna throw the roof on the school.

09:47Some might call it raising the roof.

09:50I'll give it to you, that was good.

09:52Thanks man.

09:52Oh, they're going!

09:53Oh!

09:55Oh, okay.

09:55I'm not even touching it!

09:57No, it's not tall enough.

09:58Yeah, yeah.

10:00Yeah, okay.

10:02So now as you can see we have half the roof.

10:03Now we just gotta do the other side.

10:05We look like we're about to go to war.

10:07Here they come.

10:08Ready?

10:09Oh!

10:09Oh God!

10:11This thing is heavy!

10:12Second roof is up!

10:13We did it!

10:14This next-gen building material will be filled with concrete,

10:18making this school stand strong for generations.

10:21And while the boys began reinforcing the walls with concrete,

10:24I had one more surprise for the most important part of the school.

10:28You're the principal of their old school,

10:30and I heard that for the last decade you've worked out of your car.

10:33Yes.

10:34From my car I have my documents,

10:36because I don't have a private space.

10:37So right next to the brand new school,

10:39we built her her very own office.

10:42It's your new office!

10:44Oh!

10:45Oh!

10:46Oh!

10:49No problem.

10:51No more working out of your car.

10:53You now have a brand new office with your brand new school.

10:56But this school can't be considered complete without one last surprise.

11:00We also made you guys a brand new soccer field!

11:03Go, go, go, go!

11:07Anyways, let's go to real more schools.

11:09And the next schools we're building might be the hardest of them all,

11:12all the way in Ecuador.

11:14Imagine living so far into the jungle that you're left to fend for yourself.

11:18Well, that's the reality for these next two schools.

11:21And because they have no help this far into the rainforest,

11:24we're doing everything it takes to get there.

11:26We had to take two plane rides.

11:28We're now on a three-hour boat ride.

11:30Then we have to off-road for an hour and a half!

11:33And when we arrived, we learned how the rain prevents these kids from learning.

11:37I couldn't give a class when I was able to do it and it was impossible.

11:40Thin roots make it absolutely impossible to hurt anybody in here.

11:44The students, they cannot learn anything without proper conditions.

11:47How high do the waters get?

11:48Because above your needs.

11:49Forget about learning, that's just dangerous.

11:51So we got to replace in the old weathered schools

11:54with two brand new elevated schools

11:56specifically designed to ensure all the students are safe from the rain.

12:00More than 50 kids now are able to come back to school with their better conditions.

12:07And to welcome the hundreds of students these schools will educate over their lifetime,

12:11we replaced their dangerous wooden bridge with a much safer metal bridge.

12:16Now these kids don't have to be in fear every time they go to school.

12:20And now that these kids have a fun place to learn,

12:23we're off to help others do the same all the way in the United States.

12:26Oak Creek Academy is a school for students that have neurodivergent needs.

12:30Try to provide different opportunities for them to grow and excel

12:33in a safe space.

12:34How's it going everybody?

12:36And the best place for this group of students to learn isn't inside the classroom,

12:40but rather outside the school.

12:42Data shows that neurodivergent kids learn better outside in the wilderness

12:46than when they're cramped together inside a room.

12:49Which is why I teamed up with Lowe's to build the perfect learning center for these kids.

12:53Everyone you see wearing red works for Lowe's and is volunteering on their own time

12:57to give these kids a space where they can learn and excel.

13:00How is building this place going to help with the kids?

13:02This place is going to become a new type of environment that they currently don't have

13:05where they have permission to play with nature.

13:07So basically this is like an earthly version of a playground.

13:10Yeah.

13:10In a previous video we talked about how Lowe's wanted to make 10 million square feet of impact.

13:14And they actually crushed their goal.

13:16And this year they're actually committed to over 2,000 projects of impact.

13:19And more than 200,000 volunteer hours nationwide.

13:23Bring in the boys!

13:26I did that on purpose.

13:28Helping people has been a part of Lowe's's DNA for over 100 years.

13:48it was finally time to bring these children to their new classroom.

13:52The kids are just so excited.

13:56and just provides way more opportunities for imagination and creativity.

14:05To a school so overcrowded that hundreds of eager students

14:09don't have enough room to learn.

14:11We do not have our own classrooms.

14:13I mean with over 400 students, how many classrooms do you guys have total?

14:16Six.

14:16Six classrooms?

14:17Six.

14:18Wow.

14:18Okay.

14:19So, we built them this brand new three-story school.

14:23And because many of these kids have to walk over an hour in the dark,

14:27on busy and dangerous roads just to get to school.

14:33We're gifted a bus.

14:35That's right, we bought them their own school bus.

14:38I'm really happy that my students were stationed with girls who come safely.

14:42Alright guys, we're going to your brand new classroom.

14:50They all said we are very excited to go on our new school.

15:08We wouldn't be able to change these kids' lives, the teachers' lives, the entire community's lives were changed because you

15:13guys watched these videos and allowed us to do this.

15:16You're why we can spend over $3 million building these 10 schools, which over time will teach over 18,000

15:24students.

15:24You're why we can build wells to provide fresh drinking water and make it safer to get around with buses

15:30and bridges, helping these communities not just for now, but for generations to come.

15:36I hope this is just the beginning. Like, I have big ambitions and I hope throughout the history of the

15:41Mr. B's channel, we were able to save and change millions more lives.
