00:22Off to Venice. It was a late night at opening ceremonies so I might try to catch
00:28some sleep on the way to Venice.
00:35Here in Venice, not much time for sightseeing.
00:44We'll get some lunch before the bus. McDonald's will be tempting. Not seeing
00:49the canals but something. Let's not be silly and get McDonald's. We're in Italy.
00:55The climb to Cortina begins.
01:00Pulling over for a 20 minute break. Maybe get a snack or something.

01:10Made the climb from Venice through the Olympic area of Cortina but my hotel is a
01:18side of the road basically. The Dolomites. Beautiful up here. One more bus. Think I
01:25know where I'm going? If not, not a terrible place to be.
01:31Caught the last bus. I'm riding up more of a mountain to the hotel.
01:41One more five minute walk to the hotel.
01:49Made it. Eight and a half hours. Unbelievable schlep. Two buses and a train got here and ready to cover
01:56races up here.
