00:00I'm scaring this with you.
00:02I've got this poison pollen on my hands, but I don't know who to murder.
00:08It's not gonna be easy.
00:12Oh, hello!
00:13Does anyone want another cuppa?
00:14Oh, I might grab one in a minute, actually.
00:16I'm gonna come for a cuppa.
00:17Come and have a cuppa.
00:18Bye.
00:20I don't trust any of them.
00:21No, me neither.
00:26Oh, my God.
00:27I definitely trust you.
00:30Well, I trust you.
00:33There's something in the shadows.
00:37Claire's the biggest threat, because she's one of the most intelligent, probably.
00:42Yeah.
00:43I'm really up against the clock.
00:46How am I gonna touch someone's face?
00:52I'm just going to hand out my desserts.
01:04I'm gonna go to the fire pit.
01:06Did he get that thing?
01:07Oh, God, he's out there.
01:08Why isn't he out there?
01:10Now this is nice.
01:11Guys, look, I made us a little...
01:13Oh, it's...
01:13Oh, my God!
01:14Oh, my God!
01:15The French cannon.
01:16Oh, thank you.
01:17Lovely warmth.
01:19I've really...
01:20And again.
01:22Oh, good.
01:24Alan tipped me the wink.
01:26I might have to talk to him about keeping it on the lowdown.
01:30I'm not sure who he's killed yet, but either way, the deed is done.
01:34Look at that.
01:34I've got a button on top of a marshmallow.
01:36Who would have thought of such a delicacy?
01:40There's something in the shadows.
01:48Off I go, my darlings.
01:51And let me pray that I will see you all in the morning.
01:55I'm Telini.
01:56Yeah.
01:56Me.
01:57Me.
01:57Me too.
01:59Yeah.
02:00Oh, God, it's too much.
02:01Um, I hope I'll see you tomorrow.
02:04Yeah, I hope I'll see you too.
02:10I hope they don't kill me.
02:12Yes.
02:13Good night, my love.
02:14Lots of love.
02:15Bye-bye.
02:16Good night, darling.
02:18If I die tonight, goodbye.
02:21I adore you all.
02:22I love you.
02:26I love you.
02:28I love you.
02:29I love you.
02:36With the faithful departed unaware that a murder in plain sight has taken place,
02:41it's time for the traitors to meet to reflect on their first kill.
02:48You're no good.
02:50You're no good.
02:52You're no good.
02:53You're no good.
02:53You're no good.
02:54Baby, you're no good.
02:58Oh, I am a bad person.
03:00Well, what a day.
03:01You're not a bad person.
03:02You're a good traitor.
03:05Who was it?
03:13I'm just going to hand out my desserts.
03:16We'll follow behind.
03:18We'll come soon.
03:19Do you like what I made?
03:19They're beautiful.
03:20I made this earlier.
03:21It looks strange.
03:24You've got a bit of hair in your face.
03:26I'm like that.
03:27Yeah, there you go.
03:28It's gone.
03:29Fabulous, darling.
03:36Oh, no.
03:37Oh, my God.
03:38Lovely.
03:39Paloma Fae.
03:40I feel awful.
03:43I didn't know what else to do.
03:46I've gone and murdered one of my best friends.
03:49I thought, shall I do it?
03:50Because I really like her.
03:52But I thought, I'm never going to get the opportunity.
03:54It broke my heart.
03:56You've got to toughen up.
03:57I don't want to hear any more of this broken heart nonsense.
04:00I know, I know.
04:01What are you?
04:02I'm a traitor.
04:03What are you?
04:03Traitor.
04:04We've got to start enjoying this.
04:05Yeah, we do.
04:06It's going to be hard seeing Paloma's face at breakfast tomorrow.
04:10But Alan has executed that perfectly.
04:15One faithful.
04:16Down.
04:17Well done.
04:27The deed is done.
04:30Last night, the traitors murdered Paloma in plain sight.
04:34However, unbeknownst to the faithful, everyone will turn up to breakfast as the poisonous pollen is yet to take its
04:41deadly effect.
04:42Oh, cinnamon, where you gonna run to?
04:47Oh, cinnamon, where you gonna run to?
04:56Oh, wow.
04:58Are we the first?
04:59We're the first ones.
05:00Oh, I have survived.
05:02This is an incredible feeling.
05:03I did not sleep well last night because I thought I might get killed.
05:06Now I can take a deep sigh of relief and just enjoy the day and study everyone.
05:11Joe and I had shields, but you guys must be feeling amazing.
05:15Oh, God, yeah.
05:16Now you can actually eat.
05:18Yeah.
05:18Because you're relief.
05:19We can, like, breathe now.
05:20It was really scary walking into breakfast because you have to play dumb, but not too dumb.
05:27So it's a real juggling act.
05:29This is all free, right?
05:31Leave a pound.
05:32Charge you later, Joe.
05:33Who do we think might be dead?
05:35So the shields were...
05:37Celia, Joe Marler, you, me, and Jonathan.
05:40We know it won't be.
05:42Come.
05:43Oh, my God.
05:44Hello.
05:44Come in.
05:45Oh, my God.
05:45Oh, my God.
05:45Oh, my God.
05:46Oh, my God.
05:55Good morning.
05:56I was nervous to see if I made it, you know, to breakfast.
06:01You know, it'd be pretty terrible going on an all-inclusive to the Traitor's Castle
06:05and then you don't even get a croissant out of it.
06:08The tension of waiting is just horrendous.
06:13Horrible.
06:14Horrible.
06:15I first go through the door.
06:16Oh, my God.
06:17You're still alive.
06:18You haven't been murdered.
06:19And, of course, I know none of them have been murdered.
06:21But at the minute, I'm just going to carry on what I'm doing, being super friendly,
06:26being a little bit, oh, quite divvery.
06:29I can't wait to be murdered.
06:30Just take that Ming-in photo down.
06:33Why was I staring in the sun?
06:36I think you look strangely sexy in that.
06:38Oh, thank you.
06:39Emphasis on strange.
06:43Who's not here yet?
06:46It's kind of weird at the breakfast because everyone's waiting for the end when they're
06:49going to see that someone's dead.
06:51And, of course, no one's gone.
06:52So, as long as we don't act any differently when the deed has been revealed, I think we're
06:57in the clear.
06:58So, it's actually quite a restful morning.
07:01Ruth, have you got any suspicions?
07:05Nothing solid.
07:06No, no.
07:06Who's in your...
07:07Will I give you a name and you give me a name?
07:10Okay, 3, 2, 1.
07:11Meek.
07:12Who?
07:12Meek.
07:13There's a lot of overacting.
07:16Pretty white.
07:16Meek.
07:17Yeah.
07:17He was really different before and after before he chose the trailer.
07:21He even suspects they could as well.
07:23Do you think that there's a traitor in this room right now?
07:29The law of averages says has to be.
07:31Almost don't look at the door.
07:33Yeah.
07:33Look at whoever goes the loudest.
07:36Oh, my God, it's...
07:37Yeah.
07:38Yeah.
07:40Keep eyes in your mouth.
07:42It's your direct mouth.
07:44Hey.
07:45Oh, man.
07:45So, you have a sneaking up situation.
07:48That's my number one.
07:49It's mainly because of something I saw when we took the eye patches off.
07:54It was an overreaction to the word faithful.
07:57It was a real...
07:59It was that.
08:01Oh!
08:02Oh, hang on.
08:06Yes!
08:08Yes!
08:10Who else?
08:11Who else?
08:11Who else?
08:12Who else?
08:24Who else?
08:25I was so happy and, like, relieved.
08:28It was really nice to see the reaction of everyone who was pleased to see you as well.
08:33And I thought, oh, thank goodness not to be the first one dead.
08:38I'm so happy to see you.
08:40I'm so happy to see you.
08:43I'm so happy to see you.
08:43I didn't avoid eye contact with Paloma because I thought, people are going to be looking for
08:49any sort of changes in behaviours.
08:52So, I just looked at her and I was just like, I'm so happy to see you.
08:57And she was like, I'm so happy to see you.
08:59Oh, God, I'm awful.
09:03Who's missing?
09:04Nick.
09:05Lucy.
09:06Steven.
09:07And then Celia.
09:09Oh, my God.
09:14She's not Celia because she's got a ship.
09:16It's very unlikely to be Steven.
09:18So, it's between Nick and Lucy.
09:19Yeah.
09:20No!
09:21No!
09:22Oh, God, I'm taking this way too seriously.
09:26Oh, my God.
09:26Oh, my God.
09:29Oh, my God.
09:29Oh, my God.
09:30Oh, my God.
09:30Oh, my God.
09:31Oh, my God.
09:33Oh, my God.
09:39Oh, my God.
09:42Oh, my God.
09:44Who are you?
09:44That's everyone.
09:44That's everybody.
09:45That's everybody.
09:46That's everybody.
09:47That's everybody.
09:47Is it?
09:48Yes.
09:53What in the...?
09:54That's all of us.
09:55Oh, thank goodness.
09:57Nick, Nick.
09:58Hey, maybe someone was recruited.
10:01maybe someone's been recruited hello what obviously i've murdered someone in plain sight
10:10and it's a slow working poison so i had to pretend what they're all down here but i thought someone
10:17was murdered what happened it was a stretch for my acting ability i don't know how meryl
10:24street does it no one's been murdered no we're all alive i feel like kate was being a lot louder
10:33than
10:34usual i just i don't i don't know there's something there's something a little bit off
10:39i never thought i'd care this much because everyone was feeling so yeah we were all building
10:44up to this horrible moment here we go here we go order oh gosh
10:55good morning players morning morning claudia everyone is here present and correct
11:03it appears that nobody has died
11:08but appearances can be deceptive
11:15the traitors did strike for the first time
11:25and yesterday they murdered one of you in plain sight
11:30oh no no what in plain sight
11:36what did they do
11:38so whilst the murdered player sits amongst you all
11:46by the end of today's mission they will be dead oh my goodness
11:53so enjoy your breakfast if you can then please put on your morning attire and meet me outside
12:01shortly
12:12that's quite a twist
12:13do you think somebody did something unusual it would have had to have been unusual enough for it to feel
12:20risky wouldn't it
12:32i don't like this
12:34i don't like it at all
12:35do you think we're going to set in here why don't we goodness gracious me
12:42i bet you it's in a chapel
12:44what do you mean oh because of morning
12:46yeah yeah it's not morning attire it's more you know how do you know to mourn it's m-o-u
12:52-r and
12:53claudia didn't say it like that she said wear your morning attire
12:56yeah yeah so it could be but she didn't spell it
12:59no no so how do you know
13:00steven had the same idea and i'll believe steven
13:02because i actually yeah actually fair enough
13:11to actively murder someone you have to give them something or
13:14we need to see who gets murdered
13:16and then work backwards and see what they were doing if they were acting weirdly if they had
13:21or who gave them that glass
13:22oh no i feel bad i feel bad but you know rude jissy roof with the marshmallow and marshmallow she
13:28came
13:28around with the marshmallow well no no that was so that was my idea we just brought it down to
13:34the
13:34fire okay yeah i'm just thinking but you couldn't control who would eat from it i feel like i had
13:40so
13:40little few interactions yesterday that i don't feel like i was got every single thing that happened
13:50jazz that he could have been now nico hugged me goodbye nico hugged you goodbye yeah he was like
13:56oh my one number one suspect but isn't it obvious because that's what his whole career is built on
14:02exactly yeah so maybe it's too obvious you mean i mean what else though what else could it be
14:07i'm not sure of anything and that's what they like to do to us there are so many possibilities of
14:14what murder in plain sight might entail whether it could be to give you a letter or oh have a
14:18look
14:18this book what do you think you know it could be anything you're all right i'm trying to retrieve
14:29myself for the first banishing i think you're okay i don't think anybody thinks i'm a traitor do they
14:35um your name has come up oh shut up no it has jonathan had briefly mentioned that my name had
14:41come
14:42up and i was like what that's a traitor it was um it was a surprise
14:50should we say yeah but people like nico lucy or david could fly under the radar really easily yeah
14:57they're the little sweet ones yeah because you always think of a traitor of being this cunning killer
15:06how are you guys good hello yeah we're good how are you great i love the green oh thank you
15:13it's
15:13beautiful have you noticed anything weird either of you it's so hard to tell at this point because
15:21everyone worked so well together on their mission why have you noticed anything no i'm just retracing
15:26everything that happened but one thing which i am thinking is very smart is now we're all thinking
15:31about this instead of who the traitors are so oh okay who's been murdered well i don't know about you
15:37guys but i am yeah totally oh that's interesting i didn't see it from that perspective yeah oh goodness
15:43fearful stuff fearful stuff oh yeah staring the part there yeah i wonder whether the traitors were
15:56also surprised when the person that they've chosen to murder walked in i wish i was looking at kate's
16:04face actually like oh wait what why are they not dead you know what i mean yeah because it was
16:09straight
16:09away kate went oh there must have been a recruitment like to try and people may think of me as
16:14just an
16:14athlete when actually i like to think of myself as somebody that is very observant and can think
16:19about lots of things all at once the clever ones we wish somebody is dead now i know walking well
16:34not
16:34we can we be dead you can't because you've got a shield and i've got a shield i could i
16:38didn't have
16:39a shield yeah yeah you could be dead i could be dead i'm on the inside please don't don't don't
16:46who do
16:47you trust charlotte i trust yeah no well i don't you see why what she gave up her shield very
16:54quickly
16:55that would be a very good move for a traitor because she doesn't need it anyway can we just say
16:59she is a
16:59very nice person she's adorable but that's the point don't you see yeah yeah yes and she's very
17:04bright and very quick and you have to be i don't trust you you see what i'm sorry joe you're
17:11very
17:12clever you see and you would be a very unlikely choice for a traitor because you're so adorable i know
17:19you do have to watch people very carefully the traitors who are here are being so smart because i
17:26can't really tell i'm beginning to suspect everyone you are right even though you're accusing me but yeah
17:33if you're being really clever you have to go ignore the people you think it might be and go the
17:38other way and then i reckon you've got more chance exactly i know as i'm sat here surrounded by three
17:44i am in my day-to-day life very weak wills i'm a sheep um but in this game i'd
17:53like to put my best
17:54foot forward and hunt down a traitor with um such vigor that it frontens people
18:09with the faithful still speculating about last night's murder in plain sight
18:14the players must now come together for their next mission but for poisoned paloma the end of her time
18:21is drawing near
18:32we came out of the castle to see claudia resplendent on horseback in front of a rather
18:40more worrying sight of three coffins i was just like shocked there's three coffins
18:52joe marlott's not going to get in one of those is he
18:57it's all starting to feel a little bit real we actually have murdered someone
19:05dearly beloved players we are gathered here today to pay our respects to our first murdered faithful
19:14a high profile death deserves a high profile funeral
19:21you might be wondering why there are three coffins all will be made clear
19:27for one of you death is incredibly close
19:32now follow me we're going on a little walk
19:42oh my god it just feels very forbidding macabre morbid desperately gloomy
19:52and we know that at the end of it someone's not coming back with us
20:00wow the heart is erasing i don't usually get nervous i'm starting to get a little bit shaky
20:46oh my god that's really creepy
20:51oh
21:03that was cheery
21:05players
21:07welcome back to the graveyard
21:09oh on day one you dug your own graves
21:15today our first murdered faithful will be laid to rest here
21:22players your mission today is to correctly identify which faithful has been murdered by answering a series
21:31of clues the clues the clues will whittle down the potential victims to three
21:39the murdered faithful and two other players the traitors chose to lie alongside them
21:46just for fun the traitors could have also chosen themselves to lie in the coffins
21:59uh celia kate joe marler joe wilkinson and jonathan you have shields so you are safe
22:11the rest of the rest of the rest of you thoughts and prayers
22:18wow thanks so to clarify you need to solve clues to work out which three players belong in these coffins
22:29for each player you correctly identify i will add three thousand pounds to the prize fund
22:37that means a total of nine thousand pounds is up for grabs today
22:43but each time you request an additional clue money will be deducted
22:51i will now hand over to the choir for the first clue
22:59you chase your goals with all your might until you kicked the bucket out of sight
23:15has any of the actors died because nobody has kicked the bucket means several times
23:21yes yes the bucket out of sight might as in strength yeah but joe's got a
23:27arson yeah but he's got a shield he's got a shield do we want to hear a second clue just
23:34in case
23:34i think we should yeah we're not definitive are we no no my strategy was to act like i didn't
23:41know
23:41the answers and i was as confused as the rest of the group okay here is the second clue but
23:49it does mean
23:50you'll lose 500 pounds
23:57ballot box ballot box oh is it nico oh my goodness it's nico when it came out with the ballot
24:05box
24:06i instantly knew it was nico because he famously uh ran for london mayor oh my god are we agreed
24:15everyone yeah so nico please lie in the coffin first time in a coffin oh no i can think of
24:26nothing
24:27worse than going out on the first murder i just i like now the fear level has gone up even
24:33more my
24:34paranoia is spiraling nico i can tell you that coffin does belong to you
24:41whoo
24:442 500 pounds banked if we put nico into one of the boxes who we know that is heat on
24:53already
24:54then it might be enough for one of them to say his name's come on that's what people are like
24:58they
24:58are second guessing so i think that's a really good and they struggle to trust him because of the
25:03videos that he makes his name has come up a lot nico i'm afraid your time with us may soon
25:12be over
25:14when nico got in that coffin he actually looked quite sad and that made me feel quite bad and a
25:21bit
25:21guilty onto the next coffin you filled the airways with laughter and jest completed your task now it's time to
25:37rest
25:42with laughter and jest alan's got a radio show it's airwaves i did radio too for years i think it
25:49might be me
25:50i've got a podcast and i've done taskmaster oh and i haven't done that i'm task i haven't done the
25:56time i've had a radio 4 series and was on taskmaster it had the word tasking and airwaves and i
26:04thought
26:06could that be me but nick thought it was about him and was your read was the radio show comedy
26:12comedy
26:12yeah should we do second clue i think i think we have to do second clue second clue you would
26:17like a
26:17second clue yeah yeah yeah it's me it's me yeah to my horror the next clue space rocket the apollo
26:2611
26:27was brought out and i was like well that's me
26:35have you made your decision or would you like another clue you've made your decision who do you
26:43think this coffin belongs to mr nick mohammed nick mohammed please
26:51it was horrible getting into the coffin and um yeah i've never got into a coffin before obviously so
26:57it was just quite ominous and surreal if you get this correct you will bank 2500 pounds before i reveal
27:09if you guessed correctly i am going to show you the third clue
27:18what's in it
27:20it's pointing to the yellow
27:23yellow that doesn't happen to me that's the whole of the bird but i've got nothing to do with
27:27the apollo is from home but why a spaceship for lucy beaumont
27:34oh it's me then i wonder if it's i had a show called spaceman
27:42that's is awkward i've played at the apollo it's me so it's hull live at the apollo i was on
27:50taskmaster and i've got a podcast it's too late it's too late nick yeah i can tell you that that
27:57is
27:57not your coffin it is not your time to die yet i'm so sorry the coffin was chosen for lucy
28:13here's something though is it worth putting someone quieter
28:17like who like lucy and then we can just say you are quiet lucy you so far under the radar
28:23yes oh yes i can't really compare the coffin to anything i've experienced before i once fell asleep

28:41any money for this coffin i'm sorry i got it wrong but you've just airways was a bit
28:47no no i'm sorry it's you in the coffin as well we should blame the traitors because they must have
28:52known and they could have stepped forward and steered us we knew that it was meant to be her but
28:56of

31:16i popped you in
31:17that coffin i can now reveal that the third coffin belongs to paloma yeah congratulations you banked
31:29two thousand pounds well done everyone you correctly guessed two players you've won four and a
31:37half thousand pounds for the prize fund but that's horrible though because that means one of the three
31:42are going i was terrified for whoever was getting murdered but there was a part of me that could just
31:48have a little sigh of relief because it wasn't going to be me there is one last question to answer
31:57and it is a big one oh as a group you must now decide who of these three did the
32:09traitors murder in plain
32:12sight oh god if you guess correctly i will give you an extra four thousand pounds once you've decided you
32:24must place this wreath at the foot of their coffin you may start your discussion now okay vote vote put
32:32it to a vote right oh no that's the fairest way to do it we've no clue okay yeah yeah
32:38i think ruth is
32:38right we should yeah okay hands up for paloma i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place obviously i
32:47know
32:47the answer is paloma but if i say it's paloma then i'm gonna have heat on me
32:56one okay hands up for lucy
33:02there's no point in taking a vote for nico
33:07i think it's me though i do tell me who you're locking in lucy lucy
33:18thank you mark
33:21according to you lucy has been murdered by the traitors if you are right four thousand pounds will be added
33:29to the prize pot to the prize pot but have you guessed the murder victim correctly
33:38we are about to find out
33:47this is really sad
33:49it's really sad
33:49it's really sad
34:10it's really sad
34:19Oh, Paloma, you were right.
34:22That is flabbergasting.
34:28It was Paloma.
34:33Bye-bye, Paloma.
34:35Bye-bye, Paloma.
34:40Paloma is dead.
34:42Rest in peace.
34:46We love you, Paloma.
34:51I thought I wasn't going to get emotional, but I feel really sad.
34:58Oh, my God.
35:00Goodbye, sweet Paloma.
35:02It's been really a wonderful experience.
35:05I just wish it had been longer, but I guess that just leaves me to say that this is now
35:11goodbye.
35:13And they could never tear us apart.
35:18I'm feeling really sad, actually.
35:21Truthfully, she was such a joy.
35:25Our sunshine's gone.
35:26Would anybody like to say a few words?
35:30Alan, you knew her the best. Why don't you say something about her?
35:34Yeah.
35:34Oh, well, I think we're all going to miss her, really.
35:39The biggest irony is, for someone who was so full of life, and then to end like this, it just
35:44doesn't feel fitting.
35:46And I think we're going to miss her.
35:48And we will avenge her death.
35:51We're going to get some traitors, aren't we?
35:53Yes, we are.
35:55It's been a dramatic day.
35:57I have to tell you, it might also be a dramatic night.
36:03Now I'll get back to the castle.
36:06I'll see you later.
36:10Paloma, I'm sorry we killed you.
36:13It was absolutely nothing personal.
36:16For you, it was wrong time, wrong place, wrong game.
36:31You, Alan, were really close to Paloma.
36:33Yeah.
36:34So how are you feeling?
36:35We really did have a bond.
36:36And obviously, you know, I hate goodbyes at the best of time.
36:39But what a goodbye, you know?
36:42I think Paloma's murder has thrown everyone off my scent.
36:46I'm getting a lot of sympathy.
36:48Are you all right?
36:49I know Paloma was close to you.
36:52Paloma's murder's my shield.
36:53Because people are just saying, oh, Alan wouldn't do that to his good friend.
36:59If you were a traitor, right, who's the least likely person to have killed Paloma?
37:04Someone she's close to.
37:05Yeah.
37:06Oh, you're talking about Alan?
37:07I'm talking about Alan.
37:09So you're suspicious of Alan right now?
37:10I'm just saying, that's the least likely person to have killed her.
37:14But it's also, therefore, something you have to consider.
37:17Yeah.
37:18If a traitor's name comes up, I will defend them as much as I can.
37:22But not to my own detriment.
37:28Any thoughts?
37:30I hate to say it, but I think Claire and Kate.
37:34Claire?
37:36Let me tell you about Kate.
37:37I feel Kate is a traitor.
37:39Really?
37:39Kate's a traitor.
37:40I see it and I feel it.
37:43I watched everybody to see people's reactions.
37:47The person that I had in my head was Tamika.
37:51Oh, that's interesting.
37:53Tamika and Kate both sort of did a, oh, you know, thing.
37:57I'd already started my narrative about Tamika.
38:00So I thought, well, that fits, that fits.
38:04I just don't think I'm going to go.
38:06First?
38:07No, to the round table.
38:08Oh.
38:09I'm going to hide under the round table.
38:16There's 18 of us now.
38:19Oh, dear.
38:21My gosh.
38:23Let's go in the library or the bar?
38:27Maybe in the bar.
38:30Oh, Paloma.
38:32Yeah.
38:33It was really shocking, wasn't it?
38:35It was.
38:36I feel like I have to defend myself properly now because I think there's now a lot of eyes on
38:43me.
38:43Yeah.
38:43Which is, the one thing which the traitors will do is plant seeds.
38:49Whoever is being brought up into the conversations continuously, that's probably the traitors who have done that.
38:57Who can we put in the coffin who everyone's going to look at?
39:01Yeah.
39:01And then I feel like that's where I was then put forward, which is a bit of a problem.
39:05But I think everyone's on tenderhooks.
39:08You think?
39:08Yes, I do.
39:11Yeah, we'll see.
39:16Oh, I just noticed that they've already crossed out her face.
39:21Oh, my God, they have.
39:23That makes you final.
39:24Oh, that's awesome.
39:26It'll be weird now without her.
39:29Yeah.
39:30Weirdest of all for Alan.
39:32Yeah.
39:33He's lost his buddy.
39:34Taking out someone as big and loud and wonderful as Paloma, that's a bold move.
39:40And obviously, Paloma and Alan, I mean, they are, like, best mates.
39:43But could it be Alan?
39:45Could Alan have actually done in Paloma, straight off, sent her home, knowing that nobody would ever think he would
39:53do that?
39:58Let's go down the road that they have picked one of themselves to go in.
40:02It wasn't Paloma.
40:04I just can't see Lucy putting herself through that.
40:07No.
40:07OK, but that doesn't mean Nico is.
40:08It just means that if we were going down that route, you would choose.
40:12He's very worried now.
40:13Who, Nico, because of that?
40:15He's very worried.
40:16Now he's done a very good convincing on me that he absolutely isn't.
40:21I do think putting yourself in the coffin is a bit nuts at this point.
40:26He does draw attention to himself.
40:28Yeah.
40:28That's what he thought.
40:29Yeah.
40:29And he thought...
40:30And he has a point.
40:31If I was a traitor, I wouldn't put myself in the...
40:35Because you've got to keep a low under the radar.
40:37You just want to be in the mellow, personally.
40:41I don't think Nico is a traitor.
40:43I'm looking at someone who hasn't really been accused yet.
40:47So I've narrowed it down to myself or Tom.
40:50I'm leaning towards Tom.
40:52His sweetness and light...
40:53Well, he's diving, isn't he?
40:56But imagine that, callously picking us off.
41:00I'd watch that.
41:09Hello, guys.
41:11The thing is...
41:11Ring for one more.
41:12Yeah, absolutely.
41:13Come and take a seat.
41:14Pick the traitors off one by one.
41:17That's what you've got to do.
41:18Lure them into a false sense of security and then bang.
41:20Get them.
41:21Yeah.
41:22How are we feeling?
41:23Pretty good.
41:24I want to avenge Paloma's death.
41:26Yeah.
41:26Yeah.
41:27What's your feeling with Nico?
41:29I personally...
41:30I don't feel like he's a traitor.
41:35I sort of was looking at people who would kind of be like overcompensating
41:41and being super like exaggerated with just their responses to things.
41:46Go on.
41:48Well, like Kate, for example.
41:51I said Kate.
41:52Oh, my gosh, I'm flabbergasted.
41:55Who uses that word?
41:57You can't just call someone a traitor because they have a better vocabulary than you.
42:04Flabbergasted is like saying whoops-a-daisy, is it not?
42:07You know when you just get a vibe from someone?
42:10I do think the round table might be a bit intense.
42:14I don't feel like I'm going to have a problem writing a name on a board.
42:19I'll keep Paloma in my heart.
42:20Mm-hmm.
42:21Let's do it for her.
42:22Yeah, absolutely.
42:32It's been a traumatic day as we laid poor Paloma to rest.
42:37But now it's time for the faithful to avenge her murder
42:41as they gather at the round table and start the eternal debate.
42:46Who is a traitor?
42:48Get comfy.
42:49It's time for the first banishment.
42:55Heading into the round table, my heart is just in my mouth, to be honest.
42:59We've just seen Paloma murdered.
43:03No one expected that.
43:04So now you're thinking anyone could go.
43:10People are coming for me.
43:11There's no doubt about that.
43:13But if you think I'm not ready for it, you lost your mind.
43:16I have no idea in which direction this round table is going to go.
43:20When it's the first banishment, you have to make a decision based off so little data.
43:24So I just have to stick with what I think and hope that no one comes for me.
43:30My game plan at the moment, especially around the round table,
43:33is to just lay low, stay quiet, just kind of fly under the radar.
43:40We know how ruthless they are, these dastardly traitors.
43:45They're clever, so we've got to find them.
43:56Players, welcome back to the round table.
44:00And your first banishment.
44:02And your first banishment.
44:04Congratulations.
44:06After today, your prize fund currently stands at £19,500.
44:14Here's the thing.
44:17One of the skills you need to be good at this game is to know when somebody is lying to
44:23you.
44:25You are famous.
44:27People lie to you all the time.
44:34I love that show.
44:36It's a great jacket.
44:41I listen to that particular podcast twice.
44:47Lies.
44:49So how on earth are you going to tell if somebody is lying to you?
44:56Let me tell you how this works.
44:59Whoever receives the most votes will be banished and will reveal if they're a traitor or a faithful as they
45:08leave the castle.
45:12So then, players, for the first time, the floor is yours.
45:26Can I start just by reiterating that we have to write a name down and we have very little to
45:33go on.
45:33And that whatever name we write down, it isn't because we dislike someone or we think they should leave the
45:39game.
45:39The greatest detective there ever was, Sherlock Holmes, said, it is a cardinal error to theorise without data.
45:48And we have almost no data to go on.
45:52We are, as Corley said, going on instinct.
45:56I'm going to ask a question which sounds a bit sidebar.
45:59But a couple of people have mentioned that my name has cropped up, right, in conversations.
46:04If anybody has been part of those conversations, can you say what came up?
46:09Because I feel like then that might help us to understand what people are thinking of.
46:14I mentioned your name.
46:16Why did you think that?
46:18Because I think in, I'll say the mission today specifically.
46:24OK.
46:24I didn't know whether your sort of larger response to Paloma's coffin being closed was an overcompensation
46:35or whether it was a genuine sort of fear.
46:40First of all, I'm a massive ham.
46:43That's the first thing.
46:44So my reactions are always massively over the top about everything.
46:48But genuinely, I was flabbergasted.
46:51And I'll end up as well.
46:53Exactly the same thing.
46:54When we were here and we took the masks off.
46:57Yeah.
46:57The overreaction wasn't to the word traitor from you.
47:01It was to the word faithful.
47:02When you went faithful.
47:04But it's exactly the same thing.
47:06It's the ham.
47:08It's the ham.
47:08I am a ham.
47:09I'm terrible ham.
47:10Yeah.
47:11I just have a question.
47:13When we were doing the challenge, a lot of people were very forthcoming with their shields
47:19and stuff.
47:19I just didn't, maybe I didn't hear you, but I didn't notice you once offered up.
47:25I didn't know that Charlotte offered it.
47:28That's how out of it I was.
47:29I actually didn't know you'd given it up.
47:31I was in a blur.
47:32But also, isn't that evidence I'm a faithful?
47:34It means that I was more keen to hang on to the shield.
47:39One thing we might consider, of course, is that Claudia asked us all whether we wanted
47:43to be faithfuls or traitors.
47:46We might consider amongst ourselves who we think is the kind of person who would say,
47:49yeah, I'd love to be a traitor.
47:52On that basis, I felt, and don't take this personally, that Nico was the kind of person
47:56who might say, I'd love to be a traitor.
47:59Okay, well, I'm actually glad that I've got this opportunity to speak and defend myself.
48:03First off, I am a faithful.
48:04I actually asked to be a faithful as well.
48:06But what I will say is today, obviously, rest in peace to Paloma, but I believe that
48:13I've been set up.
48:15I believe that when the traitors met up, they were like, well, let's put Nico forward
48:20because Nico has come up in conversation.
48:23And if he's in there, he's going to get brought up at the table.
48:27It's going to be a reason that's used against me.
48:28But with that being said, does anyone have any rebuttal as to why I would, as a traitor,
48:35put myself into the coffin where everyone's eyes would be on me?
48:40I think there's a case of double and triple bluffs here.
48:43Yeah.
48:44I mean, and there's other reasons that I've been also thinking about you, Nico, and one
48:48of them being at the round table before and after you had an impeccable poker face.
48:54Yeah.
48:55And you were, like, completely expressionless.
48:58And that made me wonder.
49:01Nico, can I add something?
49:02Because, first of all, I really like you and I really admire you as well.
49:05But I also was someone who wrote your name earlier on for the same reason that Charlotte's
49:09just said.
49:10And I thought there was a change in your behavior.
49:12That's why I thought there was a chance.
49:13And that's why I am one of the people who did mention your name.
49:16All I can say, because if I am a traitor, why would I put myself into a coffin?
49:22It doesn't make any sense at all.
49:24It does feel risky.
49:26Extremely risky.
49:27It does feel risky.
49:27And I think, like...
49:28I mean, the proof of that is in the fact that we're all talking about it.
49:32Exactly.
49:33Yeah.
49:34Just actually in Nico's defense, as far as, you know, being a traitor is concerned,
49:40that jars in my head.
49:41The changes in behavior that I've noticed for the person that I've observed over the
49:47last two days, and it's really hard, and I'm sorry, but Tameka, when we came out of here
49:55the other night, after the traitors had been chosen, I thought I sensed a real change in
50:00your behavior.
50:02You seemed quite withdrawn, jittery.
50:05And then today, I watched when Claudia was pacing up and down those coffins before she
50:12slammed Paloma's lid shut.
50:14I didn't want to watch that.
50:16I wanted to watch the crowd to see everybody's reaction.
50:20Your reaction didn't ring true for me.
50:22It was over the top.
50:25Today, I was really shocked because I thought it was you, Lucy, and I really didn't want
50:29it to be you.
50:30So when Claudia shut the coffin on Paloma, I was generally shocked, and then I was just
50:37trying to just think my way through it.
50:39And I actually noticed you walk away and was looking back, because it was almost as if you
50:46were looking at, that's happening over there, but what are other people looking at?
50:50You separated yourself to look at everybody else on that.
50:55Because I want to know who the traitors are.
50:57But it's very interesting that you're talking about people's, you know, looking different.
51:02I felt after the selection, I felt that yourself, Kate, had changed.
51:10Really?
51:11Yeah, I'm sorry.
51:14I absolutely promise you I'm a faithful.
51:18Let's imagine that we were traitors.
51:22What would inspire us to choose Paloma as our first victim?
51:26Well, Paloma's own theory was that she was such a big character.
51:28Yes.
51:29It was a way of shocking.
51:31Would you have said, let's get Paloma because she's a big character?
51:34I don't think I would.
51:35I think I would have done something more closer to what Nicola was describing.
51:38I would have worked out who the heat was on in the first day and think who would easily
51:45be banished.
51:46It's a cruel touch of genius there.
51:49It is.
51:49I actually have a question for Alan.
51:53You would have talked to Paloma the most.
51:56Yes.
51:56Was there anyone that she kind of openly suspected?
51:59She had two names.
52:01And I couldn't get them out.
52:03She went, if I die, there's two names.
52:08Next thing you know, she's shoved in her coffin and the thing's gone.
52:13It was very frustrating.
52:16Can I say something?
52:18I've hung...
52:18We've hung around quite a lot.
52:20And you've been really nervous about being...
52:24Murdered.
52:25Murdered.
52:25Yeah.
52:26So I personally don't think it's you.
52:29Who do you think it is, then?
52:31All right, this hurts, but I was worried about Tom.
52:36Only because I was...
52:38When I started this, I thought, who would I think would...
52:42I'll be honest, this is probably going to backfire,
52:44but I thought you and Paloma are the two people
52:47if I was in control of this thing.
52:50And that's the only reason I think it's you.
52:52I've had no other proof.
52:54Like, Nico's come up a lot, and I don't believe what's been put in front of me.
53:01I feel like the evidence which I've given makes it quite clear that it's not me.
53:05I personally believe that the decision is up to you, and I respect that.
53:09But if you do not think it's me, do not vote for me, because you could be killed next.
53:16Oh, God.
53:17Players, the time for talk is now over.
53:20Oh, hell.
53:21Oh, God.
53:23Please write down the name of the person you believe is a traitor.
53:32This is awful.
53:51Are your names locked in?
53:53Yeah.
53:53Yeah.
53:55Ruth, we'll start with you.
53:58Who do you believe is a traitor, and why?
54:01I vote it for Kate.
54:04I just found that your behaviour changed and became slightly more animated any time traitor talk came about.
54:15Tameka.
54:16I have voted for you, Kate.
54:21I'm just going by how you were reacting.
54:26Alan.
54:27I'm going for Nico.
54:29I've got to go for my friend, who I lost today.
54:35Mark.
54:36I'm sorry, Tameka, but I'm going for you.
54:39Just inconsistencies in behaviour and overcompensation.
54:44Enemy.
54:44Yeah.
54:46Nico.
54:46I've gone for Tom Daley.
54:49The UK's golden boy might have a good traitor streak about him.
54:54You could have definitely pulled off the whole master plan of setting me up.
54:59So, a vote count.
55:02Two for Kate, one for Nico, one for Tameka, and one for Tom.
55:09Kate, who do you believe is a traitor and why?
55:12I'm going to go for Tameka, because I was very convinced by Nico that it wasn't Nico.
55:21Joe Marlow.
55:22Didn't have a lot to go on, didn't have a lot to go on, so I went with my gut.
55:26Nico.
55:29Lucy.
55:30I kept scribbling names out, and Nico, I've wrote your name down.
55:36It's awful.
55:37It's awful.
55:40Kat.
55:41Um, I vote for you, Kate.
55:44It just felt like in the mission today, more sort of loudness could have been an overcompensation.
55:51So, a vote count.
55:54Three for Kate.
55:56Three for Nico.
55:58Two for Tameka.
55:59One for Tom.
56:03I'm very nervous.
56:05The reality that I might be gone at the first round table is starting to set in.
56:13My biggest fear, I could be out the game.
56:17They've got it so wrong.
56:19This could go any way.
56:22Stephen, who do you believe is a traitor and why?
