00:00Okay, Creighton yesterday pulls off now.
00:02Let's talk about this.
00:03One of the bigger upsets in the entire college basketball season.
00:06Simply put, a top five team that's a 15-point favorite or more,
00:11losing outright, losing by seven,
00:13almost never happens over the course of the season.
00:15So, Coach, I would ask you, just a hot night for the Jays
00:19or a letdown for UConn?
00:22Well, let's be honest, Craig.
00:24This Creighton team has been a disappointment up to the season.
00:26Folks, Creighton was ranked inside the top 25 at the beginning of the year.
00:30And they just had not played well in playing at 14 and 13.
00:33But at the end of the day, when you go on the road, okay,
00:37you got to do a couple of things.
00:39Number one, you got to win the three-point line.
00:41Number two, you got to win the rebounding battle, right?
00:44And number three, you can't turn the ball over a ton.
00:48So what did Creighton do?
00:50Creighton shot the ball 49% from the floor.
00:53One beat UConn.
00:55They didn't win the three-point line in regards to Miggs,
00:58but one in percentage is shooting 47% from the floor.
01:02They made their free throws, and they out-rebounded Connecticut by six.
01:06That's how you win games on the road, right?
01:09You win the hustle plays, you knock down your shots,
01:12and you protect the ball.
01:14So it was a great win for Greg McDermott's team.
01:17The Big East is going to become very interesting
01:20because we'll probably talk about St. John's next,
01:22but there is a sneaky big game.
01:25I will be there Saturday night,
01:27and that is Villanova versus UConn.
01:31Villanova's also playing very well.
01:32So you got four teams in the Big East now
01:35that I think have started to separate themselves from everyone else,
01:38especially with Seton Hall having a tough home,
01:40I think home loss, I do believe, to DePaul last night.
01:44So you got four teams in the Big East.
