00:12what is going on beautiful people it's blip and today i just kind of wanted to address some
00:18concerns um being that we are going into early access soon uh i do know that a lot of people
00:25do feel like we may not be ready for early access and i kind of wanted to just take the
00:31time to
00:32break down uh what we are working on and what's already been implemented into the game for those
00:37who might not know um even for those who tested and just might not understand what's in the game
00:43already um so yeah i'll take a second to kind of catch you guys up uh so basically what we
00:51already
00:52have done is our metabolism system our animal stats your builds um and your build influences
01:01so that that also may consist of like specific diet types so with the build system i guess i'll break
01:10it down because i didn't want to ruin it i wanted you guys to find out in game but just
01:14so you guys
01:15can know that there is other things that's already done so for the builds we offer we offer slim
01:23athletic normal muscular stocky and then your two debuff builds would be one is emaciated and then one
01:33is obese which would be considered slacker or call it labeled as slacker in game uh they all have their
01:42pros and cons and that i won't i won't ruin for you guys you guys can find out in game
01:47what those pros
01:48and cons may be i will speak on some specifically such as like the wolf um because there will be
01:55some
01:56abilities going in uh to early access that might not be there like initially on launch um but just you
02:05guys are aware of these abilities that will be added at a later date so i guess i'll start the
02:12wolf and
02:12kind of break that down so for your build for the wolf what we decided to do because each animal
02:20should
02:20feel unique in its own way uh the wolf slim and athletic will have a stam training primary attack
02:29so the bite will deal or reduce the prey's stam one deals more stamina drain than others
02:38um and then for its stocky or muscular it'll do a fracture bite uh which would obviously slow down
02:48your prey uh versus taking away stam so how you can achieve these builds is following a specific diet type
02:56while also maintaining your weight so we also have a weight system so if you overeat you can get fat
03:03and it will show on your animal uh the changes so if you like i said if you overeat you'll
03:08start to see
03:08your animal get fat uh to counter that or if you don't eat enough uh you'll start to see your
03:14animal
03:15get slimmer um so to burn fat you obviously have to stay active keep running about travel explore just
03:25obviously just be moving you gotta burn calories um obviously some people may want to put on weight
03:32to try to achieve different builds so uh overeating and not being as active can help you uh reach builds
03:38like muscular or stocky um or slacker right uh also being inactive after eating will increase your
03:50your fat uh fat source rate so they're it almost kind of penalizes afk growers uh which isn't a bad
03:58thing um but something that i feel like we did have to to say out loud um so yeah sitting
04:04around
04:06isn't ideal right for most animals so there will be some animals that are ambush predators that kind of
04:12have to sit about or or creep around um their intake would be a little bit different or their
04:19their store their fat stores rate would be different compared to a moose or a deer right um just because
04:29they have to lurk so with that being said so that's already in game we already have the reproduction
04:35system in game a lot of people weren't aware of it uh it's been in there for quite some time
04:40now
04:41actually um i know a lot of people had concerns about our ui main menu um at some point in
04:52the
04:52video it should be in the beginning of the video you should see the new main menu layout uh you
04:57should
04:57see the new character selection at some point in this video you'll end up seeing the new player list
05:04and uh activity log uh ui as well so a lot of that stuff's already been changed um
05:11um also some abilities that will be going in that will be changed at a later date again i feel
05:18like
05:18i have to speak on because going into early access they will be a little bit more simplified just
05:23because we don't have the time to set up skill checks but your latch and pounce won't have skill
05:31checks but they will be dependent on your animal's weight right so for example if your puma is
05:40considered stocky uh going for a pounce on a slim deer it'll have a higher success rate of
05:47securing the kill uh versus if it was a slim puma trying to pounce on a stocky deer the favor
05:57is in
05:57the deer so it'll probably it'll more than likely get buffed off uh same thing with the wolf and its
06:04latch and so the wolf will actually end up having two latches so it'll have a jugular latch and then
06:10uh an ankle latch the jugular latch again will be dependent on the animal's weight and its weight
06:19same same setup as the puma uh but the ankle latch for the puma and wolf uh just are to
06:26slow down your
06:27prey uh it doesn't deal any damage but you would kind of you would use it with the wolf for
06:34pack
06:35hunting um i guess you could say the same thing for the puma if you have a partner because they
06:41are
06:41solitary so we kind of wanted to design them that way um so their abilities in the future will be
06:47more
06:47for loan hunting versus uh pack hunting so those are the abilities that are set up and that are going
06:57into early access um also a lot of the changes that we did make to the ui um and then
07:05obviously
07:06what i would want to hear from you guys is what do you guys feel is lacking um or what
07:12do you feel
07:12like should be in uh come early access or even post early access what do you guys want to see
07:17coming into the game uh outside of animals of course just like what do you feel could be better
07:23uh obviously we know animations could use some work animations are the most expensive part of
07:29developing the game um so if early access goes well here's the goal for us right if early access does
07:38well our goal is to revamp the entire project right so bring on professionals to come and help rebuild
07:46reorganize re-optimize the project um while also reanimating all of our current models now this
07:54wouldn't set a set back anything for early access this would just be worked on in the back end
07:59um but the vision is still the same i want the game to be i want it to feel very
08:06immersive
08:06um very seamless and very natural right uh so obviously with more funds i can bring that vision
08:16to life we are making do with what we have currently um and for what it is right because
08:24we started the project over fresh from scratch uh seven months ago
08:29i'm proud of where we are now however is it where we want to be no but in order to
08:35do that
08:36we need to generate more income but that's not what this video is about this video is about
08:40just letting you guys know what is what to expect of early access what will be in early access
08:44and what's already currently in testing um so hopefully this kind of gives you guys a better
08:51understanding of what to expect for early access um i'm pretty sure right now you guys are probably
08:58just watching meezy and page run about on the server um so i'll let you guys enjoy that like comment
