In this sharp economic breakdown, we tackle the growing frustration within the middle class and pinpoint exactly where the blame should lie. While it's easy to point fingers at the ultra-wealthy, this video argues that the "grinding out" of the middle class is a direct result of government policy, not the individuals who simply follow the rules written for them.

The Middle Class Squeeze
We look at the reality of "regular people" working hard yet struggling to stay afloat in 2026. The narrative often shifts toward "taxing the rich" as a solution, but we analyze why this is a distraction from the core issue: the government enacting policies that create these disparities in the first place.

The Loophole Logic
Referencing the famous debate moment where Donald Trump admitted to using the same tax loopholes as major political donors, we explore the reality of the tax code. If a system is built with legal exits, you would be "stupid not to" use them. We discuss the ethical and financial responsibility of every individual—rich or otherwise—to pay the minimum amount of tax required by law.

Who Really Writes the Rules?
This segment focuses on the distinction between the "players" and the "game-makers." Wealthy individuals take advantage of the environment provided to them. If you want to change the outcome, you have to change the policy, not just hate the people playing the hand they were dealt. We break down why financial literacy starts with understanding that your job is to operate legally within the bounds of the law to protect your own capital.

Transcript: Lots of friends who are just regular people, good people with regular jobs who are struggling. So it is a very easy message to send to these people. And while I agree we are seeing a kind of grinding out of the middle class, I think the blame is pointed to the wrong people. The blame should be pointed to the government because they're the ones enacting these policies. It's the rich people who just take advantage of the policies. The reason the tax codes are the way they are is not because of the rich. Donald Trump famously said this in a debate with Hillary and he said, "I take advantage of all the tax loopholes that all your donors do because they're there and I would be stupid not to." And he was 100 percent right. It is your job to pay as little tax as possible within the bounds of the law.
