00:00The glory of our Lord. Well, brother, sister, we sing about the faithfulness of God.
00:11Why do we sing? Because God is faithful.
00:15We don't sing just for entertainment. God is faithful, and we sing about God's faithfulness.
00:22God is faithful to us. And we often are not.
00:27Well, if God were not merciful and good, none of us would be saved, brother.
00:36Because He sent His Son to die on a cross for us. That is who God is, and we must learn from Him and act accordingly.
00:44The Lord calls us to draw near to Him, not to ritualism.
00:49It calls us to the truth. Not to be ritualistic. We sing what we believe.
00:57God is faithful, as His word says. His absolute word, the truth.
01:01God is faithful, and it's true. God is faithful to us. That's why we sing in all our hearts.
01:07And he is faithful because today he did not bring the Lord here.
01:10And he had mercy on us. And his mercies are new every day.
01:15The Lord is faithful because He has mercy on us every day.
01:18And by the mercy of God we were consumed.
01:23For He is merciful and slow to anger.
01:26So that is our God.
01:27That is why we sing about the greatness of our God.
01:32How beautiful our God is.
01:36How good our God is.
01:38And I'm going to read you a verse, which is chapter 14, which is very well known.
01:45Verse 6, which says,
01:47Jesus said to him,
01:49I am the way, the truth, and the life.
01:54No one has the Father except through me.
01:57Brother, think about what it is in the first place when you hear that word.
02:04Because what the Lord says here is shocking.
02:07It's not just anything; we get used to the word.
02:10But what He says is something big.
02:12I am the way, the truth, and the life.
02:14And speaking in context with the Lord,
02:16He comforted the apostles.
02:18He says, look, I'm going to leave.
02:19I'm going to prepare a place for him.
02:22So that where I am,
02:24Luckily, you're here too.
02:25But he says, you know the way, says the Lord.
02:29You know where I'm going.
02:30And Thomas says to him, we don't know, show us the way.
02:34And the Lord in that context answers him,
02:36I am the way,
02:38truth and life.
02:41"Whoever has seen me has seen the Father," says the Lord.
02:43No, because Thomas, Philip says, show me the Father.
02:47Where is?
02:48Show me the Father and see him now.
02:50But I know that I have been with you for so long, and you ask me to show you the Father.
02:55He who has seen me has seen the Father.
02:57Brother, he who has seen Christ, sees God.
03:01Because He is the only way, as it says here.
03:04I am the way.
03:07He is the way, there is no other way.
03:09It's the only way there is.
03:11It is the gateway to salvation and eternal communion with God.
03:17There is no other way, brother, forgotten one.
03:19He is the only one, says the Lord.
03:21And to realize that in the middle of me,
03:22If I am the truth, then it is the absolute truth, the eternal truth.
03:26It was incarnated.
03:27And that truth, he says, I am the way.
03:30No one comes to the Father through me alone.
03:33No one can come to the Father except through me.
03:36Only through me.
03:37Just for having faith in me.
03:38And it says something, that's life, brother.
03:42One is the source of eternal life.
03:45It is Christ.
03:46Remember what the Scripture says, "Our sin and transgression are dead."
03:50And God gave him life together with Christ.
03:53In other words, he was spiritually dead.
03:56And the only way to have life is to see Christ.
03:58It is having Christ.
03:59It is knowing Christ.
04:01It is being in Christ.
04:02Only he who is in Christ has life.
04:04Because He is eternal life.
04:06They say John 1, right?
04:07And He was the life of men.
04:10In the beginning was the word.
04:12And the word was with God.
04:14And the word was God.
04:15And all things were created through Him.
04:18And that word, brother, became flesh, says the Scripture.
04:22So, that's why I say we're not approaching ritualism.
04:25We are getting closer to the absolute truth.
04:28We are in the truth.
04:29We know the truth.
04:31We have life and we know the way, which is Christ.
04:34Which leads us to eternal communion with the Father.
04:38So, we are blessed, brother.
04:40We are very blessed.
04:41He who sees Christ sees life.
04:43So, we are called to that.
04:44To know Jesus, to be with Jesus, to have communion with Jesus.
04:49Because it is the only path that leads us to God.
04:52In other words, the absolute truth.
04:54He is the light of the world.
04:55He who walks in Christ is not in fear because he has the light of life, brother.
05:01What a blessing.
05:02Those are big words.
05:04The point is that, as we read, they are often more superficial.
05:09When I first read those words, I was stunned.
05:13And I was like, what is it?
05:14He was telling me, but in a serious, almost pointed way.
05:16I mean, how is it possible for a human being to talk like that?
05:20The Lord speaks great words.
05:22So, brother, He is the way, the truth, and the life.
05:27Trust in Christ completely.
05:29He never lets you down.
05:30He is faithful, He is the truth.
05:31You can trust Him completely.
05:33There are many lies in the world because the world is under Satan's control.
05:37But we are, we are, the government of Christ, we are, the government of God.
05:42We are in the light, we know God.
05:44We know the way.
05:46We know where we come from and we know where we are going.
05:49We have eternal life in Christ Jesus.
05:52We are not blind, we can see now, our eyes have been opened.
05:56We see the Father, we see the Son.
05:58We have the Holy Spirit and eternal life in Christ Jesus.
06:02And how can we not be blessed, then?
06:04We are very blessed.
06:06Blessed in Christ.
06:07So, let's see it this way, because that's how it is.
06:11We are blessed in Christ.
06:12Lord, we thank you for this afternoon, Lord.
06:15We thank you, Lord, for blessing us so much, Lord.
06:18And what love, what profound love, Lord.
06:21What a tender love you have for us, Lord.

06:28And we give thanks to you forever and ever for what you did for us, Lord.
