Invierno de 1949. En el pequeño pueblo asturiano de Cerralbos de Sella, acaba de morir su vecino más ilustre, el gran escritor Blas Otamendi. Su sobrino Julio, que es profesor en Francia, regresa a su pueblo natal para asistir al entierro. El reencuentro con los viejos amigos de su tío, la antigua criada y la casona familiar de "Llendelabarca", en la que de niño vivió con el escritor, despiertan en Julio recuerdos de la infancia. Winter of 1949. In the small Asturian village of Cerralbos de Sella, its most illustrious resident, the great writer Blas Otamendi, has just died. His nephew Julio, a teacher in France, returns to his hometown to attend the funeral.
