Erika Kirk, veterans and National Guard Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe — who survived a November 2025 shooting in Washington, D.C. — were among the guests at President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday.
During the speech, Trump awarded a Coast Guard rescue swimmer the Legion of Merit for saving more than 100 people during the deadly July 4 flooding in Texas. He also presented 100-year-old Korean War veteran Royce Williams with the Medal of Honor.
