00:00As we sing, He is mighty, He is almighty. Christ is God, brother.
00:05Therefore, he is all-powerful, he can do anything.
00:07And we are all here because we have something in common.
00:11We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
00:14That's what attracts us.
00:16Our identity is in Christ Jesus, and therefore, as the Son of God,
00:20We are the people of God, we are here this afternoon.
00:23We didn't come here just to spend some time in a religious setting,
00:28religiosity, so we have things, many things in common.
00:33We are children of God, according to the Scripture, through faith in Christ Jesus.
00:38I want to read you a part of Scripture in John, chapter 1.
00:43It says, in verse 1,
00:45In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
00:51This was in the beginning with God.
00:53All things were made through Him,
00:56And without Him nothing that has been made was made.
00:59In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
01:04The light shines in the darkness,
01:07and the darkness did not prevail against her.
01:10Verse 14 tells us,
01:13And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
01:17And we saw his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
01:21full of grace, and of truth.
01:24Brother, that part of Scripture clearly states that Christ is God,
01:28the divinity of Christ, and is the source of all things.
01:32Physical things and spiritual things tell us,
01:36Among all things, through Him were made,
01:39And without Him nothing that has been made was made.
01:42Nothing, everything you did, Christ as Creator,
01:45Everything was created, and then what it tells us as well,
01:49In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
01:52In Christ is life, He is the source of existence,
01:56And that light came into the world,
01:58And He brought life to us when He brought us out of darkness
02:02that humanity was,
02:04Because He is light through the truth,
02:06through the word of God.
02:08Because that's why they tell us in 14,
02:10And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
02:13And we gave Him glory, glory as a child of the Father,
02:17full of grace and truth.
02:19God is the way, the truth, and the life.
02:21So, Christ, brother,
02:22That's where our identity lies.
02:26We come from Him,
02:28He did not create,
02:29He is the source of life,
02:31And he came and enlightened us,
02:33and aligned us with the truth.
02:35And it says, as the Bible says in Corinthians as well,
02:38that God makes shine
02:40from darkness to light,
02:42And it is He who has made our hearts shine.
02:46So, we decided on the spiritual life
02:48through the truth,
02:50when Christ enlightens us,
02:52And He Himself illuminates our hearts,
02:56And we have the truth.
02:57Well, brother,
02:58to have Jesus,
02:59I want to summarize it like that,
03:00It's having it all.
03:01Amen.
03:02Not having Him,
03:04It's having nothing.
03:05Amen.
03:05It stops us in our tracks.
03:06Christ brings us communion with the Father,
03:10communion with God,
03:12eternal life.
03:13There is no peace in Jesus alone.
03:16And the real and true identity
03:19is in Christ.
03:20Amen.
03:21We live in a society
03:22where there is an identity crisis,
03:25But we have our identity in God,
03:28And that word tells us
03:29that we are created
03:30in his image and likeness,
03:33and that God placed us on earth
03:35to govern it,
03:37for his glory.
03:38And this is our identity,
03:40And Christ is coming to give us.
03:42The devil stole it,
03:43And Christ comes and restores us.
03:46So, brothers,
03:47before the eyes of God
03:49We have a lot of value,
03:51because He gave His Son for us.
03:54Imagine,
03:55When you have your identity in Jesus,
03:57Peace in Jesus,
03:58communion with God,
04:00You have eternal life in Christ.
04:02He tells us
04:02that He is the true bread.
04:06He who eats my flesh
04:08and drink my blood
04:09It has life.
04:10He who does not eat my blood,
04:11He does not drink my blood,
04:13He does not eat my flesh,
04:14It has no life,
04:14Scripture says.
04:16So, brothers,
04:16to have Jesus,
04:18to know Jesus
04:19from the Bible,
04:21to have Him as Lord and Savior,
04:23It is everything.
04:24It is having eternal life.
04:26It is knowing Him.
04:27To have communion with God.
04:30Reclaiming our identity
04:31in Christ Jesus.
04:33So,
04:33We are blessed,
04:35That's what I'm getting at.
04:35In Christ Jesus
04:36We are blessed
04:37as a Son of God.
04:39So,
04:39That must bring
04:40to our hearts
04:41joy,
04:41happiness,
04:42peace,
04:43eternal life.
04:44And after that, brothers,
04:45It compels us to preach
04:46your name,
04:47because we desire out of love
04:49that the rest
04:50I know him too
04:51and that he may know life
04:52who came down from heaven,
04:53as it says here
04:54in Scripture.
04:55And that verb
04:55It has been done here.
04:56And now,
04:57where is?
04:58But I do not live.
04:59and Christ lives in me,
05:01Scripture says.
05:02We are carriers
05:03of the image of God.
05:05Mister,
05:05We give thanks
05:06That afternoon, sir.
05:08We are so grateful
05:09in our hearts, Lord,
05:11for giving us
05:12eternal life.
05:13But you paid a price
05:15on the cross
05:15That's why, Lord.
05:16And we give you thanks.
05:18of all our hearts, Lord.
05:20We are grateful
05:21and we bless Your name.
05:23God, Lord,
05:24I bless all hearts,
05:26And the soul that is here, Lord,
05:28in the name of Your Son.
