00:30You
00:58Skip
01:00Skip, we need your help.
01:04Oh!
01:05Come on, there's work to be done.
01:07Yeah, Skip. I'm doing my work and yours, too.
01:11Uh, knock it off, Squeaky.
01:13Don't call me Squeaky.
01:15That's enough, both of you.
01:17You missed a piece there, Skip.
01:18It's just a little piece, Papa.
01:21Every little piece counts, son.
01:23It's gonna be a cold night.
01:25We might even get some snow.
01:27Now you're taking a break?
01:29No, Papa. I thought I heard something.
01:32Probably the storm.
01:34There's a big one brewing.
01:35It's gonna be cold, too.
01:42Papa? What is that?
01:45It's a bulldozer.
01:47And it's headed this way.
01:50What are we gonna do, Papa?
01:54We're gonna run for our lives.
01:56Drop everything, come!
01:58We've gotta go find Mother!
02:01Oh, there's nothing like soup on a cold winter's day
02:05For a husband who's working her children at play.
02:12Soup to keep you safe from a man or a cat.
02:15A pinch of this, a dash of that.
02:20Hurry!
02:21We have to run!
02:22Henry, what on earth is going on?
02:25They're bulldozing everything!
02:27Who?
02:28People!
02:29Come on, now!
02:30Surely they wouldn't destroy our home!
02:32They don't care about us!
02:34I told you that!
02:39Let's save what we can!
02:41Come on!
02:42Let's get out of here now!
02:44Hurry!
02:48Huh?
02:54Run!
02:55Run, everyone!
02:56Run for your lives!
02:58Faster!
02:59Faster!
03:09No!
03:09Whoa!
03:13Phew!
03:17Now what?
03:20Come on, he'll be back!
03:22Will everyone jump?
03:24Follow me!
03:25Jump!
03:27You can do it!
03:29One, two, three, jump!
03:33Henry!
03:38That was fun!
03:41Yeah!
03:42Everybody alright?
03:45I'm okay.
03:46But Henry, what are we going to do?
03:49We'll try to get to cousin Jasper's place.
03:52He'll surely take us in until we find something permanent.
03:55Come on.
03:59Thank you!
04:02Oh, my God.
04:28Curtis! Step right in, Charles.
04:52Christmas Eve. The best night of the year.
05:11Merry Christmas, Curtis.
05:13Merry Christmas to you and your family.
05:22Merry Christmas to you and your family.
05:23Anybody home?
05:25Nope. There's nobody home here.
05:28Did you find a nice one, Charles?
05:31What do you think?
05:34Charles, she's just beautiful.
05:38Can we put her on the top of the tree now?
05:40No problem.
05:47Charles!
05:49There. See? No problem.
05:53She looks great.
05:56Wow, she's beautiful.
05:58Dad?
05:59Yes, Michael?
06:00Is the North Pole in Alaska or Canada?
06:04Well, neither.
06:05It's in the Arctic.
06:07Why?
06:08I'm writing a letter to Santa Claus.
06:10Awfully late, isn't it?
06:12How are you going to get it to him in time?
06:14Email.
06:15I wonder what his address is.
06:18www.
06:22There it is!
06:23Way to go, Michael.
06:24And you just might make it before Santa leaves.
06:27Hey, I want to send Santa a letter, too.
06:30It was my idea.
06:31What about me?
06:33Me first!
06:34Stop, both of you.
06:36Keep this up and Santa will fly right past this house.
06:39Michael, you write your note.
06:40Then I'll help Hallie write hers.
06:43Okay, Mom.
07:06I'm freezing, Papa.
07:08Me too, Papa.
07:10Maybe we could find somewhere to get out of this storm.
07:14We've got to keep going until we get to Cousin Jasper's place.
07:17I don't know where else to go.
07:20Warm in there, I expect.
07:23We will stop at no house with people in it.
07:26We are field mice.
07:28Remember that.
07:29What's wrong with people?
07:30People are frivolous, heartless, and they don't like mice.
07:35Why not?
07:36I can't imagine.
07:38I don't expect that all people are so bad.
07:40It doesn't matter.
07:42We're not going to get mixed up with any of them.
07:44Let's keep going.
08:00Henry, help me!
08:02Huh?
08:05Mother, where are you?
08:07Help!
08:10Help!
08:13Oh, no!
08:15Mama!
08:16Mama!
08:17Are you okay?
08:18Don't panic, dear.
08:20Here, reach up.
08:23That's it.
08:24I got you.
08:28Hold on.
08:34Are you all right, dear?
08:37Oh, it's my ankle.
08:39I've twisted it, and it's hard to walk.
08:42We're going to get you out of this storm.
08:45Even if it means going into a people house.
08:48Oh!
08:49Oh!
08:50Oh!
08:52Oh!
08:53Oh!
08:54Oh!
08:54Oh!
08:54Oh!
08:56Oh!
09:01I think it's bedtime for both of you.
09:04Aw, Mom.
09:05Not yet.
09:06I'm not sleepy.
09:08Can't we stay up just a little while longer?
09:11No argument.
09:12Mom!
09:13Aw, can't we?
09:14Go!
09:27Go ahead, Skip.
09:30Grab hold.
09:33Okay.
09:35I am!
09:47Okay, everyone.
09:48Careful now.
09:49We mustn't be seen.
09:55It's just the wind, Lucky.
10:06Unless I miss my guess.
10:08There's mice living here.
10:15Maybe they're not home.
10:17Hard to know with these city mice.
10:19Probably out gallivanting somewhere.
10:24Hello?
10:24Anybody home?
10:36You'd think these city mice could afford a stairway.
10:38Better than a stairway.
10:40It's a slide.
10:42I'll go first.
10:43I'll go first.
10:45Squeak, you go first.
10:47But be careful.
10:49Yippee!
10:51Here it goes!
10:56Whoa!
10:57That was fun!
10:59Yeah!
11:01Whoa!
11:05Whoa!
11:07These city mice sure know how to live!
11:10Huh.
11:11They wouldn't last a night if they had to live like we do.
11:13I just hope they let us stay the night.
11:16Hello?
11:18Is anybody home?
11:20Well, I'm not sure anybody still lives here.
11:22You know city mice.
11:24Never long in one place.
11:26Eh, just as foolish as city people.
11:28We'll just make it ours for the moment.
11:31Mother, how about you sit down over there and get some rest?
11:34Children, see if you can find some firewood.
11:38Well, here you go, dear.
11:40Oh.
11:40There.
11:42Whoa!
11:50Shh!
11:51I think this is the prettiest Christmas tree we've ever had.
11:55That's what you say every year, sweetheart.
11:58I love Christmas.
11:59There's something so magical about it.
12:02Do you feel it too?
12:04Like what?
12:05Like magic.
12:07Strange and wonderful things happening without a reason.
12:10Like miracles?
12:11I believe in them.
12:13I really do.
12:15Merry Christmas, Julie.
12:16Merry Christmas, Charles.
12:55I know.
12:56Now these people are still not good.
12:58Christmas is a tear.
12:58Or get married.
13:00I can't have married.
13:00You know.
13:01Before I open up, I will go...
13:01Then I'll make it happen.
13:01Let's go and hear you.
13:01I'll make it happen.
13:02Oh.
13:03I'll make a difference.
13:05Why not, Papa?
13:07Because we are field mice.
13:08Our lives are hard, and we don't have the time or money for such foolishness.
13:13Now you children go off to bed.
13:15I'm hungry, Papa.
13:17I'll go looking for food as soon as we get settled.
13:20But I saw cookies out there.
13:22There's also a cat out there who would like a late-night snack.
13:26Now go to sleep, and maybe when you wake, I'll have found some food.
13:30I've never lived in a house with a cat in it before.
13:32There's nothing to fear, Mother.
13:35Cats are very stupid animals.
13:37I don't know.
13:39This one looks smart.
13:43A mouse is smarter than a cat any time.
13:55How long before Santa gets here, Dad?
13:58Two hours, fourteen minutes, and ten seconds.
14:00Aw, come on, Dad.
14:02Why are you so interested?
14:04You know, presents.
14:06Lots of presents.
14:08Think I'll get that scooter I asked for?
14:10Well, that all depends.
14:12Have you been a good boy?
14:14Well?
14:16I've been mostly good.
14:18Not all.
14:19Sometimes he teases me and calls me names.
14:23Santa Claus wouldn't leave stuff for Halle and not for me.
14:26Would he, Dad?
14:27I wouldn't think so, but don't worry.
14:30I doubt if he'll overlook you just because you teased your sister a little.
14:34A lot.
14:35Let's go to sleep now.
14:37I'm not going to sleep.
14:39Me either.
14:40I'm going to close my eyes and pretend.
14:43He won't come unless you're asleep.
14:45And he's a smart old man.
14:47You can't fool Santa.
14:48Are you going to read the poem?
14:49You want me to?
14:51We already sent out the book.
14:53And tell us the story, too.
14:57Let's see.
14:58In New York City, way back in 1822, a heavy snow had fallen on Christmas Eve.
15:04A night much like tonight.
15:07In downtown New York, a man named Reverend Clement Moore was in a hurry to get home to his family.
15:13His driver was a roly-poly little man who had such a jolly red nose that Reverend Moore began writing
15:19a poem about him.
15:21By the time he got home, the poem was finished.
15:24Reverend Moore called it, A Visit from St. Nicholas.
15:27And he recited it that very night to his wife and six children.
15:32Six children?
15:33Wow!
15:35T'was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
15:43The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
15:50The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.
16:01Where are you going?
16:02I'm hungry.
16:04I'm gonna see if I can find something to eat.
16:07Where do you think you're going?
16:08I'm going to celebrate Christmas.
16:11Don't be silly.
16:12You don't even know what Christmas is.
16:15I know, but if I can find out what it is, then I can celebrate it.
16:19Papa said it was something foolish.
16:21Doesn't look foolish to me.
16:23It looks like fun.
16:26What do you think Christmas is, Skip?
16:28Must have something to do with that tree out there.
16:32They called it a Christmas tree.
16:34Then let's see what's in that tree.
16:37Forget it, Squeak.
16:38You'll get one step out of Mama's sight and you'll get scared and start crying and you'll spoil everything.
16:45Well, I'll be brave.
16:46I promise.
16:48Well, okay, but not one whimper.
16:53Hey, maybe we'll find something to eat while we're at it.
16:58All clear?
17:00All clear.
17:01All clear.
17:04Jump!
17:05What?
17:07The cat?
17:10It's okay.
17:11He's asleep.
17:28No!
17:30Skip, help!
17:36Skip! Help!
17:40Skip! Help!
17:56We made it.
17:58Now let's find some food.
18:00Come on!
18:24I don't know why they call us a Christmas tree.
18:27It's just a regular tree
18:29all dressed up with lights and ornaments.
18:31Me, me, me, me, me.
18:34Hey! Did you ever hear a sound like that
18:37come from just any old tree?
18:39Me, me, me, me, me.
18:44Whew! I've got a great idea!
18:47What? Let's go home.
18:48You said you were gonna be brave.
18:51I wish I hadn't said that.
18:53Maybe someone's hurt.
18:55We better see if they need help.
18:57Me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
19:11You over there!
19:12What are you staring at?
19:15I guess at you, ma'am.
19:17Are you all right?
19:18Of course I'm all right.
19:20What makes you think otherwise?
19:23And what are you mice doing here?
19:26If it pleases your majesty,
19:29we're trying to find out what Christmas is.
19:31I am not your majesty.
19:33Although I can see why you assume that.
19:36As for what Christmas is,
19:38Christmas is a time for singing!
19:42Me, me, me, me, me!
19:45You call that singing?
19:50Here's one you'll like.
19:51Me, me, me!
19:53Deck the halls with boughs of holy.
19:55La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la!
19:58Tis the season to be jolly!
20:01La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
20:03Dawn we now our gay apparel!
20:06La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
20:09Join the ancient yuletide carol!
20:12La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
20:18Does that answer your question?
20:21Now do you know what Christmas is?
20:23I guess.
20:24Then run along.
20:26Thank you, ma'am.
20:32I was hoping Christmas was more than singing.
20:35I was hoping we'd find something to eat by now.
20:38Up or down?
20:39Up.
20:40I want to see more of this tree.
20:45Give me a hand up.
20:46Here.
20:48Whee!
20:56Danger.
20:57Falling icicles.
21:01Watch out!
21:02Whoa!
21:03Let's get out of here.
21:07Whoa!
21:10Whoa!
21:14And Mama in her kerchief and I in my cat had just settled down for a long winter's nap.
21:22Look out!
21:24Squeak!
21:34Uh, hello there.
21:40Go away.
21:41What's the matter with you?
21:43You're a mouse, aren't you?
21:45What have you caught against mice?
21:47Nothing.
21:48I just don't like them.
21:49Come on.
21:50Let's get out of here.
21:51She has nothing to do with Christmas.
21:54Sorry we bothered you.
21:56Are you a dancer?
21:57Yes, I am.
22:00Wow.
22:01I've always wondered if I could...
22:03Dance a ballet?
22:04Sure you could.
22:05Christmas is all about dancing.
22:08I don't know.
22:08I do a pretty good hoedown.
22:11What's a hoedown?
22:12It's the way we country mice dance.
22:15Watch!
22:16Anybody want to join in?
22:48Do you call that dancing?
22:51Yeah.
22:52What do you call dancing?
22:54This is dancing.
22:56Julio, please.
23:12Once more, Julio.
23:14Once more, Julio.
23:17What?
23:55If that's ballet dancing, I'll stick to the hoedown.
23:59Goodbye.
24:00And thank you.
24:02Au revoir, mes petites.
24:04Bye.
24:05So long.
24:13Now we know that Christmas is singing and dancing.
24:16And starving to death.
24:18I'm hungry, Squeak.
24:20Maybe if we go a little higher, we'll find something to eat.
24:24If we can get up there.
24:26It's a long way to the next limb.
24:33Wow.
24:36Wow!
24:43KEVIN'S NAME
24:43OK, Squeak!
24:44Come on up!
24:49Look at me, Skip!
24:54Look what I can do!
24:56Let's go, Squeak!
24:58I'm hungry!
24:59Jeep!
25:04Skip!
25:05What?
25:06I didn't say anything.
25:09Squeak!
25:10What?
25:11I didn't say anything.
25:13Over here, follow my voice.
25:19How y'all doing?
25:21Junior, what are you doing here?
25:23I bet you never expected to run into an old chipmunk from back in the field, did ya?
25:28You probably never expected to run into an old chipmunk from back in the field, did ya?
25:30Not expected to run into us either.
25:32Wonders never cease.
25:35Ain't this the doggone this place?
25:38Is that good to eat?
25:40The whole house is.
25:42It's gingerbread.
25:43Try, hunk.
25:49Now, tell us what you're doing here.
25:52I moved.
25:53I'm a silly slicker now.
25:55Back home I was having myself a little snooze right here on this very limb.
26:00Here comes his man and saws down the tree.
26:03You never know what crazy thing people will do next.
26:06That's what our father keeps saying.
26:09I decided to go along for the ride.
26:11Next thing I know, here I am in a big city.
26:15And they've set my tree up and decorated it with all these goodies.
26:20Eat hearty.
26:21About time.
26:24What are you folks doing so far from home?
26:30They bulldozed our place back in the field, so we moved into town.
26:34We're city mice now.
26:36What brings you up to my place?
26:39We're trying to find out what Christmas is.
26:41We never had it at our house.
26:44I'm no expert, but from what I've gathered, Christmas is a time to get together with old friends.
26:50Like us.
26:52Like now.
26:53Somebody tells us something different every time we ask.
26:58Well, take my word for it.
27:00Christmas is a party.
27:01Thanks for feeding us.
27:03You've been a big help, Junior.
27:05Drop in any time.
27:07And if you see any of my folks, tell them I made it good in a big city.
27:12Yeah.
27:12Nice place to live.
27:14Plenty to eat.
27:16Uh-oh.
27:18Whoa!
27:20Whoa!
27:23See what I mean?
27:26We'd better be getting on our way.
27:29Bye-bye, Junior.
27:31Bye, y'all.
27:33Thanks for coming.
27:42Charles!
27:44What's the matter?
27:45You were snoring, shaking the whole house.
27:48I'm sorry.
27:49I guess I was dreaming.
27:51What was that?
27:51We'd better find out.
27:55When out on the lawn, there arose such a clatter,ki sprang from my bed to see what was the
28:00matter.
28:00Away to the window I flew like a flash
28:03Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash
28:06When what to my wondering eyes should appear
28:09But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer
28:12Ho, ho, ho
28:15With a little old driver so lively and quick
28:19I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick
28:30Look out!
28:32Huh?
28:33Where there's bones there's got to be meat
28:36You're still hungry?
28:38That gingerbread was just dessert
28:40I want some real food
28:46I don't believe it
28:48Up there
28:57Hello there
28:59I didn't know I had visitors
29:01Come out
29:02Have a seat
29:04Excuse me sir
29:05There's no place to sit
29:07Well just pull up a chunk of cheese
29:10You do like cheese, don't you?
29:20A cheese chair
29:23Well that's a joke
29:25It's alright to laugh
29:33Yeah right
29:35A cheese chair
29:36Hmm
29:37What are you rats doing here anyway?
29:40We're trying to find out what Christmas is so we can celebrate it
29:44Why didn't you say so?
29:46Christmas is for eating
29:50It's my favorite time of year
29:53Hmm
29:55But a bear needs more
29:58I'm a bear on the loose
30:00And I see the Christmas goose
30:02when I think about the yams, then I grab myself some hams.
30:07Mmm, there's a good hunk of cheese.
30:11I don't have to say, please.
30:15There's always room for more.
30:18I say, there's always room for more.
30:24When you really get hungry in your tummy, tummy, tummy,
30:27then grab some more meat. Or maybe something sweet.
30:30I could find a place to stash it.
30:34If it's dough, maybe I'll cash it.
30:37There's always room for more.
30:41More food. There's always room for more.
30:46If the table looks empty, better find a horn of plenty.
30:50Ah, here's a mound of squash. It's better than a nosh.
30:54Sometimes I like it cold. Doesn't matter if it's old.
30:57There's always room for more.
31:09You rats aren't carrying any food, are you?
31:13Like in your pockets?
31:15No, sir. And we're not rats.
31:18We're field mice.
31:20Hmm.
31:22I wonder what a field mouse would taste like.
31:25We taste terrible.
31:27Yeah. We taste terrible.
31:32I'll try anything once.
31:34Oh.
31:37Oh.
31:38Watch out!
31:40Grab the umbrella!
31:41Hang on!
31:43We're outta here!
31:45It's not opening!
31:48Ah!
31:48Whoa!
31:52We're saved!
31:54We're doomed!
31:57Help!
31:59Help!
32:00Hop on!
32:03Thank you, sir.
32:04You saved our lives!
32:10There we go!
32:11Now tell me, what are you doing out so late on Christmas Eve?
32:15We were running away from a hungry bear.
32:17It looked like a cat to me.
32:19That, too.
32:21Were you running because you've been naughty?
32:24No, sir.
32:25We were running to save our lives.
32:27And we haven't been naughty.
32:29You aren't telling a lie, are you?
32:31Lies are naughty.
32:33Who are you?
32:34I'm Santa's advanced elf.
32:36I let Santa know when the coast is clear.
32:39And I keep track of who's been naughty and who's been nice.
32:43Which is it?
32:45We are nice.
32:46Yeah.
32:46We are nice mice.
32:48I'm not sure.
32:50What brought you up here, anyway?
32:52We are trying to find out what Christmas is.
32:55That's easy.
32:56Christmas is a time for gifts.
32:58Giving gifts, getting gifts, buying gifts, wrapping gifts.
33:02It's all just one big gift thing.
33:04Is that all there is to it?
33:06That's all I know about it.
33:08But you can talk to those folks up at the top of the tree.
33:10I don't think we can climb that high.
33:13Don't you know anything?
33:15Like what?
33:17Christmas is also a time when wishes come true.
33:20Wish yourself up there.
33:22I wish to get to the top of the tree.
33:26I think your wish is coming true.
33:29It works!
33:31Thanks again for saving our lives, Mr. Elf!
33:35You be more careful.
33:37Next time I might not be there to rescue you.
33:40More rapid than eagles, his courses they came.
33:43And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name.
33:49Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and Vixen.
33:53On Comet, on Cupid, on Donder and Blitzen.
33:56To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall.
33:59Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!
34:03So up to the housetop, the coursers they flew with a sleigh full of toys.
34:08And Saint Nicholas, too.
34:10As I drew in my head, and was turning around.
34:14Hi, Santa!
34:16Down the chimney, Saint Nicholas came with a bound.
34:29And what's the situation here?
34:32There's been a little name calling.
34:34But on the whole, everybody's been nice.
34:36Good.
34:37He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot.
34:41And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
34:46A bundle of toys he had flung on his back.
34:48And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
34:52His eyes, how they twinkled!
34:55His dimples, how merry!
34:57His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
35:02Ho!
35:04Santa!
35:05Chicka-caw!
35:07Santa!
35:09Now if you wanna get a present,
35:12everybody wants a present.
35:15If you want a new toy,
35:18They always want a toy!
35:21If you wanna get a present,
35:23Everybody wants a present!
35:26Gotta call me, gotta write me, gotta stand up and say,
35:30You believe in me!
35:34Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!
35:37If you wanna get a present,
35:40If you wanna get a present,
35:40Everybody wants a present!
35:42If you need a new doll,
35:44Gotta call!
35:45To give the man a call!
35:47To give the man a call!
35:47To give the man a call!
35:48If you wanna get a present,
35:51I wanna get a present!
35:53Better call you,
35:55Better write you,
35:56Better stand up and say,
35:58I believe in you!
36:01Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!
36:04If you wanna get a present,
36:07Everybody wants a present!
36:10Gotta call me,
36:11Santa Claus!
36:13Gotta write me,
36:14Santa Claus!
36:15Gotta shout it from the tree,
36:18You believe in me!
36:21Gotta call me,
36:22Santa Claus!
36:23Gotta say it if you do!
36:26I believe in you!
36:30I do!
36:32You gotta call me,
36:35Santa Claus!
36:38And just call me,
36:40Call me,
36:42Santa Claus!
36:44Ho!
36:46Yeah!
36:47Santa Claus!
36:48That's right!
36:50Call me,
36:51Santa!
36:54Santa Claus!
36:57A wink of his eye,
36:59And a twist of his head,
37:01Soon gave me to know,
37:02I had nothing to dread!
37:04He spoke not a word,
37:06But went straight to his work,
37:07And filled all the stockings,
37:10Then turned with a jerk,
37:12And laying a finger aside his nose,
37:15And giving a nod,
37:17Up the chimney he rose!
37:21Charles!
37:24Michael!
37:26Huh?
37:27I had a dream!
37:28Big deal!
37:30Now leave me alone,
37:31So I can get some sleep!
37:34No!
37:35I dreamed Santa Claus was here!
37:37Oh!
37:38Too bad,
37:39You're gonna miss him!
37:46He sprang to his sleigh,
37:48To his team gave a whistle,
37:52And away they all flew,
37:54Like the down of a thistle,
37:56And I heard him exclaim,
37:58As he drove out of sight,
37:59Happy Christmas to all,
38:01And to all a good night!
38:03Mom,
38:05Howdy said Santa was here!
38:06Well,
38:07It's Christmas Eve!
38:11Wow!
38:12See?
38:13What did I tell you?
38:21Henry,
38:22Wake up!
38:23What?
38:25The children!
38:26They're missing!
38:28How could they be missing?
38:29They're in their beds asleep!
38:31They are not in their beds!
38:32Where could they have gone?
38:34Poor things!
38:35They went to bed hungry!
38:37Maybe they've gone looking for food!
38:40Those cookies on the mantel!
38:41Maybe they went there!
38:46How nice to have visitors!
38:48I seldom get them!
38:49It's difficult to get all the way up,
38:51I suppose!
38:52You can say that again!
38:53And what brings you to the top of the tree?
38:56We're trying to find out what Christmas is!
38:58Yeah!
38:59Everybody tells us something different!
39:01I guess Christmas is just too complicated to understand!
39:05Why, it isn't complicated at all!
39:08Christmas is love!
39:10A love that began over 2,000 years ago!
39:13Don't you know the story?
39:14No, ma'am!

39:45Holy infant so tender and mild
39:53Sleep in heavenly peace
40:01Sleep in heavenly peace
40:10Silent night, holy night
40:17Son of God, love's pure light
40:24Radiant beams from thy holy face
40:32With the dawn of redeeming grace
40:39Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
40:49Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
40:57Sleep in heavenly peace
41:10The miracle that began that night in Bethlehem
41:13Is what Christmas is
41:15That is what we celebrate
41:17Nobody said anything about mice
41:19You sure Christmas is for mice too?
41:23It's for every living soul
41:25Everywhere in the world

42:03Except in that tree
42:05Surely they wouldn't have gone so far from home
42:07We'll have to search it to be sure
42:12Happy Christmas, nice mice
