00:05We're back with our final release of the 2025 Session Roadmap.
00:10This update is solely focused on the core of our gameplay and getting all features as
00:14close as possible to their intended final version.
00:19We have performed a pass at the major physics and navigation issues hindering Session's
00:24gameplay.
00:24The first stop was ensuring that we had a better weight distribution when onboard and
00:29cruising, avoiding your front truck diving off the sidewalk or drop, and allowing for
00:33better overall navigation.
00:35These changes allowed us to address the player being unrealistically pulled up from banks,
00:39making it harder to predict your line.
00:41You should now be able to consistently gauge your speed and line up your tricks when skating
00:46transition.
00:49Full release, partial release, and no release grind input modes have now been merged into
00:54one.
00:55Meaning players can transition right into their grind input from their pop input without
00:59releasing the sticks.
01:00However, you will need to release the sticks after performing a flip trick before your
01:04grind input.
01:05This change was necessary to account for the addition of Casper slides and Primo slides
01:10into the full skate ecosystem in Session.
01:14As part of our push to achieve our true Skatecore V1, we had to address the much overdue experimental
01:20menu.
01:21It is important to note that these features strongly influence the main control scheme,
01:25overall feel, and flow of the game, so certain concessions had to be made.
01:29All tricks and options from the experimental tab have now been relocated into other settings.
01:34Casper and Primo can now be found in flip trick settings.
01:37Lip tricks can be found in grind settings.
01:40And finally, city life and map layouts can now be found in the new map menu.
01:47On our journey to achieve Session's true Skatecore V1, there have been a lot of gameplay fixes
01:52for this update.
01:53So let's just go through some of the highlighted ones.
01:55The skater's feet now look more natural when performing low-pop nollies and low-pop ollies.
02:00You no longer fall when doing board slides and lip slides on ledges.
02:03Smith grinds on ledges have been improved.
02:06Wheel bite friction now functions as intended.
02:09The board no longer fully detaches from the skater when performing one-foots.
02:13The skater's knees no longer go through the character when popping off steep ramps.
02:17The small manual or nose manual on landing after manual catch no longer occurs.
02:21The skater no longer hops off the board when landing after a manual catch.
02:24You no longer fly out of a grind or slide on kinked rails.
02:28Riding into grinds or slides on curbs or pole jams have been improved.
02:33And finally, popping out of blend slides no longer dips the nose on landing.
02:37There's a lot more gameplay and bug fixes in this update, so check out the dev blog for
02:41the full list.
02:41And that's a wrap on Session's 2025 Roadmap Updates.

02:49core to its full potential.
