00:00Yesterday in his statement about Jesse Jackson, the president said, despite the fact that I'm falsely and consistently called a
00:05racist,
00:06by the scoundrels and lunatics on the radical left, Democrats all, it was always my pleasure to help Jesse along
00:11the way.
00:13Where or when does the president believe he's been falsely called racist?
00:18You're kidding, right?
00:20I will pull you a plethora of examples.
00:23I'm going to get my team in that room to start going through the Internet of radical Democrats throughout the
00:29years, Ed,
00:30who have accused this president falsely of being a racist.
00:34And I'm sure there's many people in this room and on network television across the country who have accused him
00:38of the same.
00:39In fact, I know that because I've seen it with my own eyes.
00:42And the president very much looks forward to having an event later this afternoon at 3 p.m.
00:47to celebrate Black History Month and to talk about how his policies are advancing opportunity and prosperity for all Americans
00:55through record tax cuts, through the Trump accounts that all Americans can access regardless of race.
01:02These are a great thing for the next generation of Americans.
01:05The president has also awarded hundreds of millions of dollars in additional funding to strengthen educational outcomes
01:11at historically black colleges and universities across the country.
01:14Again, the president is protecting the hard-earned benefits of the 2.4 million black veterans
01:20who honorably served in our nation's armed forces by reducing the black backlog of veterans,
01:24waiting for their VA benefits and for their home loans through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
01:32So there is a lot this president has done for all Americans regardless of race.
01:36And he has absolutely been falsely called and smeared as a racist.
01:40And I'm happy to provide you those receipts.
01:42And we gladly will right after this briefing.
01:45Jennifer, go ahead.
01:46You mentioned the $5 billion in pledges for the Board of Peace.
01:49Will we be able to get a breakdown of which countries are providing each of those pledges?
01:54Yes.
01:54And which countries are providing troops?
01:56Sure.
01:57We're happy to provide that breakdown.
01:58And I'm also happy to provide the list of countries that we'll be attending tomorrow.
02:02I know it's more than 20 countries.
02:04I know there's a lot of interest in that.
02:05I'll spare myself reading you the list of 20 countries from the podium.
02:09But we will provide it.
02:10And the president will be opening the meeting tomorrow with remarks.
02:14And we'll sort of formally be chairing the meeting at the beginning before he departs for Georgia tomorrow.
