00:32starting at the age of 11 addicted her to the platforms and led to depression and suicidal thoughts.
00:39It's just the first in a group of cases including more than 1,600 plaintiffs, 350 families, and 250 school
00:47districts
00:47that claim that the owners of Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Snap knowingly designed addictive products
00:54that harm a young user's mental health.
00:57Parents are demanding answers from Zuckerberg and others.
