00:00News that the former Prince Andrew has been arrested is sending shockwaves through the UK.

00:15we know that the brother of King Charles was taken into police custody
00:20on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
00:24A police statement said there are searches of properties in Berkshire and Norfolk underway
00:30and vehicles believed to belong to the police have been seen near Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Norfolk home.
00:37And we've now had an extraordinary statement from the king himself
00:41saying that he's learned the news with the deepest concern,
00:45that he asks for a full, fair and proper process to investigate this issue by the appropriate authorities.

00:56The police did not name him, but it's believed this investigation relates to the period

01:12being passed to Jeffrey Epstein.
01:15The former prince has denied wrongdoing in relation to his association with the financier
01:20and convicted paedophile.
01:22And it's important to remember that this is an investigation.
