00:26To be continued
00:36Hey what's up guys, it's TriStar Pictures82 back again and for this video I'm going to
00:41be doing my entire media home entertainment VHS collection.
00:45Now I've been planning to do this video for months and months, however I hadn't got the
00:51chance to do this mainly because I was either extremely busy or I was still getting a hold
00:58of these tapes at the moment so I hadn't got a chance to do this media home entertainment
01:04VHS collection video as I promised but anyways I'm now able to show you guys all my media collection
01:13as of now so yep.
01:15Now I remember this one YouTube user by the name of Sefero355.
01:20He did his own media home entertainment VHS collection video back in April 2012 in which
01:27he had some pretty cool media titles on VHS and I wouldn't make this video a response
01:35to his video but unfortunately YouTube removed the video response feature which sucks but
01:43oh well.
01:45Alright well anyways I'm going to go ahead and show off all my media home entertainment VHS
01:50tapes.
01:51Now first off I have right here is the 1979 Meta Media Home Entertainment VHS release for the
02:011976 film Tunnel Vision so um yeah this is one of the very first media home entertainment VHS
02:09releases which are under the name Meta Media Home Entertainment in which Meta was the name of
02:16the company's founder um Charles Band's wife at the time so um yeah they used Meta's name
02:22from 1978 till 1980 when Charles Band left the company and they dropped Meta's name out of the
02:31company's label and just called it Media Home Entertainment so um yeah but anyways I'm pretty
02:37lucky to own one of these original Meta tapes since these are hard to find so um yeah but at
02:44the time um
02:45Meta also released a couple of other films onto VHS such as um John Carpenter's Halloween in which
02:54every VHS collector is like raving over that tape since you know the original um Meta release for
03:01Halloween is extremely rare and whenever it does pop up on eBay or Amazon it goes for like ridiculous
03:09amount of money so um yeah other than that they also release other films such as um Night of the
03:17Living Dead uh Laser Blast the x-rated Alice in Wonderland from 1976 uh Flesh Gordon Nocturna as well as
03:28a bunch of um rock
03:29concerts and whatnot so um yeah but anyways there's the front of the VHS cover for Tunnel Vision
03:38and there's the side and there's the back and yes this tape does contain the um very first
03:48Media Home Entertainment logo which has the um Meta name in which I posted the video of that on my
03:55channel
03:56if you guys want to um check it out so um yeah but anyways here's the tape itself there's the
04:03sticker
04:03label right there and the end label so yep that is the original Meta Media Home Entertainment VHS release
04:14for Tunnel Vision right there see it
04:20Alright moving on next up I got right here is the 1980 Media Home Entertainment VHS release for
04:28the Groove Tube released in 1974 and um as you can tell on the cover art it actually says
04:36Media on the bottom corner since this was right after um Meta's name was dropped from the company's
04:44label and just called Media Home Entertainment so um yeah but they still kept the same kind of um
04:50Meta artwork design till 1981 when they updated the cover arts to have the um white media banner at the
05:00bottom but I'll get to that in a moment so um yeah but anyways this is Groove Tube on media
05:07there's the
05:08front of the cover right there and there's the side
05:15and there's the back of it right here and let me pull out the tape itself and there's the tape

06:02and let me pull out the tape and now the tape actually has an updated sticker label from 1981 with
06:10the silver Media Home Entertainment sticker label so yep that's pretty cool so yep that's the front of it
06:18right there and the side right here the the end label I should say so yep that's the 1981 Media

06:36all right now moving on to the 1981 to 1984 media releases in which these particular tapes contain the
06:48white media banner at the bottom of them and these are by far my um favorite of all the Media
