00:00Obviously bitterly disappointed not to win the game, but massive pride in the group.
00:05And again, I know it's not what we've spoken about, where we want to go to as a team,
00:09I think that was a step in the right direction, but ultimately the focus on us is we've got to
00:13be better next time.
00:14I think there was lots to like about the game, I thought how we attacked the game in the first
00:19half was excellent
00:20and I think there were more of what we want to see as a group, but ultimately we are bitterly
00:26disappointed.
00:27And for me as a coach, the coach in this team, I'm just devastated for them.
00:31Also, and I'd like to say the support today was incredible, I thought the anthem, I thought everything,
00:38I know there's lots of questions asked around how much crowd we get and things like that,
00:43but I thought they were unbelievable and that's not just me feeling it,
00:46I know a lot of others in the other changing rooms felt it, the players, I thought, give them something
00:52to cheer about,
00:53but I think they also got behind the team and ultimately I think it's a snapshot of what we want
01:01to be.
01:01It's a tough feeling because you know the performance was there, the things we spoke about working on throughout the
01:10week we delivered,
01:12I think that first half we were dominant, we applied pressure, we attacked them and I think we've spoken a
01:22lot about staying in moments
01:25and we probably didn't do that for the full 80, which is why the scoreboard has gone against us.
01:31Test match rugby, you need to make people work for their opportunities, which we didn't feel we did at that
01:36moment,
01:36especially going to extend the lead, that ultimately is bitterly disappointing and again, that brings Scotland, it gives them energy,
01:45whereas if it's just a kick-off or we're set to play, then not only they don't score, it just
01:51takes up minutes on the clock as well.
01:53So yeah, it's another harsh lesson in some of the games and again, in high-class sport we can knock
02:01off and like Dewey said,
02:02I thought we backed up more moments in the game.
02:04We had a good week training and yeah, just that good start, building momentum and yeah, it was really good
02:12wasn't it,
02:12just getting the crowd nice and loud, that definitely gave us a boost, it gave me a boost anyway.
02:19So yeah, I think just that first start, building the momentum, sort of good result after good result and yeah,
02:27it was definitely helped by the crowd.
02:30Tough obviously, we started off really well and that's what we were able to do, so to stick to that
02:36and do that and then obviously not to get the result.
02:38It was tough, the fact that it hurts is probably a good thing, shows we were in it to the
02:43last minute, so yeah,
02:44there's a lot of positive take from it and obviously we've got work months from it as well.
02:48We've got to stay on, I know that seems quite a simple thing, but yeah, maybe haven't had much experience
02:57being in those situations.
