Members of the Health Alliance for Democracy, People’s Health Movement–Philippines, and the International League of People’s Struggles stage a picket outside the World Health Organization office along United Nations Avenue in Manila on Tuesday, April 7, to mark World Health Day 2026 and urge the public to support science.  This year’s theme, “Together for health. Stand with science,” launches a year-long campaign highlighting the role of scientific collaboration in protecting the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet.
