00:00Hey everyone, welcome back. Let's talk about our Phoenix Suns. Right now, the vibe around
00:06the organization is positive, and honestly, it's a feeling we haven't had in a while.
00:11We're sitting at 32-23, coming out of the All-Star break, and we are just 1.5 games
00:17away from locking in a top 6 playoff spot. That's real. But here's the thing, even with
00:22this trajectory, general manager Brian Gregory isn't taking a victory lap. He recently sat
00:27down with Arizona sports Bickley and Marotta for Newsmakers Week, and he explained why
00:32he knows how fragile success is in this league. He said that building this isn't just about
00:37talent. It's about identifying the right people. It's about character, work ethic, and finding
00:42players and coaches who actually want to be part of a restructured system. He credited
00:47owner Matt Ishbia and head coach Jordan Ott for creating that alignment, which has been
00:51a huge talking point. For us this year, some people look at our style of play and wonder
00:55if we can sustain it physically. But Gregory pointed out that as we get healthier, with
01:00Jalen Green potentially seeing more consistent minutes, that depth is going to be critical.
01:04He made a great point. Taking just 2 or 3 minutes off a player's load, over a few weeks
01:10adds up. It's going to be essential for these last 27 games, and get this, according to BetMGM,
01:16we've already surpassed our expected win total of 30.5. We are literally outperforming the
01:23projections, and we're the only team in the league who can say that right now. But Gregory
01:29is keeping it grounded. He said, payoff is too strong of a word, because we're still in
01:34the process. He just finds it rewarding to see the competitive level, and the joy the
01:39guys are playing with, because that's the framework for a championship team. So, looking
01:43at this squad, and how they're playing, do you think this is just a feel-good story? Or are
01:48we actually watching the foundation of a serious contender, being built right in front of us?
