00:00Hi. How are you doing? I'm doing good, thank you. How are you? How are you enjoying this? I know
00:04there's been a lot of red carpets and stuff recently. Is it normalised yet?
00:08Not quite. I mean, I still get excited every time it's happening, which I think is a good thing, you
00:13know. Yeah, no, it's still quite surreal, but I'm enjoying it and, you know, I've got good people around me
00:22to keep me grounded.
00:24I'm sure this has been happening probably every day at this point since Stranger Things came out. People going, oh,
00:29you're English, oh, you're British. Like, are you enjoying that reaction? I mean, a job well done.
00:34Yeah, I mean, I'm like, like, every time it's done, I'm like, yes, get in there. Because, you know, obviously
00:40it means the accent is believable, which is, yeah, it's fun.
00:44I'm going to stroke your ego for a second, make your blush maybe, because I have been speaking to a
00:47couple of your other fellow tenter watchers here, and I said, who's excited to speak tonight?
00:52And both Alfie and Charlie said, no, can't wait to see you tonight. People are excited to talk on you,
00:58which is fantastic. Who are you excited to run into tonight, perhaps, in the room?
01:02I mean, Alfie, I'm sort of, I think we're both, you know, young British actors, and it's actually not that
01:10common, you know.
01:11In London, there's, like, not that many of us, and I think it's really cool to be able to meet
01:16someone who sort of gets it.
01:19But, yeah, no, I mean, it's such a great, so many great people here.
01:24I know that so many people, of course, have been talking to you about Stranger Things, which is a fantastic
01:27achievement, but you're also on The Tonight Show.
01:30And I am so fascinated to know what the whole process, how you find being on The Jimmy Fallon Show,
01:34because that's also the pinnacle of stardom at some point, isn't it?
01:38No, I mean, it was amazing. The stage is a lot smaller than you think. No, I mean, it was
01:43just surreal. He is so lovely as well. Like, what you see is what you get.
01:48Yeah. And, you know, sometimes I find the interviews quite nerve-wracking, but he just made it so easy.
01:55Okay, thank you.
01:56And, yeah, just had the best time.
01:58I love it. I was actually looking as well for yourself, and you have, at this point, four million Instagram
02:04followers.
02:05Is that something which is quantifiable? How has that, like, changed the day-to-day for you in any way,
02:08or do you try and stay away from that kind of numbers?
02:10I mean, I'm not really that involved in my Instagram. Like, I do it professionally, you know, and I do
02:16the posts, but it's not, you know, I'm not, like, on there every day, because obviously, like, it has its
02:23benefits, and it can be great, but it, you know, obviously, it can also be quite harmful, too.
02:30But, no, it's great to see, like, all the support that me and Holly have gained.
02:37So nice. I've noticed this from a lot of the people who go online as well. Have you started popping
02:43up in your own algorithm yet? I've found that it's just, like, emerging onto your phone when you're on it
02:47and stuff.
02:48I don't, so I don't have any social media on my phone. I do it, like, on my dad's phone.
02:54But, like, I'll be with friends, and they're just, like, scrolling through, and they're like, oh, found you.
03:01Which, you know, sometimes, like, ha-ha.
03:02I love that. Obviously, Stranger Things is, like, a massive moment in time, but we're kind of, like, easing away
03:07from it now, obviously.
03:08The double breath of it has said, no more Stranger Things. So, I guess, for you now, are you, like,
03:12well, I'm going to focus on school.
03:14Are you looking for more jobs? What's actually next for you? Have you got anything in the pipeline?
03:17Yeah. I had, like, a lovely break for all of 25. Just having, you know, just going back to normality,
03:25back to school. I love my school. I'm near my friends and my family and all that.
03:31But, no, I'm excited for what's to come next. There's nothing set in stone. No signed contracts. But we've got
03:39some things bubbling.
03:41A lot of hush-hush, right?
03:42A lot of hush-hush. But I'm excited for what 2026 is to bring.
03:47Fantastic. All right. What is, I mean, did you set yourself a goal for 2026? Did you set yourself like
03:52a New Year's resolution?
03:54Um, I am trying to read a book per fortnight. Oh, good in there. How's that going so far?
03:59It's good. It's going, I, um, I've actually read, like, this week, I've read two books in fortnight. So, a
04:06book per week.
04:07That's more than I've read in the last five years. That's incredible. Enjoy tonight. Congratulations again.
04:12Thank you so much.
04:12Thanks a lot.
