00:09So obviously, Floyd Mayweather has some serious money issues. He's being sued by a lot of people.

00:16He's being sued for $330,000 in back rent for his Manhattan apartment.

00:21He's had some business dealings go south. He's suing Showtime and Steven Espinosa for $340 million.

00:30The man's broke, and it's clear as can be. We're going to talk about that really quick.

00:34So when you go over to Twitter, because it is trending, apparently Floyd Mayweather has announced that he is coming

00:38out of retirement to fight professionally.

00:41So this isn't news about the Mike Tyson fight. This is something completely different.

00:45That Tyson fight is an exhibition that is scheduled for the spring.

00:49His professional career is going to pick back up in the summer of this year.

00:54So we have the exhibition in the spring, and then Floyd is back in the ring to fight professionally, 50

01:01We all know how important that is to him, TBE, 50-0.

01:06It's insane, but here we are.

01:10They are pulling these retired fighters out of retirement and putting them on Netflix and giving them big paydays.

01:20Floyd Mayweather going broke before 50 and having to return to boxing is both unexpected and sad.

01:27That comment wins the day for me.

01:29It sums it up perfectly.

01:30Floyd had billions of dollars in revenue from his supposed business ventures and boxing career.

01:38And here we are, not too far gone from his retirement.

01:42He retired nine years ago, and he's broke.

01:45So he's back in the game, and it's sad, right?

01:48One of the all-time greats has to come back and fight to live this crazy lifestyle that he wants

01:52to live.

01:54So, you know, we scroll through Twitter, and we find all these crazy things that are popping up,

01:59and people are obviously talking about the big matchups that we could potentially see.

02:03How about a Canelo versus Floyd Mayweather, too?

02:06I think that Canelo is way too big for Floyd at this point.

02:09I don't think that would happen.

02:10But here's the Ring Magazine announcing that Floyd Mayweather is back,

02:14and he plans to fight professionally in the summer.

02:17Okay, so we have that.

02:18Oh, there's my video.

02:19This is my video talking Stephen Espinosa responding to that $340 million lawsuit with Showtime.

02:27Stephen Espinosa basically just laughed during this interview.

02:31He didn't even care to look into the details because he knows it's bullshit.

02:34It's probably not going anywhere.

02:35But Floyd's trying to get $340 million out of Showtime.

02:39The same Showtime, the same Stephen Espinosa that got him that unheard-of deal,

02:44a deal that we've never seen before.

02:46Huge amounts of money.

02:47And here we are, not too far from that contract,

02:50and Floyd is suing Stephen Espinosa in Showtime.

02:54And then, as this news is breaking, we have Floyd Mayweather posting about a Money Team Visa card.

03:03Oh, if you are applying for the Money Team Visa card, you are a loser.

03:14Imagine being the waiter and getting, like, that card.

03:19So he's shilling all this shit, and it's fucking insane to me.

03:24If you go over to his Instagram and his Twitter and all his socials,

03:27you'll see that Floyd is shilling a vodka company, a water company, a supplement line, a Visa credit card.

03:35Like, the shit doesn't end.

03:37He's selling mentions on his Instagram account.

03:39Like, times are tough.

03:40Don't get me wrong.

03:41I would love to have any, the littlest fraction of the money he's getting from those deals,

03:45and I could live comfortably probably for the rest of my life.

03:48But when you have Floyd Mayweather and you live in this business expense lifestyle

03:53where everything's just luxury, you can't survive, you can't.

03:57So here we are, and, you know, we're talking potential matchups for Floyd

04:02and who he's going to fight, and there's a lot of speculation that, you know,

04:07we could see a Mayweather versus Crawford type of deal.

04:12Another name that's being thrown around is Mayweather versus Pacquiao 2,

04:15which if I was a betting man, I would bet the house that it's going to be Floyd Mayweather

04:20versus Manny Pacquiao 2 because that's what was rumored before this Mike Tyson exhibition was announced.

04:27So we saw that, and now we have the Mike Tyson exhibition,

04:32and Pacquiao is fighting professionally, and he just fought,

04:38I don't know, was it three months ago at this point, two months ago?

04:40So Pacquiao's fighting professionally.

04:42Floyd Mayweather comes out of retirement to possibly fight Pacquiao again professionally

04:48for a huge payday, right?

04:49Like, is that what we're going to see?

04:50I tend to think that that's the story, you know.

04:53It is sad, though, that we're here.

04:55I mean, what's cool is, like, we can think of all these, like, fantasy matchups,

04:58and, like, a Terrence Crawford versus a Floyd Mayweather.

05:05to make that fight happen, but let's not get it twisted.

05:08I mean, Terrence Crawford would absolutely mop Floyd Mayweather at this point.

05:12Floyd Mayweather hasn't been in a boxing ring in 10 years.

05:16Now I'm talking professionally, in a real fight.

05:19He hasn't been in a real fight in, what, 10 years?

05:21And you're going to get in with Terrence Crawford, who just beat the piss out of Canelo Alvarez, right?

05:27Pound for pound king.

05:28Smacked him around, a much bigger guy.

05:30Canelo's way bigger than Floyd at this point.

05:33Canelo is way more talented and has blossomed into the fighter that he is,

05:37and I think that if it was Canelo Mayweather, I think Canelo beats Mayweather.

05:40I think Crawford beats Mayweather.

05:42I think any relatively active top guy beats Mayweather.

05:47I wouldn't mind seeing Tank Davis versus Floyd Mayweather.

05:51That would be an interesting matchup.

05:53Keep Tank on the outside with that 1-2 jab from Mayweather.

05:59and, you know, they're in from a weight standpoint, they're there.

06:03But I think that Terrence Crawford would absolutely punish Floyd Mayweather.

06:07My whole thing is, like, what is the point of this Mike Tyson matchup if it's anything other than money?

06:15If you're going back to fight professionally in the summer,

06:36That would be my first pick.

06:38Mayweather McGregor would be 2, even though technically, I mean, that could be considered an exhibition, right?

06:44Because Conor's not active, not an active boxer.

06:48You might have to go that route to fight Conor.

06:52So maybe that's not 2.

06:54Maybe Mario Barrios.

06:56Pacquiao just fought him to a draw.

06:58He's fighting tomorrow night.

07:24His last year he was active as a full-time fighter was 2015, right?

07:32And let's be honest, that was like an exhibition for him.

07:34That wasn't a real fight.

07:35So you're talking now.

07:36We're in 2026, if my math is correct.

07:39That is 11 years of not fighting professionally.

07:43So people will say he's coming out of retirement because of money.

07:46That's absolutely true, right?

07:49There's no doubt about it.

07:50He needs the cash.

07:51And like I said, if you're going to put him in with a big-name guy, uh-uh.

08:06Well, Boxing Pro, what you don't realize is that Floyd Mayweather wanted to be hated on.

08:12The second half of his career, the entire second half of his career, he was out there being the bad

08:16guy, being the heel.

08:17Like in WWF or E, whatever it is, they call those guys the heel, right?

08:22Playing the bad part.

08:23He did that for the entire second half of his career because it was profitable.

08:27People were buying his fights to watch him lose.

08:30Not because they wanted him to win.

08:32People were buying the fight because they wanted him to lose.

08:35So what do you think the people want right now?

08:37They want him to lose.

08:39When you play that character of the bad guy and you convince people that you are the bad guy and

08:43you live this luxurious lifestyle, you're only going to get haters, right?

08:47So you can't have it both ways.

08:48You can't have Floyd Mayweather being the heel, pretending to be the bad guy.

08:52I'm not saying he is a bad guy, but playing the part of being the bad guy.

08:56And then when fans refuse to worship him and honor his career, you can't have it both ways, my friend.

09:02So Floyd Mayweather coming out of retirement shows he's still chasing records and proving undefeated legends.

10:43Floyd Mayweather is back.

10:45I think this is a bad thing for the sport of boxing.

10:48Not necessarily for Floyd, but boxing was huge in the 90s, in the early 2000s.

10:54And the UFC came around and stole a little bit of its thunder, but Floyd Mayweather kind of ruined the

11:01sport of boxing, in my eyes.

11:03Because to take a loss was, like, the end of your career.

11:06That's how guys started treating it and promotions started treating it.

11:09They build these guys up until they're 40-0, you know, fighting nobodies, trying to get that one big payday,

11:14babying them, not seeing the best fight the best.

11:17The Floyd Mayweather approach, it hurt the sport.

11:19But now here we are, looking back at the 90s and the early 2000s, and all of the fans that

11:25used to love the sport of boxing and tune in to all the fights and watch the best fight the

11:30best.

11:31Here we are with these big names that people are comfortable with.

11:34They go and watch Floyd Mayweather.

11:36They watch Manny Pacquiao.

11:37They watch Mike Tyson, expecting to see them how they were 20 years ago.

11:42And they're not getting that.

11:43And it's bad for the sport because it reflects badly on the sport.

11:47Because they don't want to know the new guys.

11:48They don't want to have to deal with a million different weight classes and belts and different promotions and the

11:54best not fighting the best.

11:55They don't want to have to deal with that bullshit.

11:56They want to see the best fight the best.

11:59That's why I'm okay with this Zufa shit.

12:01If they're trying to switch some things up, I'm okay with it.

12:04Because the sport's in dire need of some kind of change.

12:07And if Zufa's going to try and put the best in with the best, so be it.

12:10You've got to make a Zufa belt and fuck all the other promotions and all the other belts and sanctioning

12:15bodies.

12:15So be it.

12:16I'm okay with trying to change things.

12:18But people are going to tune in to this Floyd Mayweather fight.

12:21And they're going to expect 2005 Floyd Mayweather.

12:25And they're going to get 48-year-old Floyd Mayweather, who's a step slower, who's going to get hit.

12:30His chin is going to get tested for sure because he's slower.

12:34And Floyd's chin has only been tested a couple times.

12:46And it's sad because he's coming out of retirement.
