In the 1979 TV movie Murder by Natural Causes, Allison Sinclair (Katharine Ross) and her lover, actor Gil Weston (Barry Bostwick), plot to murder her husband, renowned mentalist Arthur Sinclair (Hal Holbrook), by literally scaring him to death, exploiting his weak heart.
