90 Prozent positiv: Staffel 2 des Publikumslieblings Das Haus David startet schon bald bei Prime Video

Eigentlich war die Serie mit dem biblischen Setting nur als Miniserie geplant, doch Das Haus David kam offenbar so gut bei den Zuschauern an, dass Amazon eine 2. Staffel an den Start bringt. Die hat jetzt auch ein Release-Datum.      Während die erste Staffel mit dem aus der Bibel bekannten Kampf David gegen Goliath endet, soll sich die zweite Staffel um den von Gott bestimmten Weg des Schafhirten zum König Israels drehen. David (Micheal Iskander) kehrt nach dem Sieg über die Philister als Held zurück, doch der amtierende König Saul (Ali Suliman) will nicht so einfach die Herrschaft aufgeben.      Staffel 1 flog mehr oder weniger unter dem Radar und die Seite Rotten Tomatoes sammelte lediglich sechs professionelle Rezensionen mit einer Durchschnittswertung von 67 Prozent. Den Zuschauern gefällt diese Serie jedoch deutlich besser und so kommt Das Haus David auf 90 Prozent positive Bewertungen.      Die zweite Staffel des »Game of Thrones mit Bibel-Setting« startet bereits am 27. März 2026 auf Amazon Prime Video .
