00:01West Yorkshire Police have announced they will host the 64th National Police Dog Trials in May,
00:07bringing together 21 dog and handler teams from across the UK. The competition will take place
00:13at several locations, with the final day open to the public on Nostal on the 16th of May as a

00:19family event. Phases include tracking suspects by scent, searching buildings and open areas,
00:25criminal work, obedience and agility tests. Superintendent Nicola Brown says police dogs
00:31play a vital role in detaining offenders, finding missing people and recovering evidence. And the
00:37event showcases their skill and service for communities across West Yorkshire and beyond.
