00:00Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has eliminated any and all family members as suspects in the
00:05disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, saying in a statement, quote, to be clear, the Guthrie
00:09family, to include all siblings and spouses, has been cleared as possible suspects in the case.
00:15The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case.
00:19To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. Armchair detectives were quick to point
00:25the finger at Guthrie's son-in-law, who was the last person to see her the night she had
00:29disappeared. Now, this statement serves two purposes, unequivocally clearing him of involvement
00:34and telling that faction of the internet to knock it off. Now, earlier in the day on Monday, TMZ received
00:41their fourth letter from someone claiming to have information about the case. Here's TMZ boss Harvey
00:47Levin reading from the latest note. In this letter, it says, I know what I saw five days ago south
00:54of
00:54the border. And I was told to shut up so I know who he is. And that was definitely Nancy
01:03with them.
01:06Levin went on to encourage the sender to share the information that they have with TMZ so that
01:11they can send it along to the FBI and create proof that the sender helped in the investigation and
01:16perhaps would be able to get some of that $100,000 reward money being offered. But, and this is a

01:23but, no one has been able to confirm whether or not these letters or the claims in them are real.
01:30Now, also on Monday, the Post spoke briefly with President Trump about the ongoing investigation.
01:35And he said if Nancy Guthrie is found dead, the abductors would face, quote,
01:40the most severe consequences. And when asked if that meant the death penalty, the president responded,
01:46the most. Yeah, that's true. And finally, CBS News confirmed the police might soon have a lead on that
01:52backpack that the man in the frightening doorbell camera footage was wearing. Walmart has been
01:57helping in the investigation, providing authorities with records of all purchases of the black Ozark
02:02trail hiker backpack, which is what he was wearing and is sold exclusively at the big box store.
